As long as they don't try to imply the great war was caused by aliens, or something equally stupid, I don't really see the problem with that to be honest.
Other than that bit, they're a lot less harmful to the overall setting than a lot of the shit that's already been introduced in Fallout 3 and 4.

I was out and about exploring and I found a military bunker of sorts, hacked a terminal to enable the elevator and went down.
Then I found a terminal with logs of the guy posted there before war talking about finding a creepy as shit radio signal[sp]Which honestly may just be a reference to something silly[/sp] and subsequently heard some weird noises.
Not gonna spoil any more about it but I have to say it actually got me spooped. Brings back good memories from that ghoul-infested building in Fo3.

does it have to do with the fact you have the tri barrel plus perhaps do you have damage bonuses or the big guns perks

It aint bugged, I just aint specced in Big guns, nor is my weapon fully upgraded, hell it doesn't even have any upgrades.

Nope I haven't even gone into Big guns yet, I was a rifle user until today.
And it's not upgraded in the slightest, it's still using all of the basic components... At least now I know what I'm going to eventually be getting, it's a monster now, but damn looking at what it can eventually become, lovely, really can't wait. :v:
