man metacritic surely shows some conflict between gaming media and gaming users
Metacritic is a shithole and always has been. Critic reviews are 90% circlejerk and User reviews are 90% "I can't run it on my 1998 voodoo card, 0/10"
I cannot find how to alter the speed of sprinting (not running aka Speedmult) and its consuming me. Does anyone know?
It requires editing Movement Types.
I hope we get the auto axe back in one of the dlcs, it's one of the better melee designs in 3.
i'm dissapointed that the only axes in the game are lead pipes and[sp] grognak's[/sp] I think it would have been cool if leadpipes were the base for a lot of different melee weapons leadpipes could make hammers, axes, and other weird items Obviously wouldn't be as strong as a sledgehammer/super sledge, but it'd be neat to see raiders wielding smaller hammers. Another weapon type I'd really love in fallout would be a bow and arrow/crossbow, but at that point the game would be skyrim.
The Junk Jet fucking sucks
Hasn't it always though? At least now you can add additional effects to launched items. I think it's more of a fun item/challenge run deal than anything intentionally combat useful [editline]28th November 2015[/editline] Like maybe I want to make a character who does nothing but launches flaming skulls at people. With the Junk Jet that's possible.
So I was checking my GPU utilization in Rivaturner, and even in the most performance hogging area (Fallen Skybridge) my GPU does not go above 55% usage, and my FPS goes down to 40 even with shadow distance on medium and godrays on low. thankfully gpu enabled vsync makes it more tolerable.
I installed Fellout for Fallout 3 a few minutes ago, and then uninstalled it because I preferred the green tint. Is this what Stockholm syndrome feels like?

I really hope they'll add a lot more weapons in free patches if not the obvious paid dlc.
I just ran into a beached ship full of Norwegian raiders. Really cool to see Europeans. That being to provide something to use all that random junk for, which you now actually need for salvage.
Junk jet + duplicated wedding rings = So many forced raider brides.
Are there any mentions of new vegas in fallout 4?
Are there any mentions of new vegas in fallout 4?
One guy briefly mentions the Mojave and apparently there's dialogue about the NCR, but nothing directly about Vegas or the game events . A character is also from NCR land as well.
About 3/4 of my entire game time of 63 hours i went with Piper. Good character don't get me wrong, but those repeated lines of hers started to get on my nerve in the end. But i found my answer at the right time. Curie, by change i stumbled upon her. And what a character.
Anyone else uses these two as a way of testing weapons? [T]http://i.imgur.com/2x1iu8P.jpg[/T] They get melee execution animations most of the time too.
Tony's been in the wasteland for a week now and it hasn't exactly done him any good. His armor is still a rusty pile of trash. Surprisingly, he's not addicted to Psycho yet.
honestly, it's only useful if you cheat in a large amount of an item, like basketballs/bowling balls fuck using my "junk" to kill people, I need that Are there actually any crazy junk items for killing people? I was thinking microscopes or something.
Repost:
Atom Bomb Baby is the one song that never comes on during exciting combat, and instead plays when I'm playing inventory shuffle at my home settlement
Amazing how disappointing the combat zone is. Remember that Straight-from-mad-max-3 scene from the trailer? Yeah fuck you, you don't get to be a part of any of that.
I was really disappointed in that area too.
One guy briefly mentions the Mojave and apparently there's dialogue about the NCR, but nothing directly about Vegas or the game events . Maybe people will finally stop listening to rumors and thinking game studios act like 12 years olds on the internet???
Going apeshit with the furiou's powerfist on it and punching everyone to death was pretty fun, but I'd like if after some ingame days it would be back with a friendlyer audience and you could compete in it. Personally, what would be more interesting to me is how these people got to the Commonwealth in the first place. Unless these communities lived in total isolation for 8 generations, their accents should not have remained. Breaking muh realism over here Bethesda.
Frankly, I'm surprised the English language hasn't deteriorated over the past 200 years or so. You would have expected two centuries without education and a constant land of strife to affect people's overall intelligence.
Raiders.

They far outnumber the remnants of intelligent, civilized society. Think about how many of them you kill to every one passive NPC you meet, it's probably like 5:1

Illiteracy would have set in by now. Then again, people may have learned how to read since it could lead to valuable pre-war salvage. Learning how to read the names of buildings would help immensely.
