I want to see what it's like outside of the US after that idea was proposed a few pages back, the fallout universe is SO interesting and still there are so many things we don't know!
How to fix the Minutemen:
As the General, send squads of minutemen out to defend settlements. This happens a lot. Occasionally something goes awry and Preston informs you of this and that prompts the reoccurring Minutemen quests.
It functions the exact same way it does now except you actually feel like the General and that there's more than 9 Minutemen.
Seriously for someone who apparently is below me in rank Preston sure likes giving me the orders.
I just hope Obsidian goes the Bethesda route and tries something new and tasty in the Fallout world.
I think New Vegas was enough of "Hey guys! Remember Fallout 1 & 2?"
As far as location, I agree. Considering half of the games are set on the West Coast (2 of those being on basically the same map) it's getting tiring. I don't want to see the NCR again for a while. Hell, I don't care to see the Brotherhood again for a while unless they do something different with them. I want to see new factions in a new, unexplored region in the lore. I quite liked Fallout 4 for that, despite some of its flaws.
Is the Mysterious Stranger perk worth getting?
if they didnt need to pay 2 protags to voice thousands upon thousands of lines they could probably hire a few new faces to help with variation
it's seriously crazy how much unique dialog the protags have and it's kinda sad because most of it is used for those shitty rng quests
There's already like 160 Voice Actors credited for Fallout 4.
The Phantom Pain has no voice variation at all, every guard speaks the same and every one of your Diamond Dogs soldiers have the same voice.
But that fits with the whole theme of "faceless soldiers being replaceable" we've seen a few times in the series, and how only the "real" heroes "matter". Plus it's really arcadey. You can do a lot of bad decisions as long as you do them consciously and make them feel intentional
What are some interesting areas that are talked about in the world but so far never seen?
San Francisco and 'Ronto are the only that come to mind.
Is there any point in the game where the dialogue branches out to multiple options before making the PC speak?
For example:
1. Sarcasm
2. No
3. Yes
4. More Options
Sub options 1-4
I know there's a part in the Railroad where you get to choose [sp]your codename, but I don't consider that to count since the "More options" answer makes the PC say something to prompt the new window first[/sp]
Considering that part in the Railroad, I wouldn't be surprised if it's literally hardcoded that every dialogue option leads to dialogue.
but what if there were more?
Then people would complain that it wasn't 320 instead of 160, so on and so forth

And i want a break from the East Coast. Bethesda had two games to develop their "own" lore and the results are not convincing.
I wouldn't mind another west coast game either, but hell, it doesn't have to be there. There are still lots of places to make a new fallout game. I just find kinda contradicting when you say you're tired from the west coast (which as an opinion by itself it's ok, nothing wrong with that) but praising the 'new' lore of Fallout 4 that reused a lot from F3

Arizona, Mexico, Salt Lake City.
Also really want to see what Canada looks like.
Is the Mysterious Stranger perk worth getting?
My personal issue with it is: If it's so rare it needs to work 100% of the time it happens, and it doesn't. It's frustrating when he shows up and spawns on top of the enemy and can't shoot it and nothing happens.

Some of the most recognizable aspects of the fallout world come from Bethesda's own games.

I don't know the full list, but New Vegas canonized a lot of Van Buren locations, and it's likely any location from Van Buren should be considered mostly canon unless contradicted by a game.
Hopefully the Dog City concept for Denver is used at some point. Everyone living in skyscrapers to avoid the endless hordes of dogs roaming the streets is pretty awesome; hopefully the Legion hasn't done too much of a number on the place.
Is the Mysterious Stranger perk worth getting?
I'd say it is more like a gimmick perk
Though if you are lucky enough it can save you from a shitty situation
Fallout 4 has been pretty decent with VA spread. I haven't come across 2 unique npcs that had a disgustingly same voice.
I think guards are forgivable, and the only other scenario that I've seen are Ghoul voices.
Also the quality is a bit better this time around. Skyrim had some moments where the voice delivery screamed "I am in a closet reading words off of a sheet."

How is this stabilizer useful? It only goes on one barrel.
it's literally rocket science, you wouldn't understand

SCIENCE!
I know this sounds... questionable.... but I've found the female charicters bra straps distracting in some armor, like the gunners harness, and some others that I can't think of off the top of my head. Is there a mod or why to get rid of it?

The back end is really heavy and one tube like that balances it out.
:science101:

I hate it when people say setting it somewhere else goes against the "point of fallout" because that's complete shit. All the blatant patriotism and commie paranoia would make China a perfect setting. See what the communism vs. capitalism thing did over there.

Now I'm not playing on PC but I think you want the "Glorious Nude Female" mod which I know nothing about if anyone asks

Unfortunately, I don't think it's fixable, since the gunner harness is actually showing your character's body, rather than a weird bodysuit on top like Bethesda usually uses.
It looks bad enough that I'm tempted to get a nude mod just to fix it, it looks so bleugh with the textured-on undies.
wasn't the argument that China got totally fucked in retaliation, though?
would still be down to see a post-apoc Fallout Hong Kong
You could easily make a Fallout game that's entirely pre-war focusing on the occupation of Canada. That would be interesting.

does that mean [sp]Captain Zao can't rebuild?[/sp] ;_;

[sp]my theory is that china did not launch a nuke at all, america just nuked itself[/sp]

I feel like this in an inevitable mod since the faction is such a clean slate
Gonna just roll minutemen when said mod comes out. Might make that my settler guy too.

The other tubes also don't even connect to the main barrel so if you somehow managed to fire those other tubes, you'd get a face full of backblast.
