Wait, I got (encounter spoilers) [sp] the enconter with the UFO, and I found the wreckage. But it was just that; a wreckage. No loot or enemies anywhere. Am I missing something or is it just a neat little easter egg? [/sp]

[/sp]
[sp]there is a small green blood trail leading to a cave, inside is a wounded alien, kill it and you can loot the alien blaster from it.[/sp]] To clarify, approach the rear of the [sp]ufo[/sp], look directly north and keep walking, you'll see the cave in the rocks.
Just managed to make my game go from 20fps to 60 constant by changing it from Fullscreen to Borderless Window, are you shitting me :v:
Wow this actually helped me a ton, thanks!
Arrrghh! The mother deathclaw in F1 is such a bitch to kill, especially as I have no one to help me... [t]http://i.imgur.com/oGhwzj0.png[/t] [sp]dogmeat died by rocket inside[/sp]
Going through the diamond city entry again as a new character Neat. Nice detail
Goodneighbor too [t]http://i.imgur.com/GSnfoIX.jpg[/t]
hi guys, ive been avoiding this thread like the plague until I get the game. But I wanted to stop in quick to show you this: it deserves more views.
Deathclaws become such a joke. I've never had a hard time fighting one.
So I just found that you can induce a bug that bugs the fuck out of weapon damage for the duration of your current session. It seems that if you use a lot of psycho and other chems it has a large chance to massively fuck up the damage of some of your other weapons. I ended up having a LEAD PIPE that did 200 damage a hit with no mods and something like 270 with mods. [editline]29th November 2015[/editline] I've narrowed down the cause to either be something about fast travelling under the effects of psycho or some weird bug with addiction
One problem that I have that's shared between all modern Fallout games, (Yes NV included) is the reversed difficulty curve. In most games you expect an okay introduction period and then an upward climb in difficulty, but for Fallout 3 and up I noticed that it's backwards. You have a hard time at the start while resources are scarce, and then as you play longer you acquire more and more resources, gear, and skills to the point by level 49 you're a complete badass where nothing can harm you at all. I can't tell if this is necessarily a bad thing. Does 3-4 shotting legendaries with your 4,000 cap Overseer's Guardian in your full X-01 set make you feel like you've at least earned that level of badassery? Or is it too cheap and now nothing can challenge you? I've ramped it up to Survival now, and I actually had a semi-challenging fight recently with a major super mutant camp. Both of my X-01 arms actually broke during the process and I ran low on ammo for my main gun. Was quite a bit a fun and I hope there's more tough shit like that.
Goodneighbor too [t]http://i.imgur.com/GSnfoIX.jpg[/t]
I actually wish they did this more, just have him appear in every place in the game until [sp] you go to the railroad[/sp]

Someone had that issue a few pages back.

Also VATS is still a crutch, albeit a fun one. Nothing gets the job done easier than running up close with a shotgun and then VATSing on their heads. I think one significant way to raise the difficulty would be do a playthrough where you either only use VATS, or never use it at all.

Or a ranged "Headbutt"

As is videogame tradition, a designer at Bethesda put a code puzzle in a random location. And the code is 0451.
When did they come out and how much do they cost? I won't be able to get near a gamestop for another 2 days.
No idea when they came out, but they're on eBay already for around $30.
God damn it slow Internet, I can't find a neat comparison between ALL power armor paints And not necessarily the rare ones, but also the default ones.
Everyone always talks about how much they they hate Preston or Mama Murphy, but Marcy Long is the the worst by a mile.
So I finally got to the Institute and I noticed [sp]if 60 years had passed between Shaun's kidnapping and waking up then how does Kellogg look exactly the same??[/sp]
I gave it a go too because why not. [t]http://i.imgur.com/mgcSHEL.jpg[/t] It's kind of fun to try to create other characters using sculpt.
I'm a bit late on the draw here, but he looks eerily like the talking head sprites from Hotline Miami. It's the eyes, I think.

Oh I don't know, how about the fact that I saved your dumb ass from a horde of raiders? If it wasn't for me you'd be a pile of gibs sitting in your own faeces.
Hmm? Oh, right, this shit; Stopped fucking around and decided to actually go to Diamond City. And fuck me do people in that place just keep talking. I could barely get a word in edgeways.
Augmented
If anyone knows, it's you.
