Oh cool, I just found a vault 81 citizen with a pipboy wandering the wastes, and he said "this is the last time i volunteer for one of the expeditions". That's pretty neat.
So uh- is this how i fire gun????

So this is how a Weapon condition mod will be implemented.
Help, I've already started to install Fallout 4 mods.
My Skyrim mods folder.

Thats just mods, not the game at all.
How do you get notified if your settlement is under attack? I keep minding my own business and suddenly stuff like "Defend Sanctuary - Failed" pops up.
Well I settled my group in Covenant, but there is just no room for expansion. Up to 9 people and it's just far too cramped now.
Anyone know any really good locations for settlements that are close to the center of the map?
A thing that's really really been grinding my gears in this game is completing early-game quests after finishing the main quest.
Like people mentioning [sp]how much we have to fear the Institute, after I have destroyed it[/sp]
Or that motherfucker Rhys from BoS who's kissing my ass one second and then the next he's trashtalking me like I'm some initiate, because I didn't complete his Radiant quests from way back.
Oh and actually the worst and most annoying thing in the game is no doubt that when selecting weapons through hotkeys they sometimes have to be 'loaded'?
Like in the middle of battle, it just takes its sweet time to load the fucking mesh or something.
I find any consumable past the first few hours gets ridiculously common. Both times I beat the MQ I ended with 100+ stimpaks.
The thing that annoys me most is the .50 calibre ammo. The balance on .50 cal is handled awfully. Take the sniper, for instance, fires .308. Changing the calibre to that of a bullet that is twice as long and five times the amount of muzzle energy and it's only something like 20-30 extra damage? How does that make sense at all? .50 cals are HUGE. They should be as rare as 2mm cartridges for the gauss rifle, or railway spikes, and have a sniper natively chambered in it.
50caliber is basically currency for me. I have max ammo find perk and just sell like 500 at a time to fill up on other ammo or explosives. The thing for me is DPS of a weapon. Which is why I still carry a rapid 10mm pistol because it dishes out lots of damage even if each shot is small.
The 50cal sniper is worthless for me since the reload is so long and often doesn't do enough damage to enemies to be worth it. Unless it's a low level enemy... but then I might as well run up and use deliverer or an SMG. If it was like 3x the damage at like 150 or 200, it would make sense to carry.

The gun thing happens to me every single time I switch using the hotkeys. I found that if you open the pip boy right after you switch and close out of it the weapon usually comes up immediately. If it doesn't keep spamming the pip boy until it spawns in.
IT JUST WORKS

Going into third person works too.

Yeah, I just scroll back and forward on my mouse and bap, fixed.
how do I disarm a mine once I see the red thing flashing?
how do I disarm a mine once I see the red thing flashing?
Just hit E/Use on it.
Is anyone else disappointed you don't net XP for disarming mines anymore?
Part of me really wants to replay New Vegas after having been left dissatisfied with Fallout 4, but another part of me knows I won't be able to get back into that clunky, ugly monstrosity after being spoiled by better graphics and gunplay.
Come you all knew this would be the Skyrim of Fallout, the only thing you could hope for this game is Obsidian makes a expansion and the modding community takes off with perhaps some DLC's.
Then in the future we'll have some nostalgic types talking about how fun F4 was to explore and why it's better than what Obsidian makes.

It's waaaay better than Skyrim though.
I just witnessed KLEO murder all the drifters in Goodneighbor.

Fallout 4 - Skyrim with Radiation.
Holy fuck, there's a bunker by one of the houses in the West Everett Estate, [sp]and it had a fucking chilling holotape on a terminal there. It's really sad, and has made me decided to take the Jangles The Moon Monkey that's in the bunker and take it back to my house to look after it.[/sp]
Here's my (almost finished) Sanctuary
Looks really good!
Something I wish you could do would be the option to [sp]go to the BoS to decode the courser chip instead of the railroad[/sp], having just gotten to the part where I have to [sp]decode the chip[/sp] the person in charge in the railroad is a bitch, demanding I give her [sp] the courser chip[/sp] when theyre done with it, even though I don't even know what the railroads intentions are (at the point of the story I'm in)
I found the source of the graphical artifacts, it's a tree.

However, the disable command does not work on the tree for some reason, the game is currently unplayable, i can't see jack shit.
Mmmm girl, show me yo terrain holes.

This is easily the most "Bethesda" thing there is.
How to do?
I fast traveled to Goodneighbor, and there were a couple Supermutants there, they were fighting with the residents. I think either the drifters or KLEO accidentally hit one another, and thus sent KLEO on her Rampage.

It had to be done.
Where do you guys keep your power armors? The sanctuary garage thingy is starting to get cluttered and I don't know what to build on the broken down house next to it.
