I'm so glad I kept myself completely unspoiled with FO4. Never even watched the trailers, everything is new to me. Downside is I'll be saying a lot of things that will seem stupid and obvious to anyone who's seen the trailers before launch. [editline]t[/editline] Oh god the X-01 is there too? Where can I find that?
Oh god the X-01 is there too? Where can I find that?
[sp]35 Court spawns with mk 3 full set, if your level's high enough to defeat the assaultron and sentry bot[/sp] [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] I got it around lv 38
I'm assuming it's a leveled spawn. If I discover the landmark does that generate the content of the landmark? Or do I have to actually go in the door to generate that? I may have already discovered that location but I never went inside.
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4046/ Put out another retexture, this time the combat shotgun/rifle. Power Armor design in this game is really good. It looks really Fallout 1ish. Infact, everything reminds me of Fallout 1. A helmetless character in Power Armor is pretty much a 1:! of the talking heads of the Brotherhood of Steel. The artstyle and that one track that plays sometimes that kinda sounds like the one playing in that clicky world-map menu in FO1 is really reminiscent of it.
I really hope someone does a mod to add a Katana in the game, I mean the Shishkebab is already a modified katana so it should be easy to do so.
there is already a cavalry sword and a chinese officer sword
Also if I preview designations C-F on the rack, the condition of the armor doesn't visibly improve, but it does between A and B. Is that just because I lack the perks needed to make those?
I found a full set of X-01. It's locked behind an expert terminal, and I'm doing a build that focuses on obtaining 11 in every special stat. it's kind of baffling how they never thought there was anything wrong with Piper totally ditching both her little sister and news station forver after working so hard to get back into DC. (Referring to how you kidnap companions after sending them to any settlement, not being able to "cancel" out and send them home. And how there seems to be no console command fix or people just don't care because they bark "just cancel out" without actually reading the problem)
This is probably nothing but it's kinda interesting anyway.. Josh Sawyer just tweeted this: https://twitter.com/jesawyer/status/671835377943117824
Probably nothing like you said, but damn. Me and a friend were talking the other day about how Louisiana could work for an East vs. West game or something in terms of location. Hopefully it pans out, I'd love to see a New Orleans Fallout regardless. edit:
*after seeing 100 twitter notifcations, said in rill quiet voice* that's not fallout-related btw
aw

[sp]Ad Victorum, Paladin Danse. I almost got him out alive but during the conversation with Maxson, I chose the wrong dialogue option and thought I could do better, but my last save ended up being right before I talked with Danse and failed my charisma check. Also, on the subject of Sawyer, fairly interesting post on the NV factions here

I encountered a strange bug concerning Curie, though it might be with any companion you edit using slm. Whenever I fast travel with her, she turns into a bloatfly and the game crashes. Really weird.

You know it kinda stinks how if I want an ideal stealth power armor (with the stealth boy upgrade), I have to put points and perks into stat trees I will NEVER use for anything else. I'm a high INT character so the science perk was easily obtained. To do any work on power armor I need armorer though, which is asking me to dump into strength for that perk alone. [editline]t[/editline] Power armor was built to compensate for lack of enormous brute strength, but the game's telling me I need that anyway if I want to maximize said power armor.
nick can get that door open for you
Unless he botches it like he did for me, then forever refuses to try again.
I may well be alone in this but since the second Fallout I've been hoping for an opportunity to play either a ghoul or super mutant, and since starting Fallout 4 and finding all the super mutant armour sets I've loved the idea of 'alternate start' DLC to that effect. Imagine being able to start a new playthrough dumped into the wasteland in a new location, waking up in an FEV vat as a newly created mutant or crawling out of a subway tunnel as a pre-war ghoul from an underground shelter. Cut out the main questline, maybe replace it with one for the new races and bring back some voice actors to adjust NPC reactions to your character and you're in business, the same big wasteland to explore but from a new perspective. New perks to get buffs from radiation exposure, maybe ghouls could even have a second health bar from radiation exposure and lower HP to reflect their squishiness. Good chance to bring back the mutant size power armour from Fallout 2 as well.
Ghoul is still a little doable, what with ghouls having more normal voices now. I'd love to play a super mutant, though. I played one name "Ughhhh," in the Fallout PNP and he was a fucking blast.
Unless he botches it like he did for me, then forever refuses to try again.
i think he has a luck chance of succeeding, but he has opened expert terminals for me before [editline]1st December 2015[/editline]
You know it kinda stinks how if I want an ideal stealth power armor (with the stealth boy upgrade), I have to put points and perks into stat trees I will NEVER use for anything else. I think it'd be cool if there were a stealth-focused PA in the first place. Something created to try to outdo the chinese stealth suits recovered on the frontlines of the great war. Not that much in the way of armor, but it's lightweight and streamlined, built for mobility, allowing the user to run faster and jump higher, and outfitted with IR, UV and radar camouflage.
I had a basic story idea for a mod I wanted to make for myself in the future, mainly for a potential senior final project at my university. My idea is that you're part of a caravan delivering goods somewhere but you get lost and eventually get attacked by experienced raiders. You realize you ended up in a location called "The Badlands" (cliché I know); a part of the wasteland that is ruled by a collection of raider tribes and one huge main antagonist tribe. The person who captures the rest of your caravan is the main antagonist of course and you have to set out to save them/take over the Badlands for yourself. Kind of Far Cry inspired. My idea was to, alongside the main story, use the settlement system as a way to create liberation missions where you liberate different locations to be used for your own tribe, and of course you can build over the area as you please. Meh probably won't happen but I sure as hell will have a lot more time on my hands when the geck comes out.
also never really did a before and after yet so [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/576821932681122540/9FD4F806DD2345C6890D1E550239B3B7EA67A3A0/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/576821932681122178/7DE3154C22F3D897DB4EFA865E6445277C7B3661/[/t] wastes haven't been too harsh [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/576821932681122427/AEC56B19206DE880DE0B131555A53142A13B27C8/[/t] but there's a pretty good reason for that [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/576821932681124234/1A5765C1355524DE29703E0556ECAB579BEFCD87/[/t] Working on finding a full luck combat armor set with only 1-2 exceptions.
It's a shame you can't get a perk level in gun nut / armorer / blacksmith / science that lets you move legendary effects from one weapon to another. Adds a "bonus" slot in their respective workbenches. In order to remove a legendary effect, you have to destroy the item it's equipped to, and you can't have two of these effects at once, so it'll override any existing one. [editline]t[/editline] Maybe to balance it out, it has to be removed from one legendary and added to another, overriding that one's existing effect. Explosive 10mm pistol > ghoul slayer sniper rifle = explosive sniper rifle, 10mm pistol and ghoul slayer destroyed

So apparently if you stay in a church long enough, Piper will sit down and start praying silently. Thought that was a cute little detail. [sp]Also romancing Curie in my Brotherhood playthrough. Decided to give her a set of scribe armor. Seems like it fits her personality.[/sp]
there is already a cavalry sword and a chinese officer sword
A third sword wouldn't hurt.
