[sp]The specific strain that the Commonwealth mutants are also infected with.[/sp]
[sp] Doubt the cure would really save a majority of the super mutants in Boston anyway, since they're almost brain dead after transforming and I doubt the cure would fix that. [/sp]
I wouldn't be surprised if we returned to the NCR for one reason or another. I mean Bethesda did go through all the trouble of modelling the Golden Gate Bridge. Also I'd love a DLC with the crew of the USS constitution. I was disappointed that you couldn't fight the Prydwen in a massive airship duel.
a pack of wild Vertibirds would probably nonchalantly crash in the constitution before it even could fight the Prydwen in this scenario, sadly. Unless you build a freedom death laser on their ship ofcourse.
[sp]The specific strain that the Commonwealth mutants are also infected with.[/sp]
[sp]He contracted a substrain didn't he? That's why it's taking so long to overtake him, it's very very weak. That and the other mutants are significantly too far gone for any sort of remedy to completely fix them. They'd be traumatized and brain damaged the rest of their lives.[/sp]

[/sp]
Not entirely sure about it being a substrain , but you are both correct in saying they are too far gone. [sp]An evil thought, but it would make for quite the anti-mutant biological weapon if somehow replicated and dispersed in the air.[/sp] :v:
Moving on, when's Obsidian gonna make the next Fallout set in New Jersey? There's a shit ton of stuff they could do here, I imagine. Walking through Newark and helping raiders take over a massive shipment of heroin from the Port, enjoying the sunshine in Camden, heading to Paterson and deciding to help to steel-workers on strike or side with the owners, etc..
Walking through Hoboken to find it's still pretty much the same.
Is there an option to build Mama Murphy's chair specifically? Or do you just have to get lucky?
If you give her jet, she'll ask you to build the chair.
If you save the real Art it makes sense, the Institute just really hates that guy in particular, but if you kill the real Art it doesn't.
i didn't find a synth part in the first Art I killed then i got it again :v:
i never want to see a sunset sarsaparilla again after collecting all those bottle tops for that fucking cowboy robot
Which cowboy robot again?
[sp]Actually he only cured his very specific strain of FEV, not FEV as a whole I mean that doesn't mean he can't do it but it took him years to even create just that 1 antidote for only his FEV strain[/sp]
The fuck are you guys talking about. There's always been a cure for the FEV. It worked wonders in Washington. :v: [t]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/9/9a/Modified_FEV_Raven_Rock.png/revision/latest?cb=20150118164912[/t]
What is it with Fallout:NV HH being so empty at the end? I came back at one point and I couldn't believe how barren it was, it was almost as if they just abandoned everything they fought for, what's with that?
If you took the Daniel route that's kind of the point.
Which cowboy robot again?
Festus I don't know why he is complaining though, you just need 50 bottlecaps, you can get them pretty easily, there are more than 100 scattered around and you just need to bust some sunsets now and then. Hell Tomas and Jaclyn alone can have 10 bottlecaps if you get lucky. Malcolm Holmes walks around with a fair number too. There you go, almost 1/3 of the goal reached and you barely left goodsprings
Apparently the USS Constitution is an awesome quest, I should get around to doing it. The whole Silver Shroud thing was one of my other favorites so far
I have yet to find a single shishkebab in fo4

Also holy shit was their plan stupid. Did they not know it would kill anything born outside a vault after the bombs dropped? Including themselves?
If you took the Daniel route that's kind of the point.
I went the [sp] Joshua Graham [/sp] rout, same result.
I have yet to find a single shishkebab in fo4
[sp]There's only a single one, at Saugus Ironworks. It's a unique weapon.[/sp]
I went the [sp] Joshua Graham [/sp] rout, same result.
I never tried going back to Honest Hearts after beating it but it's not like they can just drop white legs as enemies around when they get slaughtered or retreat in both outcomes. I guess they never expected people to go back, it's not like HH has something like the Sink to keep your interest around. None of the DLCs spawn enemies again after beating them as far as i can remember (i'm pretty sure that at least HH and OWB don't)
Left Cait behind, now it's just me and Hancock poppin chems and kickin up shit I oughta start a new game.
If you miss some Survivalist gear during the DLC's main quest, it suuuuucks trudging along the canyons, looking for caves while literally nothing happens because nothing spawns anymore.
I cared more about searching the survivalist logs than doing shit for Daniel so i never missed it but it really must suck. HH is pretty but walking around without conflict is boring. I remember the Nexus having some mods that added respawns to OWB and HH though.
theres a mod to make the pipboy/headlamp lights cast shadows feels so fucking great, and adds to the atmospshere when traversing the wasteland at night
Every video I've seen of this shows massive artifacting in the shadows Is that not the case?
If only every side quest was like The Silver Shroud and the USS Constitution. The game would be a lot more interesting.
If only every side quest was like The Silver Shroud and the USS Constitution. The game would be a lot more interesting.
The Polymer Labs quest is pretty good too.
Every video I've seen of this shows massive artifacting in the shadows Is that not the case?
Not completely sure what you mean, but the spotlight shadows look A+. Pip-Boy light is a bit iffy, since it's only on one side of you and occasionally clipping inside your body, but it's optional.
[sp]There's only a single one, at Saugus Ironworks. It's a unique weapon.[/sp]
someone in this thread got a legendary drop of one off an enemy confirming that it can drop that way also (with fire damage added no less). Pretty fucking rare tho
Bay Area fallout game: start in Oakland, the bay bridge is covered in raider and NCR camps, constant battle, San Jose is a crater full of deathclaws, so it's bridge or that, transamerica building NCR hq?
Just rip off the labels and stick on your own Quantum ones from official game art. It'd look closer than the ones they had anyway :v Then for bonus points you make a crate with LEDs at the bottom to give it the glow like this fella did [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/JZhX2AA.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/iN4emc6.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/PWGh82K.jpg[/thumb] http://imgur.com/gallery/4PeSW
IIRC Tonic Water glows in the dark under UV Would be much better to use IMO
A game set in the not oft mentioned Texas Commonwealth could be cool. Central locations to the plot would include Houston, Austin and Dallas, and the crux of the story would be an extended conflict over control of Alamo City (build in the ruins of San Antonio, and unknowingly built over Vault-Tec's primary R&D lab) Major parties include the New Texas Militia (formed from one of the last remaining branches of the US army after the great war) who are the current ruling party, the NCR trying to expand their turf east, the Brotherhood who want something big hidden deep beneath Alamo City and are willing to raze the whole thing just to find it, and a severely weakened Legion under new rule.
