Priest was left untouched by the nerfs. I literally couldn't give a damn that the nerfs occurred. Feels good rolling over all the previous T1 decks right now. I honestly think Control Priest is extremely powerful in the post-nerf pre-Old Gods meta. Ten game god damn winning streak. GOTTA FARM THAT RANK THO [editline]25th April 2016[/editline] I only ever lost to Face Shaman by the thinnest of margins and now I don't lose at all. That Knife Juggler and Leper Gnome nerf was HUGE.
So I went on a card purge, and now I have the ashes of 7165 innocent cards. So Sylvanis and Rag are still top tier legends for the upcoming Lovecraft meta right? [editline]25th April 2016[/editline]
I have boom already.
The disagree is right, not anymore. May the heavenly sounds of angry nerds, sing him to thy wild rest.
but... but what about dr boom in tavern brawl?
Well, by my math I have enough dust for 4 legends I think, so I guess I can spare some to bring him back. Important classics and probably TGT's come first. If I don't decide to just hold on the dust for crafting Old God cards instead, which would be smarter really. [editline]25th April 2016[/editline] I know I'm definitely going to craft me some kind of Control Shaman deck with the awesome new shaman cards!

You don't want to craft a then useless classic card now or another Troggzor when the expansion comes out.

I am def gonna try to earn some gold with a standard Mid-range paladin so me and linkuya can co-op arena with the new expansion added in.
So I made a Paladin Mid-Range deck for pure Standard play to do the standard quests that earn me my 13 packs. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/495967-temporary-standard-paladin-deck What do you guys think?
With the card nerfs live, I can finally disenchant my Golden Force and Nature and 2 Knife Jugglers. Now I can craft 2 legendaries, whoop whoop.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/PUhvzFl.jpg[/t]
All I could think about. 0:59 and 0:39
Gotta love it when you see a Hunter drop Arcane Golem and wonder why it can't attack.
I can't wait to see what direction they'll take the rogue now that the Blade Flurry nerf is in effect. I don't play rogue a lot, because I think the rapid, weak-ish weapons are kinda meh and I suck so I end up taking way too much face damage, but this really does allow for some stronger weapons and more poisons without completely overpowering the game. It'll be interesting for sure
Weird question but if you summoned a charge minion and silenced it, would it still be able to attack?
Weird question but if you summoned a charge minion and silenced it, would it still be able to attack?
No.
Weird question but if you summoned a charge minion and silenced it, would it still be able to attack?
It wouldn't have charge anymore, so it couldn't attack the turn you played it (could still attack after that turn like other minions though)
Weird question but if you summoned a charge minion and silenced it, would it still be able to attack?
The easiest way to find out how silences work is to think "how would this card be if it had no text", as that's what silences do, and without the charge text they wouldn't charge.
i don't see how any of this set is uninspired or lazy? it introduces interesting cards. i look through the card list and i only see interesting cards that open up deck building opportunities. what more do you want? i never saw one card from WoG and thought "what a lazy/uninspired card!" because every card has its purpose. how are they relying too much on previous content, exactly? a lot of these cards have card abilities that haven't been done before.
we're only 3 expansions into the game and they're already reusing major characters such as ragnaros, deathwing, etc... a lot of the cards take effects or very similar effects from already existing cards many cards are dedicated to one synergy and won't be used outside of that, that's a chunk of an expansion that is useless to people who don't like C'Thun or don't want to play him. There are now "corrupted" versions of old cards that are just the same card with the effect reversed and some tentacles added. Same with the game board. Old board, with tentacles. I'm not saying the expansion is bad, just I think it could have been better and fresher. This is Blizzards "new start" almost, with the new format and new expansion coming out at the same time, so why rely so much on previous content?

I was thinking about if you silenced Icehowl to use it as a finisher, if you could do it from initial play or have to wait a turn
nobody would look twice at the new loot hoarder if he was another tentacle for example
that's kinda my point, why does it have to be a loot hoarder in the first place? just make something new
So I actually really like new Rag, he seems like a good way of doing it I kind of agree about say, Deathwing though It's LITERALLY just Deathwing again, no new aesthetic gimmicks or anything But using Hearthstone to do weird non canon versions of characters like Ragnaros seems cool to me, I dunno
that's kinda my point, why does it have to be a loot hoarder in the first place? just make something new
i thought you were talking gameplay, not visuals

I have a feeling that at some point in the future we're going to see a tournament game won off of somebody getting Nat the Darkfisher off of the Golden Monkey and then pushing their opponent one turn further into Fatigue for clutch lethal. In fact it's probably going to be a very relevant card just for that reason, if Control Warriors keep running Elise into the WoG meta.
Is it releasing for EU tomorrow?

Is anyone gonna disenchant GvG legendaries and epics? I can't ever see myself playing Wild, so I'm considering it.
I'm keeping the GvG cards for Brawl (partially Wild) and Adventure (fully Wild).
As much as I'd like to keep mine for Brawls and Adventures, I could REALLY use the dust to be competitive in Standard
I'm keeping all my cards, just from a collection point of view. If I"m still playing this game a few years down the road, it'll be nice to look back at all my cards and think to myself "I remember when these were around." Also, I just completed my daily quest and my grand total savings before tomorrow's release is 2530 gold. After I complete the 2 legendary quests, I'll have almost 40 packs to open.
