sometimes its fun to just be in a massive metal suit of armor and mindlessly gun down raiders and deathclaws
its not like you're fighting the final boss or getting the end game armor immediately, and it's also not like some games do where you get to fight the final boss but are forced to lose and then build up to finally taking them down (first example that comes to mind is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, but a lot of rpgs do this too)
honestly the whole getting a taste of end-game and then building up to being able to do that [I]all the time[/I] is way better than in 3/NV where its like "see that armor on the box? you can get that (50 hours in)"

Woulda been nice too, could've been a neat brief Anchorage throwback, though it's nice that you get to keep it the way it is, it's sort of your first trophy, and depending on the player, you'll either sell the minigun for a bit of caps or keep it until later down the line when you finally have enough bullets to justify lugging it around (or forget about it because you'll have better weapons and keep it as a trophy, I know mine rests on a table near that same power armor on my first playthrough).

i've hardly found any ammo for that since I got it - in fact the only time I did find ammo was on the corpse of a minigun-wielding raider who I would've got a minigun from anyway
open world 'survival' rpgs are the perfect games for teasing you with overpowered stuff and then challenging you to go and get to the point where you can use it all the time, why does everything have to be a boring curve of "the higher your level the better your gear"? why cant we have rocket launchers or miniguns in our pack as a sort of overpowered last-resort weapon that we wanna hold onto?

I've barely used power armour myself because your time in it is finite. I try to save it for when I really need it, but when that moment arises I don't have it so I end up just running away :pudge:

I just had a random encounter of a whole pack of deathclaws fighting a behemoth, I kill all the deathclaws, and as soon as I down the behemoth he falls though the floor so I can't loot him.

I had 3 legendary ragdolls 'disappear' in a row last night.
Really fucking pisses me off, none of the normal NPC ragdolls despawn/fall through the floor but every single legendary I've had to fight has.
