Wait a second. I heard some spoilers, but they're completely different from what happened in my game.
[sp]the spoiler said that you either kill your son or blow up/destroy boston, but that didn't happen in my game. I didn't kill shaun, killed the railroad, killed the bos, then he died and I became director. am I being trolled, or did something in my game go horribly right?[/sp]
[sp]That's the Institute ending.[/sp]
Since when has 20-30 fps been unplayable. I've put nearly a 140 hours into FO4 at that sort of framerate, sometimes around 15 fps. 15 I'd say is borderline unplayable. 20-24 I'd say is playable, 25+ is to me a massive bonus.
45 FPS minimum or bust.
Eh, maybe I'm just used to having a low end rig and having low framerates. :v:
Tvtropes claims that it's Canon the NCR wins the Mojave
Is this bullshit or not because holy Fuck I can't get behind that
Is facepunch fucking up for anyone else? Constantly switching between Working, partially connecting but not displaying the site right, and just straight out refuses to work?

It's b.s. but still likely to be true, since the West Coast plotline has been tending to center around the NCR.

Same, after I beat the game I reviewed all the different endings and got what you got

I don't think I had heard of the NCR except from [sp] the mind of a particular cereal brand [/sp]

And even then, they're not talking about FNV at all; [sp]the radio says the NCR has just been founded, Kellogg lived there loooooooong before New Vegas was even a thing. That's pre-Fallout 2, even.[/sp]
I wish the glowing sea was more lethal radiation wise, in most parts of the area you get <1 rads, and its only when your in the water do you start to get rads. I wish they bumped up the rads in the area from <1 to more in the range of 10, and the water to more in the range of 80-100 rads, it would really make the area feel much more lethal and dead, and it would require much more preparation than just hopping into a power armor suit and trotting in.
i actually just trotted around in my normal armor lol

I was intent on finding some kind of radiation challenge in the game and it was still pretty mild.
Does any one know the levels required for the Cambridge Labs quest to spawn a T-51b Piezonucleic power armor chest piece? Because despite being level 35 I'm still getting T-45. :unimpressed:
How do you start stuff like "In Sheep's Clothing" and the final mission for The Minutemen?
Is it specifically post-ending? Did I miss something along the way?
someone was confused about the battle for hoover dam mentioning in FO4, where the guy talks about the "second battle" of hoover dam.
iirc you participate in the second battle of hoover dam in NV, the first battle was the initial takeover by the NCR thats mentioned in the prologue cutscene of NV
that said, if the NCR ending is canon, aren't they really fucking powerful then? they have the hoover dam as a jumping point now.
can someone explain to me why there seem to be 3 variants of combat armor even though there's only two distinctly named variants

Might be similar to the black suit in NV, but instead of fucking up the textures, they fucked up the name.

Each one of the layered armours have a normal, sturdy and heavy variant. The reason why only 2 are named is because [del]Bethesda[/del] it just works

They'd still have to deal with the problem of managing all that territory. Plus, it sounds like there's still problems back in the heartlands. NCR still has raider tribes and the like within their territory, causing trouble; plus the brahmin ranches manipulating corrupt politicians to their own ends.
I can't wait for a signature weapons and armor mod for Fallout 4, like holy shit I want to look like a badass but I have to wear white combat armor that looks like a cheap stormtrooper halloween costume or synth armor that looks like it was made from toilet bowls just so I can survive.
There's a couple mods that allow you to add ballistic weaves to damn near anything. You could easily pair an outfit and hat together.

Each of the armour sets (Leather, Metal, Combat, Raider and Synth) in the game have 3 variants, there's the normal one, sturdy and heavy. You can tell if it's just a normal set by the fact that it doesn't have sturdy or heavy in the name.
Didn't realise that (Small very early game spoiler)[sp]If you convince Trudy to pay the Chem Dealer, the Chem Dealer sits outside Trudys diner and sells chem forever.[/sp]
Like I knew NV wpildnt be referenced but NCR is literally the worst faction

Yeah much worse than the faction that rapes and enslaves and murders everything it sees.

Hm...
[t]http://puu.sh/lEiLA.jpg[/t]
This is the medium one. Must be something funky with the legendary naming system, or, yeah, sturdy combat armor just isn't named.
Naw it has a name, just the attributes just override the names.
I upgraded my heavy combat armor to be deep pocketed and now the "heavy" is gone
oh okay...

what the fuck
[t]http://i.imgur.com/JMoRVq0.png[/t]
Interestingly, all of the different variants of the armour are actually the same item, but they use a combination of the mod system and armour addons to split them all up.
I believe that's part of why the Legendary effects and the actual armour mods remove the Sturdy/Heavy prefix for all of them, along with the fact that the mod prefixes seem to have a higher priority than the the Sturdy/Heavy ones. The same applies with the Short prefix (and probably a few more) for weapons, too.

Nope, mod prefixes override the sturdy/heavy prefixes, you can generally still tell by the stats/value which one it is though.

Yeah turns out mine is glitched, and despite the fact i've never been there, it comes out as T-60 and then deposits the Armour as T-45 for some reason, so I just consoled the attribute onto a T-51 chest piece.
It doesn't have the unique name, but eh it's pretty much the same thing now.
