Becoming an enemy of the brotherhood, railroad, or institute locks you out of their respected companion.
And is it possible not to become an anemy of any of the factions during your game?
MacReady doesn't like it when you attack someone unprovoked though.
That was more meant for cait, she likes unprovoked violence and direct solutions.
There's about 2-3 moralistic difference between them, but by and large they are both the "devil may care" companions who won't frequently object to any of the more dodgy things you do.
Since you beat the game this is more of recap rather than a spoiler, but
[sp]All the gen 3 syths are built off of variations of your son's genetic structure, so they are sort of like genetic relatives[/sp]
is that really a problem when they are assembled anyways? they used his pure genes to design them but they never state that is his genetic material exactly that let them build them, also the genetic material of the subjects they replace has to match otherwise someone like the brotherhood could easily just do DNA testing to determine who's a synth or not

Does anyone like any of these iterations for a Railroad skin set?
And is it possible not to become an anemy of any of the factions during your game?
At one point you are going to piss someone off. So no.
Well, you have all been very useful, I now know that I should go trough with all companions except Strong, Dogmeat and Preston, thanks to all of you!
Dogmeat is a bad companion? I thought people agreed that he was really good.
[editline]29th November 2015[/editline]
Is it because you can't romance Dogmeat?
I was tired of Strong's constant bitching on Sanctuary so I got local leader and sent him on a trade route to the slog so he does something useful atleast.
can anyone answer this question
[sp]was danse always a synth or was he replaced sometime after arriving in the commonwealth, or was he replaced sometime after you joined the brotherhood. and what happened to the original, does the institute just kill them?[/sp]

Its just that I prefer someone who can peak their mind up and isnt necesarily okay with everything you do all the time.

This minigun is good for stress relief too.
Dogmeat's not much of an actual character like Curie or Piper. Probably because he's a dog, but you know, still.

Power armour is even less thematical and likely for the railroad to use than it is for the Minutemen
They're cobbled together agents who are the sort that 95% of the time work covertly and without drawing much attention, doesn't make sense for them to use it
But in the event they did have PA, since they don't really have a colour scheme I'd say the only thing that would really fit would be something slightly rusty but also like it has seen some maintainence, probably without much to identify the user or any bright colours. I think the best colour design there is the T-51, I don't like the very flat colour schemes of either the X-O1 or the T-45

can you put them in some more natural light? I feel like it could do with being a bit more brown, but it could be the lighting.

I just use Dogmeat as my item duplication machine.

blah blah blah mods.
I get extremely bad stuttering and hitching in some indoor areas despite reported fps staying stable, any possible fix? I almost feel like the dynamic indoor lights have something to do with it.
Also, your toughts on mixing power armor pieces? I know that at the beggining is all you can do, but in the late game, I would like to wear the X2 with a T-45 or T-51 helmet, does it make that much of a difference?
Trying to decide between Unarmed or Melee.
Unarmed has more animations, but Melee has better weapons.
I may be super late, but I just figured out that you can drop down into Goodneighbor and you will go though a loading screen. That kinda neat

MGSV made me forget what a bad port looks like

Why not both?

Having a complete set means you'll probably have the same armour rating all round, anyway I think that non of the power armour sets mix well.
This game is very pretty. And it runs surprisingly smoothly even on my 10 year old crapbox, managed to get everything on max (except god rays cos they just don't work on my system). System requirements be damned!
Turns out Ii was being far too optimistic, frame rate is reduced to a slideshow as soon as I approach the outskirts of the big city. My solution is to do side quests round the edge of the map until my 970 arrives. Problem solved

Melee. Big Leagues 4 lets you hit multiple enemies, and also the 2076 Bat exists.
I figured out the Jetpack used both Fusion Core power and Action Points. I thought I was doing something wrong when I could only double jump.

Ah, [sp]well that doesn't really bother me, I mean the Synths I imagine are fairly far away genetically from Shaun since they don't all look identical, so I imagine it'd be fine. Plus a lot of people are genetically related in a distant way, and just because Curie's body has a genetic link doesn't mean her AI or "soul" is.[/sp]
Don't know if I'm ironically, late.

The reason for this are some smoke particles, for some reason old tech games have this problem where you walk up right into particles and it shits on your frames.

I keep saying this, but you could totally make it as a professional YouTuber. 'Course, it'd be a hell of a lot of work, but I think yours is the only Fallout playthrough on YouTube I've actually enjoyed - You just need to get in the habit of releasing a video every other day.
And is it possible not to become an anemy of any of the factions during your game?
Nope, no matter which faction you side with you're going to piss off two factions by the end of the game I think.
[sp]The minutemen and Railroad both fuck up the Brotherhood and the Institute, the Brotherhood fucks the Railroad and the Institute, and the Instutute fucks the Brotherhood and the Railroad.[/sp]
