Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft V4 - We're gonna be RICH! - Games

That what I get for getting my Warcraft lore information by lightly skimming TVTropes

The rest of the cards reveal really has alot of "basic-ish" or "arena" minions, but what is interesting for me is the 10 Mana 10/10 minion. How much of an impact will THAT have in Arena, and would it be even worth playing that?

Oh btw, I feel bad for priests. Their cards look meh outside of the C'Thun synergy cards.

So how does everyone rank the new class Legendaries? I'm not super invested in any but it seems like it starts at Hallazeal or Fandral and bottoms out at Volazj or the new Mage one

I'm actually impressed by this set now. You guys are saying a lot of these cards are bad - and they are - but many of them are meant for Arena. Like, Priest got Power Word: Tentacles as a common, which is an AWFUL constructed card, but could possibly be a very powerful force in Arena considering how absolutely broken Velen's Chosen is in that format.

So I'm playing this guy and he's rope burning, but it's down the the end of the rope, and it's been like this for a couple minutes now. With a card hovering over his minions, but then it showed him trying to attack me. Is this an exploit to try and get a win? I haven't been DC'd from servers. edit: hmm couldn't concede, guess it was a server issue.

Kinda sad that we didn't get to hear any voicelines. The stream was hilarious, but I want those sweet, sweet voicelines. The only one I heard was Posessed Villagers "AH GEDDIT OUT, GEDDIT OUT" or something along those lines. And no maniacal laughter for Yogg. :cry:

Tried a casual match and it was fun, until to the very end when I started to do bad moves and I got destroyed. Get every hero to level 10 for bonus gold. Same with defeating every Expert AI.

Get a pack first you will be destroyed in arena if you don't know the cards

Did we get any great anti-aggro tools this expansion? I'm really afraid of aggro shaman running rampant now that Healbot's gone. The cyclops-taunt-thingy and the Priest yeti + flash heal seems kinda okay tho. :v: And obv the C'thun +10 armor/heal cultists.

Forbidden Ritual is shown as an Epic but was Rare when they played games on the stream. Considering that all other classes have 2 epics, 3 rares, warlocks having 3 epic, 2 rares would be weird so it's a rare imo.

You have to pay 150 gold to enter and you're only guaranteed to get 1 free pack out of it as a reward. You also get other rewards in addition to the pack, but those scale with the number of wins you get in your run. Generally you have to go over 3 wins to get more than 150 gold worth of rewards. So as a beginner, playing arena and getting destroyed in it is a waste of gold. However, the first run is free and you get the rewards from it, so you might as well give it a try. Other than that, spending gold on classic packs would be a good idea, those contain the majority of the strong cards that people tend to put in their decks. Just don't buy the GVG packs or the Naxxramas expansion, as a beginner you probably want to focus only on cards that will be a part of the upcoming standard format.

I wonder if people are confused when I use the first season Pandaria card back but all my decks are shit I couldn't play until recently because the game would crash my computer every time
