A game set in the not oft mentioned Texas Commonwealth could be cool. Central locations to the plot would include Houston, Austin and Dallas, and the crux of the story would be an extended conflict over control of Alamo City (build in the ruins of San Antonio)
I hope obsidian gets a crack at another game, and yeah texas would be a good location for it. They would just need to nuke the shit out of all Fallout: BoS lore on the subject.
question if i leave a companion whom i've reached maximum friendliness with, and in this case she is also mah waifu, i know i lose the companion perk but does she like make me want to kill myself or can i just instantly start macking on another one?
About Sturges [sp]people have been discovering him as a synth, i'm legit curious about this[/sp]
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if there are a ton of undercovers in the game, just waiting to be discovered, so far iirc [sp]paladin danse, Mayor Mcdonough and sturges are synths, though it confused me because danse aggroed on me when I sided with the institute [/sp], and I'm thinking of checking out [sp]that girl who runs the general store in diamond city, because she is def hiding something [/sp]

Man, i can't wait for the F4 hardcore mods. Playing through TTW again with hard hardcore settings and mods and damn i can barely survive. Having to eat radroaches (and sometimes ghoul flesh) and drink from toilets to keep myself from dying of starvation, having to constantly pay doctors to heal my rads because they hit hard now and to heal my limbs before they get infected and barely managing to scavenge some raider campo to get enough gear to maybe trade for a bunch of bullets because merchants are merciless now, that kind of fun stuff. Basically some wasteland bear grylls but without the "alright that's enough take me to the hotel now" card.
I hope obsidian gets a crack at another game, and yeah texas would be a good location for it. No one even remember that BoS existed, let alone that it had some (shitty) lore
You don't lose the perk.
well it's time my character went quadsexual then
question if i leave a companion whom i've reached maximum friendliness with, and in this case she is also mah waifu, i know i lose the companion perk but does she like make me want to kill myself or can i just instantly start macking on another one?
I'm currently swinging between Cait, Piper, and Curie. They don't get mad unless you flirt with someone while they're nearby.
well it's time my character went quadsexual then
i don't think this is the term you are looking for :v:
i don't think this is the term you are looking for
oh, i don't assign genders to super mutants or ghouls. but i guess the right word would be pansexual.
So it seems like most of the post-Minutemen ending Railraod quests act as if you've done the Railraod ending. What are the chances of this being a bug or just Bethesda being lazy? The main glaring issues are[sp]Everyone in the Railroad thinking Glory is dead when she is right next to them[/sp]and[sp]them also thinking that the Brotherhood are destroyed, when I haven't killed them...yet[/sp]
[sp]Danse didn't know he was a synth, where is it said that Sturges is a synth?[/sp]
[sp]Danse didn't know he was a synth, where is it said that Sturges is a synth?[/sp]
Only if you kill him he has the parts on the corpse, but he's marked essential so you can't kill him. It might just be a left over and someone forgot to change the race back.
oh, i don't assign genders to super mutants or ghouls. but i guess the right word would be pansexual.
polyamorous
The only cure is death. Also holy shit was their plan stupid. Did they not know it would kill anything born outside a vault after the bombs dropped? Including themselves?
Actually, it's a really good plan, because if I remember right, the FEV ending in 3 explained only vault dwellers and the Enclave were basically untouched by the mutations and radiation. They would essentially be walking out into an empty world that they could repopulate and fix.
I want to partner up with and romance the (minor side-quest spoilers) [sp]friendly deathclaw[/sp] as a companion. Modders pls
[sp]That's because Danse and Sturges are obviously not loyal to the Institute, nor undercover. It's obvious to me that they must have been railroad Synths that were mind wiped.[/sp]
deathclaws are much cuter now that they aren't skinny chickenshits
Is the pip boy even worth it? Ours got lost in the mail twice.
Anyone have a fix for how when you fast travel away from the red rocket/sancturary area the settlements defenses get cut in half and get obliterated while your not there? Its extremely annoying and having to walk away every time is very annoying, been thinking of moving my gear pile away from sanctuary for that reason.
Is the pip boy even worth it? Ours got lost in the mail twice.
It's a pretty neat thing to have if you're a Fallout fan yeah.
picked up an Instigating Gauss Rifle today ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) another reason why you should walk to places instead of Fast Traveling! [editline]1st December 2015[/editline] now that I've beaten the MQ I pretty much only fast travel if I seriously can't be arsed or it's a faraway raider defense. Another good alternative is Fast travel not to your destination, but fast travel nearby your destination if you want a balance of both
I only fast travel to and from connected settlements and major cities, I know it's a silly self imposed rule but it gives a fun reason to build settlements far out of there and it always feels really shitty late game when you're just warping from one place to another.
The only one they seem to have picked up on is making companions more than just cardboard cut-outs with one line back-stories that follow you around. Only the issue is that now they are more interesting than the main character :v:
To be honest, I don't mind everyone else being more interesting, because that means I can substitute whatever the fuck I want into my character's bio if it isn't mentioned story-wise. The problem is that they still force shit on you like "SHAUN IS ONLY AROUND A YEAR OLD" when you watch yourself get frozen a second time and should have the option to believe that he's older.
Doing mass-cooking with the idiot savant perk is just strange Your character is just constantly cackling and giggling during the entire process

My problems with it are the facts that I can't keep a steady framerate in cities, though I guess that's my fault at the moment, and that there's nothing but raiders there unless I manage to duck into a building, which is then filled with supermutants or feral ghouls instead. [editline]1st December 2015[/editline]
Doing mass-cooking with the idiot savant perk is just strange Your character is just constantly cackling and giggling during the entire process
Oh shit, I finally just looked up Idiot Savant. I think I'm just going to start over and RP a super mutant with that
so i just realized how to get a homerun
Doing mass-cooking with the idiot savant perk is just strange Your character is just constantly cackling and giggling during the entire process
You burned bunch of eggs. Eugh euehghgh huehaa!
I know pathfinding would be a huge issue, but damn do I wish there was a way to have a caraven of sort to go from settlement to settlement (or any unlocked locations like vertibirds) while you just kick back and sit, and can choose to jump out if you get attacked or something. Vertibird rides are cool and all but I'd love this so much more (if it worked well ingame).
Is there a way to keep settlers from raiding my workbench during an attack? Or would I be better served just moving into a settlement with no people. Because Sturges and that depressed guy keep stealing my uniques.
