Settlers want me to take out a super mutant camp, they are under constant threat and can't function apparently. I go and kill a single super mutant in a room called dead eye and he is fucking blind with bandages around his eyes holding a plank. "Quest Complete" Truly a menace to the commonwealth.
I'm trying to create Jacket from Hotline Miami, based of PAYDAY's 2 model, and I need advice What I have so far: [t]http://i.imgur.com/VznLVNr.jpg[/t] Reference [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/576821369001516812/2014AE34B89F45376E0076CE4485E66B7459530B/[/t] This is really hard
you need to actually sculpt the face??? since it just looks like generic face 01 like every other character posted here
you need to actually sculpt the face??? since it just looks like generic face 01 like every other character posted here
Yeah I've been trying but I really suck at it. One big problem is that I don't know have to make his lower face rounder.

[editline]29th November 2015[/editline] God fucking damn they really needed to make Ballistic weave a thing you could do earlier. I wasn't even aware of it's existence, I'd console command that at the start if I did. level 49 before I actually truly like how I look lol [editline]29th November 2015[/editline] Speaking of, I'm 49 and about to start Mass fusion/Spoils of War, relatively average on the sidequests. Is there still enough content for me?

so i've tried to use the console to give myself some articles of clothing that cannot normally be obtained, and when i check my inventory, they don't appear, but the weight changes and i still see a notification in the top left corner saying it was added. is there a fix around this? for those wondering the items are lorenzo's crown, squire's uniform and synth uniform.
I'd try to restart the game. This has happened to me before but it fixed itself.
Yeah I've been trying but I really suck at it.
I'd try to restart the game. This has happened to me before but it fixed itself.
i've restarted the game several times today and still nothing.
So while I'm still quite jealous of the explosive shotguns and miniguns and stuff, I'm starting to realize an explosive sniper is pretty much the best possible thing for how I play. Just rescued Nick, and every enemy between crafting the rifle and that point died to a headshot, died to a chest shot (and lost their head and arms in the process), or didn't die but the splash crippled all of their limbs simultaneously and neutered them as a threat. As long as nothing sees me, nothing can stop me. YES.
When you have no more quests left, it's quite difficult to romance everyone...

It's amazing how far they've come from Oblivion, but man is that an odd issue to have.
Yeah, it's so difficult to make an unattractive male character.
yeah, in least in terms of the stereotypically attractive features like the strong jaw but it doesn't help that payday 2's model is just plain weird
Yeah, I guess that's what I mean. "Real American Hero™" [editline]29th November 2015[/editline] (jaws are so important though it's ridiculous)
I have not once used the assault rifle.
At around level 42 I've gotten around to replacing my combat rifle with it because 5.56 is getting common now. Put a suppressor, recon scope and drum on it and renamed it "light machine gun" so the nomenclature bugs me less :v:
The Assault Rifle is pretty viable for a Semi-Auto Rifleman option. The deep drum and low recoil makes for a nice spammy experience

i'm realizing more and more that my outposts are more slave camps. completely surrounded by walls with the only ways out always being heavily guarded, massive multistory buildings with the entire floorspace being taken up by sleeping bags. i've got 160 beds in sanctuary and that is just one tower
Yeah I've been trying but I really suck at it. Changing Jaw middle will help make it round.
Which leads to the great problem of the games being so open ended mechanically but being so stiff and limiting in their quests, characterizations and writing
Which I don't think is much of an issue because in the end you can just outright ignore parts you don't like, and still have a large amount of content to back it up nonetheless. The writing isn't the best but it doesn't have to be. The writing in Fallout 1 and 2 games weren't fantastic either, but the games were still enjoyable thanks to the freedom they offered. Besides, there's the now pretty apparent and recurrent effect that games like New Vegas have highlighted: Bethesda, having to work on the technical and gameplay aspect and having to spend so much time working on the world design and the assets to go along with it, simply can't afford the time to write a compelling storyline that would cover that much content and still release the game within an acceptable amount of time. Obsidian pretty much had half the job done when they were handed the licence for a game. They had an entire game's worth of assets, sound effects, weapons, enemies and armor and most importantly already had the whole engine ready for them, so they had the time to focus on writing that Bethesda didn't have. Fallout 4 shows the same situation. When so much time is spent working on the world design, the assets, the widely updated engine and all those things, you don't have time to work on writing unless you want the game to come out two years further down the line where it'd be even more outdated visually speaking. Hell, even Fallout 2 showed the same thing, since the engine and system and previous assets were there, they just worked further upon that and added a lot more armor, items and (albeit lazily designed) weapons with a much stronger on quest variety and such.
I can build a settlement on that forehead.
I literally could not figure out how to shorten it like Crossu's
I think in all my fallout I've not once used a mini nuke until earlier when I decided to kill a mirelurk queen from low orbit. fuck those things
I literally could not figure out how to shorten it like Crossu's
The hair you chose had a hairline that was far back anyway.
Well, so far, i've enjoyed Fallout 4 vanilla way more than FNV (and F3) vanilla. The combat is just way more fun. Sure, the RPG mechanics are a tad dumbed-down, but in FNV I ended up dreading enemies. Not because they could kill me, but because the combat was horrible. My gun would end up not firing for some reason, then the sounds would fuck up on automatic weapons. I'd press V for VATS and the game would take like 3 seconds for it to pop up. I could shoot someone right in the face and the game would say 'No, your gun skill is not high enough! No kill for you!'. It was just generally unfun. FO4 on the other hand feels like a well-rounded FPS, which is a good thing despite what many purists here claim. Absolutely psyched for mods. It will be interesting to see what kind of weapons will be added.

No it's not that hard. And if they really can't be bothered to find a better writer than their old buddy that they don't want to let go for gratitude or whatever, they have the money to hire someone else to take care of it. It's not okay to say WELP THEY CAN'T DO GOOD QUESTS BUT THAT'S NOT AN ISSUE. It is. Fallout 4 is a fun game, i played it a lot and i will play it a lot more when mods come out. But it could be better. You act like it's impossible to have a good game with a good story. It isn't. Fallout 1 proved it (yes, the writing is good in that one, it was the one that stablished all the things that make Fallout "fallout" today - what the hell are you talking about?)
Come on we had good games with a good story even 20 years ago, even Morrowind was better written or at least had more dialogue.
