People talk shit about Strong but he was pretty much made for the "kill literally everything" playthrough He doesn't give a fuck if they are innocent, its clobbering time all the time
Might be, but he never fucking shuts up.
The one good thing I can say about the Institute is that they follow the first rule of building robots. 1. Any robot that you can't fuck is useless.
Is there away to reset/restart your progress for [sp]The Molecular level? I was kind of rushing through it and now I've realized that I've basically locked into either the Brotherhood or Minutemen (I have the quest where you have to take the institute info to Preston), but I want to do more quests for the Railroad. resetquest <id> doesn't seem to work.[/sp]
Aww yiss [t]http://i.imgur.com/sRXRV1p.jpg[/t] Muthafuckin militarized T-51B [editline]t[/editline] Lighting and scenery in that shot kinda reminds me of Fallout 1's cover [t]http://i.imgur.com/F4ZOPmi.jpg[/t]
Power Armor DLC Atom Cats make lowrider power armour with bouncing hydraulics and even more customization for Power Armor.
Had some stuff 3D printed working on a Vault Dweller figure. Still have to weather it, and make the screen for the Pip-Boy
Also that latest beta update might have fixed a lot of the issues with framerate. specifically terminals and lockpicking. However, the jumping physics and physics in general are still wonky at higher than 60 because Havok.
Institute Spoilers: [sp]Why the smeg did Shaun axe the project that gave Kellogg his cybernetics? Cybernetics could definitely help humanity. Take the Minutemen, for instance. Let's say that Ronnie Shaw, Preston, and any other Minutemen who've proved that they won't abuse their power become cyborgs. They'd be able to be able to kick the asses of any raider groups so hard that any survivors would likely be too scared to ever return to the Commonwealth. The Institute is prats and tits.[/sp]
he probably was jelly of it, i mean look at the rapid 180 they did on the synths, fully functional androids to manufactured synthetic biology.
Bit late,
just on a side note, those mixers in the background are horribly designed [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline]
I got around to doing all the endings I didn't get first time round today, [sp]and as sick as stompin' round with Liberty Prime was, watching the prydwen get blown the fuck up twice was pretty fun. The Railroad version of taking down the ship is fun when trying to do it as stealth as possible. I ended up having to run the fuck outta there asap and almost get shot to shit by paladins. It's just a shame that the Institute ending is such an anticlimax with you listening to old son die.[/sp] [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] I'm really hoping the DLCs will have some pretty good places to explore. Because this map is probably my favorite so far, but I'm thinking I'm almost done with exploring it. I love how densely packed, and open the city center is. Makes F3's city look like utter shit.
don't think the maps boarders are the limit though, like the glowing sea has a ton of stuff off the map
Anyone else experiencing crashes when using facial reconstruction, or even using the showlooksmenu console command?
don't think the maps boarders are the limit though, like the glowing sea has a ton of stuff off the map
Fuck, if they made the DLCs all expanded parts of the current map with specific quests for that area that would be sick. I loved most of the F3 DLC, but the once that had areas to explore being very separate from the main world was annoying.
If a true Power Armor rebalance mod came it would have to drastically change the game. -Remove at least half of the random spawn points in the wasteland like the ez railroad carts, leave the ones like 35 Court. -Make it so that 15 minutes of effort with the Brotherhood of Steel doesn't get you the second best Power Armor -Possibly remove the t45 at Concord, or at least give you half a set. -Weaken Raider PA -Remove chance of Fusion Cores from random containers. (I've found 4 in ammo boxes before, seriously.) +Add upgrades to the legs that allow you to kick down doors +Add upgrades to the arms that allow you to force open containers +EMP Shielding upgrade +Night Vision upgrade for helmet. +No weapon sway with power armor A lot can be done, honestly. Those were just off the top of my head.
-no radiation protection without a full set equipped(the game already does this for the existing paint job stats) + some kind of flotation device -ability to add multiple mods per piece of armor, like the visor upgrades and the medical upgrades for PA being in separate mod categories -possibly make paintjobs completely cosmetic and have the existing state bonuses as simply a best pick -possibly make fusion cores have a weight value meaning you have to choose how many to carry with you -dramatically boost the carry weight of armor -add light weight mods for t45 pieces, lower the threshold for stealthboy mods on the t45

So hey, if [sp] I have Sturges build the teleporter in the Molecular Level, can I still help the Railroad?[/sp]
So hey, if [sp] I have Sturges build the teleporter in the Molecular Level, can I still help the Railroad?[/sp]
ya [sp] the quest afterwards is where you have to start choosing [/sp] [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline]
In the future, man and machine will become one anyway. We will have our brains all hooked up to a database to recall and nessecary information we need. And physical issues will be remedies with cybernetics. We will all be equal. But at what point would we stop being human? Are we not defined by our differences? Will progress halt as no advancements toward equality need to be made? Wish bethesda wouldve added that into the moral questions in this game. [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] Also real life synths would be good in real life if a human genophage occurs. They're mostly biological and organic, arent they?
synths are synthetic biological systems, they are human, they have completely biological bodies and everything, except where humans and normal biology are developed from 1 cell, synths are assembled. the improvments they've made over human biology probably remove a lot of natural hickups evolution has created such as cancers, genetic defects, and they've probably added in a whole lot of cellular repair mechanisms that improve upon human biology. the coursers probably are as tough as they are because they lack pain receptors and many biological responses such as shock, concussions, and swelling. without these they can probably sustain enormous damage and keep moving, at least as far as being a super-soldier is concerned, the institute doesn't have to worry about their longevity and long term health. the synth components could be a mcguffin or they could be some neural interface imbedded in the brain that allows them to control the synths, its hard to say, you see that the synths are assembled from organic components, the exact extent of the organic vs the robotic is very hard to say
So... what's the difference between a Swatter and a Baseball Bat?
So... what's the difference between a Swatter and a Baseball Bat?
Can't beat a swatter.
Can't beat a swatter.
it also does slightly more damage and it has "swatter" written on it so it's automatically top tier melee
It makes me mad that the T51 isn't stronger than X01 suit. I love enclave but the t51 is cooler.
I rather they keep that gamey fallout 3 stuff away from the actual lore. The T-51 was the standard military armor, the enclave APA was a substantial post-war improvement over it, it was ridiculous that they degraded the Mark II APA down to the level of the T-45 in Fallout 3.
If you kill swatter guy, his death dialogue is really sad.
I always kill him because I can't stand his voice
fuck swatters [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/576821932681065081/FF1C6C29A14B022882716ED5056ED5570602EF1B/[/t]
If you kill swatter guy, his death dialogue is really sad.
I killed him because everyone aggro:d on me because I refused to talk with caitlin or whatever her name is because I knew nothing about her father. Fucking weird.
Oh right, on the note of power armor, here's this monster again now that I have the exoskeleton model. WIP, ignore all the obvious clipping and shit that'll be all sorted out. Nifskope won't have import support for a while though so I'm not in any huge hurry to get this done. [t]http://i.imgur.com/0vzU4lM.jpg[/t]
I always kill him because I can't stand his voice
oh my. Don't play TES IV: Oblivion. The VA is basically every guard.
Concerning a certain ghoul found in the Hotel Rexford: [sp]I know Cait dislikes giving him a new home because she's a dick, but according to the wiki Hancock dislikes it too. Why's that? I thought he'd be chill about it.[/sp]
