It turns out that card draw is quite a problem in this brawl, when you play all these 1 mana minions you quickly run out of cards. So I made a hunter deck and Starving Buzzard is basically the MVP. Discovery minions are also pretty useful due to the extra cards you get. So you can put Buzzards, Webspinners, Jeweled Scarabs, Haunted creepers, Unleash the Hounds and similar sort of stuff in your deck. Then you wait till you get enough beast cards and play the buzzard + a bunch of beasts in a single turn to fill your hand. I guess something like Cult master + Unleash the Hounds would also work well, I have to try that out. Explorer's Hat is also awesome since you'll have enough mana to cast it pretty much every turn due to minions being so cheap.
This guy is the hero of the day. This is the first time I've actually felt "good" at this game. [t]http://i.imgur.com/fVqIY7v.png[/t]
played the new tavern brawl turn 1 mistcaller turn 2 troggzor, stormwind champion and coin into defender of argus turn 3 mukla's champion and hero power enemy concedes [editline]28th January 2016[/editline] i might be bad but i feel good
This brawl feels so stupid sometimes, it relies heavily on players drawing into good combos quickly or else they just don't stand a chance. Almost every game one player will concede by turn 7. It feels as if Blizzard uses these brawls to test new experimental game mechanics and we're their lab rats. They're like "hey, we thought of this crazy new effect, let's find out which cards become completely broken when you put it in the game"
i might be bad but i feel good
In Hearthstone, everyone's the devil. Brawl designs felt like brainstorm ideas that the programmers are willing to code.
Mekgineer Thermaplugg is insane in this Brawl. Added bonus of dealing like ~10-12 damage if they decide to AoE the board.
When is Force Savage going to get nerfed? Getting slightly tired of dying at 25+ health repeatedly because of this garbage combo.
When is Force Savage going to get nerfed? Double combo is nothing near the OTK Paladin, litteraly a pain in ass for any kind of control deck. The second wave is just way too much to handle.

I really wish Dragon Priest wasn't the only viable option.
does activate fatigue mean burn every single card in both players deck?
I was thinking something along the lines of whenever a player draws a card they also take fatigue-damage. It'd be a nightmare in Control Warrior though. :ohno:
imagine mill with that o lordy
This brawl really sucks, but there's nothing better than dropping brann+loatheb (or outright killing) a guy who's spamming well played/sorry because he has OTK hand It's payback for a year of bad luck and unpunished bm
I just redownloaded Hearthstone after I stopped playing when whatever expansion that had Haunted Creepers came into play. It's really hard to get back into the game, so much has changed. My decks are apparently absolute shit now, I can barely make it past rank 17

Pro Tips: You should get Dr. Boom asap (7 mana | 7/7 Legendary Minion | Battlecry: Summon two 1/1 Boom Bots (WARNING: Boom Bots may explode!).). It is actually an unbalanced card, in sense that those Boom Bots have Deathrattle: Deal 1-4 damage to a random enemy, combined with the massive main body it is a huge tempo drop, and those Boom Bots will most of the times trade very favorably. You can get him in Goblins vs Gnomes packs (good luck) or craft him for 1600 Arcane Dust (same price as any other legendary). More top tier cards are Sylvannas and Ysera, but I'm sure you know about those. Ragnaros is falling out of the Metagame, so do not invest in him as of now. Do not buy The Grand Tournament packs, 90% of cards there are not viable as of now. You are better off crafting them (Effigy, Twilight Guardian, Mysterious Challenger, Justicar Trueheart). later on. Take the first wing of Blackrock Mountain adventure when you will be able (unless you do not have Curse of Naxxramas, in such case, take Naxx first, too many good cards in there). Emperor Thaurissan (6 mana | 5/5 Legendary Minion | At the end of your turn, reduce the Cost of cards in your hand by (1).) is another super-strong legendary, for obvious reasons. Making your stuff cheaper is pretty much almost always useful. After first wing of Blackrock and Naxxramas, go for League of Explorers adventure instead of finishing Blackrock Mountain. The rest of the cards in Blackrock are mostly mediocre or only fit a specific deck (i.e Dragon decks). League of Explorers has many great cards that define today's metagame - Reno Jackson, Tunnel Trogg, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Anyfin can Happen, Forgotten Torch, Dark Peddler, Tomb Spider, Jeweled Scarab. New mechanics are in the game. Discover is a great mechanic - it reveals three random cards (either neutral or from your class, class cards get a bonus in terms of how often they appear), and you can pick one to keep in your hand. Cards such as Tomb Spider (Battlecry: Discover a Beast), Raven Idol (spell, Choose One: Discover a minion OR Discover a spell) or Jeweled Scarab (Battlecry: Discover a 3-Cost minion) are good because they have Discover. Discover is applicable to both Spells and Minions, and is a great and fun mechanic with controllable RNG that gives you another dimension of playing. Another new mechanic is Inspire - Whenever you use your Hero Power, something happens. Inspire is only used on minions, and has proven to be not as sucessful as everyone thought, mainly because it is too slow for this metagame. Some Inspire cards are used, but not commonly. Last new mechanic is Joust - while not entirely a keyword, it it bound to both minions and spells. When you Joust, you reveal a minion from each deck. If yours costs more, a beneficial effect happens. Needless to say, those cards are 90% of times terrible. This mechanic failed horribly, avoid it. Undertaker Hunter and Leeroy Miracle is gone. You also missed the era of Patron Warrior, another OTK deck. However, Secret Paladin is the main deck now, eventhough it is actually a Midrange/Aggro deck for once. Secret Paladin actually uses many of the Paladin Secrets and cards that synergize with Secrets (Secretkeeper, Mysterious Challenger (6 mana | 6/6 Epic Paladin Minion | Battlecry: Put one of each Secret from your deck into the battlefield.)), than seals the deal with strong options to make a smooth curve. My first has been botting using the same deck as me and he's got to rank 15 whilst I'm still at 18 lol
don't bot

Man, the fact that I actually have to win my games in order to do my dailies is rather annoying. It's just so hard to actually win 5 games in the time I can set aside just for Hearthstone. I think I'm able to finish like 2 or 3 daily quests per week.

I'm sure more would be adjusted so it couldn't be abused. It's just so annoying being in a match where your opponent gets the lucky to draw to win, while you were the next turn away from winning yourself, and you get nothing from it.

like i said before, win streaks should give you bonus wins towards the 10 gold as well. if they can't make anything that has to do with losses work because of bots and losing on purpose, then at least start rewarding people for winning, because currently you're making better use of your time by waiting for quests than dedicating yourself to binges. you play 2 games for a 40g quest, you're getting more than if you played (and won) twelve games. i feel like i'm essentially being pushed to wait and not being rewarded enough for committing to the game
I made a Rogue weapon. I'm not sure if the card text is clear enough. Basically if the attack kills an enemy, you get the weapon back in your hand as a card. The weapon doesn't actually renew itself. It's supposed to be like Blackjack, but for minions.
