If you think about its actually like 10-12 cards being added to a different game that nobody plays
That makes sense shut up

From reddit.
You'd think that after +2 years they would stop being so shit at wording their cards.
You'd think that after +2 years they would stop being so shit at wording their cards.
how would you have worded it?
how would you have worded it?
At the start of [del]your[/del] each turn, if this minion is in your hand, transform it into a random minion and it gains this ability.
The effect doesn't need a "at the start of each turn" or "at the end of each turn" in the card text because it doesn't matter. Regardless of when this triggers you will always have a different minion at the start of each turn.
Also, it's pretty obvious that it keeps transforming after it has transformed. If it only transformed once it wouldn't be worded as an ongoing effect.
[del]Mind vision.[/del] Doomsayer/Rag with Chillmaw/Voidcaller. Other future cards.
Pretty obvious isn't good enough.
At the start of your turn, if this minion is in your hand, transform it into a random minion and it gains this ability.

p.much this
the very first question that popped into everyone's heads was "does this mean it transforms once and then stops?"
the game is already pretty fucking vague in a lot of ways, we don't need it being more vague on card text
At the start of your turn, if this minion is in your hand, transform it into a random minion and it gains this ability.
this isn't even grammatically correct; "it" in this case refers to the initial card, not the card it becomes.
I think the text it has is the perfect blend of concise and mechanical. It's totally obvious that the effect occurs each turn while the minion is in your hand, because it literally says the words "Each turn that this is in your hand". Ya'll're just a bunch of whiners.
It literally doesn't say when the effect occurs.
Let's be really quick and not format this time, because the Tavern Brawl of this week is IDOLS OF AZEROTH
"Ever draw a spell when you really needed a minion? Never again! Your deck will be 30 Raven Idols, so you'll be able to discover whatever you need!"
Special Rules:
1. You just pick a class, and than enter the game with 30 Raven Idols in your deck. Good luck, challenger.

no, it literally isn't obvious that it happens every turn, because the top comment on the reddit thread, and the first thing that was said when I was watching Kolento on the card's release was "doesn't that mean it transforms only once"
you can't say it's the perfect blend of concise and mechanical when people already misinterpreted what the card does and it isn't even out yet
more like mage OP, just discover a flame waker and gg

whoever said that wasn't really thinking or was just trying to be a smartass
the implication of "each turn" is that it is a reoccurring effect
But uncommon interactions don't have to be initially obvious on the card, you learn how the card works by playing it. The card text only has to give you a basic understanding of the cards effect.
It's not an uncommon interaction, it happens every turn.
They kept it out of the card text because that information usually isn't important. And once you get in to situation where that matters you will understand how it works.
I believe you should be able to tell exactly what a card does before you craft it. Without having to look it up on a wiki or whatever.
whoever said that wasn't really thinking or was just trying to be a smartass

or alternatively they were thinking in the same lines of every single card in hearthstone that already has a transform ability where it loses all of the pre-existing abilities
your problem with the other guy's description was that it had an ambiguous pronoun, but you don't have a problem with a card using an existing mechanic but works in a different way, and conveys the additional effect through a method that isn't written on the card
FoN is dead holy shit
[editline]20th April 2016[/editline]
they literally enacted the kripp parody nerf on FoN but one mana cheaper
that's what force of nature should always have been. the old one was just nonsensical in a class like druid
[editline]20th April 2016[/editline]
i mean not with those stats but in concept
Arcane Golem is even deader than it was before.
I like most of the changes, but Blade Flurry felt really overkill. Could've atleast been 3 mana if it's gonna be minions only.
Really glad they didn't go full Warsong Commander tho, most of the cards are still playable.
But no Divine Favor rework? Seriously? :why:
Other thingies
Jeweled Scarab > Ironbeak Owl is now possible!
Mekgineer Thermaplugg nerfed.
Blade Flurry got BTFO'd, should have been 2 mana hit minions or 4 mana hit everything, not both nerfs.
I'm kind of surprised Hunters Mark got nerfed, I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain about it
Blade Flurry got BTFO'd, should have been 2 mana hit minions or 4 mana hit everything, not both nerfs.
or 2 mana, hits minions and combo: costs 1 (2?) more and hits all enemies
Atleast Molten is even better in Holy Wrath decks now.
I think I'll still use Knife Juggler in Zoo
Ancient of Lore still seems okay also? I don't play much Druid but it seems like it's still playable
With my golden BGH and all those druid cards, that a lot of free dust.
Good thing they nerfed FoN instead of Savage roar.
BGH is still gonna be a must-include for c'thun season
Blade Flurry over-nerfed, was a good card but not OP. would've been good with it not doing face damage since Blizz seems to be nerfing bursty combos but the +2 mana cost is overkill
Blade Flurry definitely seems odd considering they're also removing Oil from standard, which was the main way Blade Flurry did any real damage at all
That feel when you have a Golden Molten Giant waiting...
Blade Flurry seems definietly overnerfed though. I think they did this so they can print more powerful weapon buff-cards.
BGH will be still run in Wild as long as Dr. Boom, C'Thun and any high-impact cards are alive, he just won't be as big of a Tempo swing. I see the card as balanced now, it still will be an autoinclude against Boom in Wild and a viable option in Standard.
Owl will be still everpresent just because it's cheap. On the other hand, Keeper of the Grove now may actually be replaced by Mire Keeper, since it was hit quite big, but the card is still quite good when you think about it. I think Druid's 4 slot in general has now got more options than Keeper, but Keeper will still be one, and I'm not sure if that's good or bad considering what kind of card is Keeper of the Grove. Force of Nature wasn't nerfed but rebalanced, I still like the card but it's more of a Token deck card now. Better than Wisps of the Old Gods for sure. Ancient of Lore is similar situation to Keeper IMO, people will still consider playing Ancient of Lore just because of it's utility.
Knife Juggler and Leper Gnome deserved it but Knife Juggler will still be played in every Aggro or Zoo-ish deck just because of the juggles and because it trades with 3/2 statted minions. Leper Gnome nerf also nerfed poor Thermaplugg. Arcane Golem is trash now, but hey, we know it got changed because Blizzard wanted to get rid of the Renolock combo. Molten will still be played, and is even better with Holy Wrath now.
Hunter's Mark and Blade Flurry I simply do not get the nerfs. Master of Disguise was a terrible and a broken card at the same time. Better have it terrible all the time IMO.
