I don't need him to travel with me. He is programmed to like me from the get go.
You mean the synth guy? If so,there isnt any character exploration or progression with him?
My own rating has to be Fallout 1 > 4 > 3. I didn't like New Vegas or Fallout 2 so I can't really put them in any position because they're not games I especially enjoyed playing. Never bothered with Tactics or BOS. It all comes down to what you want to see in the game. I honestly don't care much about the story and only want some fun places to explore and some interesting scavenging, which Fallout 3 and 4 provide perfectly.
All I get from your posts is "I don't like RPG's, I wish Beth would remove all the RPG out of Fallout"
Alright, I get it, strong is bad, anymore sugestions appart from Codworth and Piper? I would like to hear everyones toughts on the matter.
Cait and MacCready are good if you have more of a mean-streak and you steal/kill/extort a lot Strong is alright but you basically need to be a good-hearted bruiser who doesn't use power armor if you want him to do anything but complain all the time. I swear he's the worst when he's in your settlement, though. "STRONG BORED." "TIRED OF WALKING. WANT TO DO MORE FIIIIGHTING" "HUMAN LOOK LIKE ROBOT.."
For some reason Mama Murphy never asked me to make the chair. Instead she actually works for a living.
If you never give her chems and get her to stop she'll act like a normal settler If you give her chems the first time she'll ask you to make the chair, if you convince her to stop afterwards she'll get off the chair but you can't assign her to do anything
All I get from your posts is "I don't like RPG's, I wish Beth would remove all the RPG out of Fallout"
The only missions there should be are radiant missions. I mean who cares about story.
X6, the synth companion, is actually pretty cool. The more he favors you, the more... human/emotional he becomes. pictured: x6 and i chillin

at max affinity, he told me: [sp] that he looked up to me/ saw me as his hero [/sp]
I can't believe I didn't figure out who MacCready was until he explained it to me.
Cait and MacCready are good if you have more of a mean-streak and you steal/kill/extort a lot Strong is alright but you basically need to be a good-hearted bruiser who doesn't use power armor if you want him to do anything but complain all the time. I've never had a fake gay video game husbando until Danse, literally digitally in love + his butt is rad And Curie? More like Cutie amirite. Piper, MacCready, and Dogmeat are my best friends. The rest can die I guess.
Well, now, to finish, I just need to know about those you have´t talked about, so if someone could speak up for Valentine, Hancock and Garvey , I would be glad.
That's because Strong is strongly shit.
I refuse to believe so. I only accept personal preference as the universal truth as to what is the best companion.
I could never romance Curie knowing everything I know about the game plot.
I could never romance Curie knowing everything I know about the game plot.
I don't have to know everything about the game plot to know what you're saying. (Because I've spent countless of hours just building up settlements, and dressing up settlers.) But thanks for the spoiler, fungus brain. (Oh and I was joking lol)
I like Hancock. He's your quintessential "Chaotic Good" companion. He wants you to show no mercy to bad guys, and is down with chems.
All I get from your posts is "I don't like RPG's, I wish Beth would remove all the RPG out of Fallout"
Bethesda games are pretty much the only RPGs I ever play because they're the only ones that offer what I'm looking for in an RPG, which is less grinding for arbitrary points on a long list of arbitrary values and more exploring a world as I see fit in whatever order I see fit. They're also some of the only RPGs that don't take fucking eons to actually start and just drop you off from the get-go. [editline]a[/editline] Which is something that was possible since fucking Morrowind and even before but the games before that had such a horrible looking flat world that there was no point to it.
Replaced an "arbitrary" system with an even more arbitrary system. I'm going to change your title to "arbitrary" because you have a huge boner for that word.
Well, now, to finish, I just need to know about those you have´t talked about, so if someone could speak up for Valentine, Hancock and Garvey , I would be glad.
Valentine is a rad detective. He can also open terminals up to expert I think. I tried one master and he had no luck. These days I have all Hacker perks so I don't need the ability, but he got me a complete set of T-51b with that ability so I love him for that. Hancock is probably the best ghoul in the series and fun to travel with, not quite as cool as Nick, but close I'd say. Gives you free chems so if you use them, or sell them, then hes got your back. Garvey is just terrible. I keep him away from my main settlement, where all the followers I have so far live. You can get Codsworth at the same time Garvey is a companion so there's literally no reason to ever take him along.
From what Iv'e gathered there's only like 6 truly unique weapons in Fallout 4. That's kinda lame. I know there's customization and whatnot, but id rather find cool unique weapons than make them.
I like Hancock. He's your quintessential "Chaotic Good" companion. This discussion makes me realize just how many companions there are, wow.
I could never romance Curie knowing everything I know about the game plot.
I'm a little confused, I beat the game and I don't feel bad romancing her at all.
I'm a little confused, I beat the game and I don't feel bad romancing her at all.
seriously dont click if you dont want them spoilers [sp]She's your granddaughter you sicko (your sons DNA is the base of all Gen 3 androids rip)[/sp]
I'm a little confused, I beat the game and I don't feel bad romancing her at all.
Since you beat the game this is more of recap rather than a spoiler, but [sp]All the gen 3 syths are built off of variations of your son's genetic structure, so they are sort of like genetic relatives[/sp]
anybody know if you could put unique modifiers on the wedding ring, like for when modding comes out you could make a ring that gives you god mode or something
Since you beat the game this is more of recap rather than a spoiler, but [sp]All the gen 3 syths are built off of variations of your son's genetic structure, so they are sort of like genetic relatives[/sp]
They can't get pregnant so its alright.
Hancock is seems the most similar to the player behind the screen. This discussion makes me realize just how many companions there are, wow.
Hancock's introduction reminded me of my own 'talk shit get hit... with a super sledge' play style.
I removed her essential tag and blew her head off with a .44. Then threw her body in the ravine behind Sanctuary. She's fine.
I threw mama's corpse into the river after[sp] she o.d [/sp]and every other settler ran down into the water and followed her body down as it floated with the current.
Well, you have all been very useful, I now know that I should go trough with all companions except Strong, Dogmeat and Preston, thanks to all of you! Last question, is it possible to do all of the companion quests, or depending on the choices in the story you make you get locked out of some?
I threw mama's corpse into the river after[sp] she o.d [/sp]and every other settler ran down into the water and followed her body down as it floated with the current.
I now regret convincing her to give up chems.
