double projectile is better in every way tho it's basically double damage I don't get why some of them have downsides, like the one for more vats accuracy on first shot...makes that shot cost more ap doesn't make any fucking sense, why does it need a downside when 2x the damage is way better
Two shot mod is like, 50% more damage. I think Instigating (double damage against full health targets) is the best mod since that actually makes you do double damage.
Can you get the twoshot mod on melee weapons? Also the instigating mod is only good if you can kill them in one shot, after that the twoshot gets ahead, something to remember in vanilla survival :v:
that just wastes ammo at lower levels
Double shot uses one bullet.
that just wastes ammo at lower levels
it actually increases ammo output 1 ammo = 2 projectiles it makes killing a lot less expensive, really nice for rarer ammo types like plasma/.44 My favorite melee weapon is still the wrench, it just feels so nice early on. There's a spawn with a 20% chance to cripple wrench, thing is fun as shit. Sucks most melee weapons don't scale into late game. You are pretty much forced to use super sledge(if full melee)/ripper(with maxed out mods its amazing)/chinese sword
Just managed to make my game go from 20fps to 60 constant by changing it from Fullscreen to Borderless Window, are you shitting me :v:

God damn, the metal construction set in the workshop is fucking terrible It's impossible to combine sets if you're using anything than just plain walls
what's the point of the tiny little square hole in a bunch of the roofs?

I love double shot
Seriously. The combat zone is just so much wasted potential it's infuriating. Did seriously no one at the Bethesda office stand up and just say "hey, why not do something more with this than just a shooting gallery?".
surely we should have gotten cait by beating her in a cage match or something
surely we should have gotten cait by beating her in a cage match or something
Nope it's just hey asshole you killed my cleintele why don't you just take this lass with you
What BOS rank is that on your arm?
Sentinel, you get it after completing the main quest.
Combat Zone had so much potential it really is infuriating, you even walk in and they mistake you for a fucking fighter iirc. I got so psyched at the thought of being able to bet/win caps for fist-fighting raiders but nope
Just managed to make my game go from 20fps to 60 constant by changing it from Fullscreen to Borderless Window, are you shitting me :v:
If you're on AMD, the game turns into 20 fps if you have freesync on.
Nope it's just hey asshole you killed my cleintele why don't you just take this lass with you
To be honest if those two were just random hostile NPCs like the rest of the people in the combat zone, that would've made more sense
You know, despite all of the wasted potential Bethesda finally got something they usually get very wrong, right- at least for one faction. At the end of the BOS quest line you are [sp] NOT the leader of the brotherhood, you are a high ranking solider that many look up to, but you aren't told by the game that you are calling the shots only to still get ordered around by everyone. shame about the institute tho.[/sp]

Unarmed is so restricted anyway, there's only like four or five unarmed weapons.
Yeah, I wanted to fistfight power armor wielding raiders to the ground but nope. don't worry someone will undoubtedly make a redone combat zone mod as much as it sucks waiting for mods will solve a lot of beth's mistakes, as usual
what's the point of the tiny little square hole in a bunch of the roofs?
to piss me off I wanted to make a dungeon for all the dead bodies in the town, instead of deleting them via console. I put a bed in the hidden bookcase dungeon and made it a creepy hidden diner with ghouls and raiders "eating" at tables (dead bodies posed) and I put a bed in it just to see who the fuck moves in The hidden room is visible through the walls, thanks to the holes in everything. Really removes the suspense.
Apparently some of the stuff you find laying in the streets is randomized. I was at Sanctuary, FT'd to Lynn Pier Parking, started heading towards Gibson Point Pier along the road, and saw a gored brahmin, the one that's a static body with it's ribs sticking out. At first I thought there was going to be flies or mosquitoes, but I get on top of it and it was a damn ploy! A good 6 or 7 mines start furiously beeping, I was out of AP from sprinting, so I could only jog away - the blast killed me needless to say. Load at Sanctuary, FT back fully prepared to disarm some mines, but I come down the street to where it is, and there's no brahmin? Instead what is there, is a craterish looking pile of dirt, like a really lame volcano type crater, with a master level locked safe in it.

Finding like 2-3 of them on a brahmin's body is realllly neat. I rarely see stingwings for some reason, but when I do they are high level and kill me through power armor if I don't use vats to kill them.
Woo, no more shitty interior fog. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2428/?
Tbh i kind of like the fog, adds a lot of depth/atmosphere that otherwise wouldn't be there No fog doesn't really work when the scale of the game world tries to convey a large scale but isn't 1:1 accurate to real life like it is in something like ArmA

You can find the interior version of the mod under the optional section, thing.

Is the hidden bookcase I keep seeing from a mod? If not, how do I unlock it?
There are plenty of ways to go to Vegas, with variable dangers (Deathclaws, a single blind deathclaw, cazadores, raiders or just giant radscorpions). People complaining about it being too linear and the game forcing you to take the same route everytime seriously need to git gud. First time you go as they want, second time you're more familiar with the game and the layout of the Mojave and try fun stuff
Just want to mention that there are actually only like 3 ways to Vegas, 1 North of goodsprings, 1 north of sloan, and the normal way the game wants you to take, past Boulder City. The blind deathclaw, as I've mentioned in a previous rant, has one point of perception more than the average deathclaw, and is most considerably not blind gameplay-wise. And it's only in your way if you quickly want to go from the West side of the map to the East side of the map. It is not really a part of a route to vegas. And the radscorps are not really in your way. They're only around that border of the quarry on the Goodsprings side, and are not on any path towards vegas, unless if you suck at navigating the north goodsprings road IE not staying on it.
