Why the fuck are they always butchering Rogue. Blade Flurry did not need that.
I think I'll still use Knife Juggler in Zoo Ancient of Lore still seems okay also? I don't play much Druid but it seems like it's still playable
It's less appealing in the seven drop slot but still probably flexible enough to see play, especially with stuff like Healbot leaving the rotation.
Also Freeze mage untouched XD
I agree with what everyone else has said so far, but I also kind of wish Savage Roar had been nerfed since it's a bigger 'problem' than FoN by itself
I agree with what everyone else has said so far, but I also kind of wish Savage Roar had been nerfed since it's a bigger 'problem' than FoN by itself
Not really, you can play around Savage Roar, especially since they're nerfing Arcane Golem. It's really strong only when you have lots of charge minions.
This really pisses me off cause now Rogue has pretty much no board clear. Flurry already needed several cards before it to be worth a damn and now you can barely do that. Mean while freeze mage is completely untouched. I'm so pissed right now.
Seems like Wild is going to be for players that can't get legend without overpowered cards such as Dr. Boom and Mad Scientist.
Not really, you can play around Savage Roar, especially since they're nerfing Arcane Golem. It's really strong only when you have lots of charge minions.
Surely it's still really strong with any sort of board presence?
Remember this is blizzard, they really suck at balancing. Freeze mage should be tweaked, and blade furry rip.
Surely it's still really strong with any sort of board presence?
The same could be said about a lot of cards. Savage Roar is not as good as you are trying to make it out to be.
Surely it's still really strong with any sort of board presence?
Good luck getting actual big board presence outside of arena. And if you do it's gg 9 times out of 10 anyway, Savage Roar or no Savage Roar.
I'm quite content with most of the nerfs, opinionsss- Ancient of Lore: Card was v.good, now not so. Azure Drake seems better. Stats should've been 5/6. Force of Nature: We all seen this coming. Reduced mana cost helped it from becoming completely useless. Keeper of the Grove: Still #1 utility minion. Good nerf. Hoot hoot owl: Still the cheapest silence outside of Priest's. Spellbreaker should see way more play now. Big Game Hunter: Goooood. Still playable with all them old gods coming. Hunter's Mark: This is sort of unneeded but I wouldn't complain. Blade Flurry: Paths way for more powerful Rogue weapon buffs. Currently it is overnerfed fo' sure. Knife Juggler: Still pretty good for zoo. Leper Gnome: It still serves its purpose, but it does seems like Blizz try hard to kill aggro. Arcane Golem: lmao what. Stats should be 4/5 or even 5/5 because right now it is trash. Molten Giant: Fine by me. Master of Disguise: Long time coming, but stats should be buffed a little to compensate. PSA: Disenchant all these nerfed cards, even if you still want to use them! With the full dust refund, you can craft them again even if you regretted your decision at no cost.

"Long time coming" Yeah, for the Hearthstone developer team, not the player base, I don't think many people care about that card besides Rank 18 players that make gimmick Hogger decks.
Holy shit Blade Flurry got completely dumpstered. I agree with the change that it doesn't hit face to reduce the insane burst potential, but there was no need for the +2 mana cost. Now it's basically a 7 mana 3 damage boardclear that takes 2 cards to pull off. Meanwhile, mage has a 1 card, 7 mana, 4 damage clear that still isn't good enough to be autoinclude. I just don't see the logic behind this. Arcane golem also turned into completely unplayable. Not that I really mind because there's plenty of other charge minions in the game, but I didn't see that card as particularly problematic. BGH and owl are fine I guess. IMO BGH needs to cost at least 4 mana to be balanced, but I guess at 5 he could still be playable. All I can say about FON is, good riddance. AOL and and Keeper didn't deserve such big nerfs though. The 2/2 keeper body is just trash. It's like a slightly better Ironforge rifleman / nerfed owl, except that you're paying 1 more mana for it. Lore is now just obviously overpriced for what it does. I predict nobody is gonna play them anymore. Molten also got rekt, not sure why they needed to do that. Hunter's mark, uhh ok? Don't see why it needed to change, but at least it's still playable... The other nerfs seem fine. Looks like Huge Toad and Flame Juggler will now see more play with the juggler nerf, especially in standard because there's no more muster/implosion and creepers.
Molten change won't affect Handlock or Renolock much, I think it will be still viable enough in Renolock and will be simply harder to comobo in Handlock and won't work with Jaraxxus anymore unless you Thaurissan. I don't really get the Hunter's Mark change though.
None of these nerfs bother me and yay dust
I like when a win for a quest doesn't count for some reason
I'm kind of surprised Hunters Mark got nerfed, I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain about it
It was insanely talked about back in the buzzard days, problem is nobody plays decks anymore where it is that important Nerf was needed
Unless deathrattle rogue takes off the class might end up getting played less than shaman. Also, just to be clear, you have about a week after the nerfs hit to dust the cards for full value, correct?
I like when a win for a quest doesn't count for some reason
If that happens, either re-loading the game, or simply playing another game should count it.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing that FoN nerf.
I really like that 5 mana cost BGH means you basically sacrifice a turn to burn a threat none of this "i have 10 mana, so i can spend 3 of it nailing one of their big creatures and then play a huge creature myself"
The classic BGH your Dr. Boom, I play mine play is now dead.
i actually think the blade flurry change is great, rogue shouldn't have big aoe. It doesn't really fit its basic playstyle.
I'd say half of it was good, should have still maybe been 2 or 3 mana. Because it was essentially 2 mana windfury for the hero WITH aoe before. They should have just decided what Rouge wanted more without nuking from orbit [editline]20th April 2016[/editline]
I really like that 5 mana cost BGH means you basically sacrifice a turn to burn a threat none of this "i have 10 mana, so i can spend 3 of it nailing one of their big creatures and then play a huge creature myself"
Most importantly it will still kill mountain giant in time
Now hopefully they reveal the rest of the set tomorrow All we can hope for is that the rest of the new cards can justify some of the more controversial changes ...Maybe Rogue is getting a bunch of cool new toys?
Now hopefully they reveal the rest of the set tomorrow All we can hope for is that the rest of the new cards can justify some of the more controversial changes ...Maybe Rogue is getting a bunch of cool new toys?
Have they announced every single card in the previous expansions for HS? I thought they might leave out a hand-full of them to discover on our own.
Have they announced every single card in the previous expansions for HS? I thought they might leave out a hand-full of them to discover on our own.
That feels kinda pointless to me We'll know all of them by Tuesday anyway, I feel like it's more fun to build excitement (or shame, but that's unintentional) by giving us time to figure out how we want to use the cards [editline]20th April 2016[/editline] Also, never mind They specifically said they are revealing "some" new cards tomorrow, so you might be right!

Can anyone add me and let me spectate them for this "watch a friend" quest? Tag is ZestyLemons#1907 (north america)
