That's because if you're a being of true strength you would just beat the terminal or lock into submission. This is Strong's preferred method of dealing with obstacles.
I really wish that was an option for doors/containers, just make it take a while and alert any nearby NPCs with the noise of you destroying the thing, maybe with a chance for less loot from containers as if you damaged the contents. Maybe an option for opening things with explosives too, which would be even less stealthy. It'd keep picking useful for stealth and not having friendly/neutral NPCs aggro on you for wrenching the door off their safe with your power armour. [editline]26th November 2015[/editline] Also the mental image of someone in power armour trying a door handle to find it locked and then just punching a hole right through it.
I should be able to rip and tear raiders in half in my power armor
So after a little while of wondering why i looked like a dumbass in the heavy combat armor i just got, i found out it's actually form fitting Military fatigues + CA makes the armor look fat
Looks awesome with heavy metal armor though, makes you look like a godamn armored bear
A Tips for you who wants to add a little variety into your Commonwealth photo shooting. Putting in TFC 1 during a conversation in cinematic view let's you keep the DOF  gonna have a go with this at the glowing sea later.
Once you've clicked like two of the options, if you get 0 matches for both you can pretty easily narrow it down to 2 possibilities. Lockpicking and Hacking are honestly a bit overused at times. There are even times where it's detrimental to utilize hacked terminals since turning on the protectrons/turrets will half the time already be hostile. That or the expert level terminal only gives you the option to turn on spotlights.
i don't get this. i'never had a (terminal activated) protectron attack me unless i fired on it first
There needs to be a DLC where it turns out Preston Garvey is a prototype synth that's unable to express human emotion.
There needs to be some way to hot-drop your Power Armor. I find myself holding off on using it because I don't want to needlessly run down power cores, but when I think I need it I end up doing just fine without it anyway. There needs to be a catapult that functions like the [sp]artillery.[/sp] Station a suit of armor in the catapult that you built at The Castle, or something, and then when you need it you drop a grenade and the Power Armor crashes down out of the sky. It's not like the PA suffers fall damage, anyway.
Is it just me, or is fo4 really fucking quiet? I have to have my pc's volume at 100 and the volume sliders at full just to maybe hear Travis meander his way through running a radio station.

My speakers shake my desk when I play music at 100, but when I'm playing fallout 4 sounds like it's maybe at 30 or 40%.
i don't get this. i'never had a (terminal activated) protectron attack me unless i fired on it first
I had a terminal linked to two assaultrons, I was hyped but then they were hostile and I got vapourised.

I am having the hardest time trying to find a Gauss rifle.
Strong doesn't have a great personality unlike Fawkes, Dog/God, Marcus, or Lily. He doesn't have a great story development other than MacBeth.
I wasn't very fond of Marcus in New Vegas, his presence was a bit shoehorned in and he could have been a reference in some dialogue and the entirety of Jacobstown would have been the same. He's one of those things that was just there to remind people of Fallout 1 and 2, which was a bit of a shame.
I am having the hardest time trying to find a Gauss rifle.
BoS sells them, if not there's one you can steal there

I feel like Fallout 4 has turned me into a terrible person. I went into the game with the intention of being a good guy, and then Cait came along and corrupted me, and it was all downhill from there.
Anyone know how one exits or enters power armour quickly? I've done it a few times accidentally, but have been unable to replicate it.

Nick Valentine best companion, screw Piper and the others.

He was going to leave Broken Hills and wander towards Nevada even if you didn't take him as a companion. And judging by the super mutant/nightkin situation around the Mojave it makes sense that he would try to make a new village around You want shoehorned? Harold in Fallout 3
It bugs me that the combat helmet light doesn't work.
Just noticed I already got 60 hours into Fo4 and just recently I killed Kellog and the BoS showed up. Holy shit I'm exploring a bit too much maybe.
There should be a MKII combat helmet with a full face plate. Should give you a custom HUD similar to power armor, but unique. Should also offer sensor packages like power armor. It should have a working light. And NVG capability. Making it hard to manufacture imperial guardsmen as is. Jeeze.
PSA: Stay off of the fucking wiki. Just got spoiled. Not their fault or anything. Looking up certain npc tables shows race and therefor spoils some pretty significant plot points regarding synths.
I noticed the wiki doesn't give a single shit about spoilers, the companion page comes to mind as one example
I love this game, but jesus after getting to the [sp]institute all the lack of explanations and depth has just pissed me off.[/sp] I have next to no motivation to finish the main story I swear because half of the shit doesn't make sense, doesn't add up, or is just shoved aside. The writing for the first half of the game was promising too. I basically want FO:NV just on the new engine. I miss the AMR, riot armour, the dinner bell, lever action rifles and the gobi campaign sniper rifle. And good writing.
I dunno what the appeal is, looks some super generic sniper rifle someone stuck a pipe and some hazard tape on.
iirc that's because it's literally that wattz rifle is just a glorified palette swap of the old sniper rifle edit: proofs [t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/8/8a/Fo1_laser_rifle.png/revision/latest?cb=20110308062908[/t][t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/7/78/Fo1_Sniper_Rifle.png/revision/latest?cb=20110308062208[/t]

The heavy combat armour shoulders still look silly though
You know despite the fact I have better Power Armour stats wise that I could totally use, like my set of T-60 or X-01... [t]http://i.imgur.com/sxpXtOw.jpg[/t] I really don't want to stop using my T-51b Power Armour, it's my favorite, plus it's cheaper to repair, using less aluminium and still does the job of protecting me well enough.
Anyone know how one exits or enters power armour quickly? I've done it a few times accidentally, but have been unable to replicate it.
You'll quickly leave or enter the Power Armor if there are enemies nearby and you're in caution or danger state.
