I actually did a console command to reverse Travis' voice back to awkward. It's much more entertaining.

did someone say b-ball
It seems to me that the lighting options for settlements fucking suck. Nearly all of the light options provide basically no illumination, just one tiny sphere of light around them that cuts off way too sharply; it looks unrealistic and impractical as hell. The only thing that seems to actually light up an area is that ugly-ass incandescent bulb that hangs from the ceiling, whereas all of the aesthetically pleasing options are more like a piece of furniture than a light.
I guess I'm bitching because I wanted to ask if I'm wrong; is there some kind of lighting meta I'm missing? So far I've just been ignoring the appearance at night and building during the day.
The ceiling fan and industrial wall light are also good, the rest suck and might as well not even be there.

Charles, B-ball has been banned since the chaos dunk.
Most of the sidequests have fully written intros and outros but the actual core of the quest is usually "go to this radiant location to kill these radiant enemies for the radiant loot".
One page ago you said it's more about solving side quests on the spot instead of back and forths, make up your mind. Still, quests where you go to locations, kill enemies and get loot is generally the gist of this series since Fallout 3. It's the gist of most RPGs really, not really a bad thing when the gameplay is fun. Still, Fallout 4 has plenty that don't fit that formula and having done the majority of side quests I'm quite content with the balance.
I really want to see some more [sp]unique power armor, like the Piezonucleic Chest Piece. Maybe some cool unique sets?[/sp]
Anyone have screenshots of something cool done with the [sp]castle[/sp]? I'm trying to build mine up but having problems with it. I know someone did post pics last thread I think.
Ending spoilers [sp] Well the institute ending can fuck off, it's the least climatic ending I've seen in any game, at least with Railroad you nuke the place. [/sp]
[sp]The Institute ending doesn't even feel like an ending.[/sp]
[sp]The Institute ending doesn't even feel like an ending.[/sp]
It leaves a lot to contemplate.

Fucking hell this game can get intense.

[sp]If you had the option to smother your shitty kid with a pillow instead of having that conversation it would've been a little bit satisfying at least.[/sp]

Is that a low difficulty or were you just on tons of drugs that raise your DR?
Oh jesus I got tired of not being able to do anything in Fallout 4 because game breaking bug so I instead reinstalled FONV and got all them mods and so on.
Oh god Fallout 4, apart from the Obsidian-touch, is just so much better.
Is there any fix for textures randomly downscaling? It gets really irritating when you go talk to someone and they're armor looks like muddled shit cus for some reason the game decides it'd be a good idea not to update the lod when you get closer

I was on bufftats and psycho. I use chems a lot more with this character because I have the perk that makes me immune to chem addiction.

As of right now, no. Just waiting on a patch that hopefully fixes that.

ENB has helped with that for me.
Just have the binaries installed and setup your vram values accordingly.

This guy fortified it like hell and used a cool method to patch up the walls, might be a good guide if you want to clone what he did

Edit: apparently he didn't show the method in this video, but its not hard to find on youtube
is there any way to get materials from a workshop to the workshop inside the diamond city house, I've got all my materials in Sanctuary and I run supply routes to places further south, but I don't have an option to put stuff into the house, and I'd hate to have to physically move stuff over from workshop to workshop since that's a pain in the ass
So I was on one of the highways and some Gunners started attacking me and then out of fucking nowhere some death ray hit me and I died instantly. What the fuck was that? I wish I recorded it but it wasn't a laser weapon unless there's one that's just 1 continuous beam.

Put out a quick set of new textures for the double barrel shotgun while waiting for the mod tools so I can implement actual new weapons.

i was really annoyed that the quartz lights are worse than the damn incandescent bulb, i use them all the time for home repair stuff and you can suntan with those things they're so bright
So when you shoot a synth's arms off and it tries to smack you with what's left of its arms, it seems to do electric/energy damage.
It's fucking cool how they thought that through.
