Im so disappointed that the player character can't become a cyborg. Like, when i started cutting [sp] kellogg [/sp] open and pulling out his various cybernetic implants, i held onto them for the whole game hoping there would be a chance to get them implanted myself. Even if it just gave me some weaksause +5% unarmed damage + 5% chem duration buff, i wouldn't care because just being a cyborg is super cool. By the end of new vegas my courier was pretty much the 6 million dollar man, especially once id been through Old World Blues.
[sp]I have heard that siding with the institute will allow you to have those implants installed.[/sp]
If there's one fucking thing I can't stand about the Institute and the Brotherhood of Steel, it's their shitty attitudes towards Synths, the Institute make the Synths and are like "Well we made them so they're our property now, oh and they shouldn't be more human by thinking for themselves, even though we make them look and act human, that's just part of the subterfuge." And the Brotherhood are just straight up cunts, "A machine thinking for itself, that's fucking dumb, blah blah." fuck off retards.

[editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] The debate for the BoS is if Synths are "AIs" or just engineered humans.
To be fair, the brotherhood's idea of proper AI is asimovian. Listen to orders, do no harm, do not neglect and allow harm by inaction. These are what we are trying to build REAL AI to follow. In real life.
I wish we could actually figure out to what degree are Synths biological.
To me it seems they're effectively speed grown clones with some cybernetics that allows the institute to dump information and memories into their brain matrix-style, along with other general improvements.

who wouldnt frick a synth tho
literally this thread
"Is the babymaker intact?" - this thread.
I suppose you could construe that from it. I'm thinking more along the lines of do they age? Do they have biological needs? etc.
Yo, so, if you want to make the game more immersive, get the pip-boy app for a decent sized phone or a small tablet and never use the one in-game. You can't pause the game while you look through your stuff anymore, so you very well could get attacked while you're standing around changing armor out or dropping junk. You can also use auto-walk to browse your inventory while on the move, which is very handy when exploring new places.

Someone needs to make a "Do it for her" picture with Curie
Someone needs to make a "Do it for her" picture with Curie
You spelt KLEO wrong.
[sp]Curie[/sp]mentions she has to remember not to stop breathing I think. She also mentions washing her teeth iirc (which means she eats food).
I think that first point is more about her[sp]being a Miss Nanny previously, a proper robot that didn't need to breath[/sp].
You spelt KLEO wrong.
Why not both?
The Human Error quest perfectly puts into perspective how retarded the Railroad is: [sp]You have to rescue Amelia Stockton, daughter of Old Man Stockton, who's a railroad supporter. By choosing the "good" option, you kill a bunch of people to save the synth spy who killed and replaced the real Amelia. Not that the covenant are exactly good people, but it's basically the railroad's theme of not caring about the truth for the sake of feeling good about themselves[/sp]
That's a whole lot of assumptions you're making. First, you're making the assumption that [sp]Amelia is an Institute loyalist. More likely, given Stockton's role, is that she's a freed Synth posing as a member of his family to escape capture by the Institute.[/sp] Second, you're assuming that [sp]there ever was a 'real' Amelia Stockton.[/sp] Third, you're assuming [sp]there *is* a 'good' option.[/sp]
I wonder if we will get a story reconstruction DLC like Bioware did when they botched the ME3 ending. Because the game definitely needs it.
Why not both? [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] I have never heard anybody call it that before
I forgot it's brushing in english :vs:
To be fair, the brotherhood's idea of proper AI is asimovian. Listen to orders, do no harm, do not neglect and allow harm by inaction. These are what we are trying to build REAL AI to follow. In real life.
No we don't want to build that sort of AI in real life, the books Asimov wrote told how these laws are stupid. But the whole synths story-line feels bad, it doesn't make much sense and I really didn't feel connected at all. I had fun with the Brotherhood but you literally don't make an impact on anything in the end expect [sp] blowing up institute/brotherhood/railroad [/sp]. Although synths in real life would be dumb as fuck as it makes little sense to make things like synths.
If a true Power Armor rebalance mod came it would have to drastically change the game. -Remove at least half of the random spawn points in the wasteland like the ez railroad carts, leave the ones like 35 Court. -Make it so that 15 minutes of effort with the Brotherhood of Steel doesn't get you the second best Power Armor -Possibly remove the t45 at Concord, or at least give you half a set. -Weaken Raider PA -Remove chance of Fusion Cores from random containers. (I've found 4 in ammo boxes before, seriously.) +Add upgrades to the legs that allow you to kick down doors +Add upgrades to the arms that allow you to force open containers +EMP Shielding upgrade +Night Vision upgrade for helmet. +No weapon sway with power armor A lot can be done, honestly. Those were just off the top of my head.

Catwalks, bridges roof houses.
In the future, man and machine will become one anyway. We will have our brains all hooked up to a database to recall and nessecary information we need. And physical issues will be remedies with cybernetics. We will all be equal. But at what point would we stop being human? Are we not defined by our differences? Will progress halt as no advancements toward equality need to be made? Wish bethesda wouldve added that into the moral questions in this game. [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] Also real life synths would be good in real life if a human genophage occurs. They're mostly biological and organic, arent they?
Woah buddy Mankind Divided isn't out yet.

I got around to doing all the endings I didn't get first time round today, [sp]and as sick as stompin' round with Liberty Prime was, watching the prydwen get blown the fuck up twice was pretty fun. The Railroad version of taking down the ship is fun when trying to do it as stealth as possible. I ended up having to run the fuck outta there asap and almost get shot to shit by paladins. It's just a shame that the Institute ending is such an anticlimax with you listening to old son die.[/sp] [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] I'm really hoping the DLCs will have some pretty good places to explore. Because this map is probably my favorite so far, but I'm thinking I'm almost done with exploring it. I love how densely packed, and open the city center is. Makes F3's city look like utter shit.
People talk shit about Strong but he was pretty much made for the "kill literally everything" playthrough He doesn't give a fuck if they are innocent, its clobbering time all the time
