I mean, yeah, if you're talking about some shitty reviewers that write for some not really game focused thing, then yeah, but I'm talking about reviewers from actual game websites or publications. They always play the full game. Why do you think they get review copies of the game like a week before?
No they don't. Its actually an issue that has cropped up a lot, with devs finding out that in a few cases, some reviewers they sent copies to, which is just major sites, were barely playing the first level or not even an hour of the game.

I can't get rid of those raider and mongrel bodies at the entrance of Sanctuary. Even after throwing them in the river, they respawn back in the middle of the road.
I just disable bodies after I loot them if they're in an area I want to keep clean
[editline]27th November 2015[/editline]
also is there a way to modify your character's body in game after the initial character customizing? Like through console commands or something?

There's a surgeon in Diamond City, plus showlooksmenu 14 1 opens the surgery menu. You have to use the command, and it won't move your camera to face the PC initially; going into the Body slider menu will move it.

wait, the surgeon has a body slider? I've done like 5 surgeries and I didn't know that :v:
Wtf how come skyrim gets steam backgrounds and badges but 3, NV and 4 don't?

I can sort of understand 3 and New Vegas not having them, seeing as they came out before Skyrim, but I was really expecting 4 to have them. Maybe they'll end up coming out in the next few months?
I hope DLC/mods add a FAL or G3 as a end-game rifle and upgrade the "assault rife" to a full auto only big gun, it's just kinda silly with it's cooling jacket and size when you're using it as a semi-automatic battle rifle.

its awkward to use because your character is sitting down.

Go into the console, click on them and mark them for delete.
MarkForDelete allows a script to set the delete flag on a disabled reference. The reference is placed in a queue for deletion a few frames later. It will not work on enabled references.
Whenever an object is disabled, it remains in memory. With items that can be dropped from inventory but work on their own, every drop and every pickup is a disable. Players could wrack up several hundred useless disabled objects in memory by the end of the game, each running a script (yes, disabled objects still run their scripts). This new function will mark an object for future deletion. When the system does it's normal clean up, the object will be truly deleted, and it's script will no longer be active.
Fallout 3 was really the only game with a clearly defined good/evil mechanic so I guess not a whole lot has changed. In Fallout 1/2/NV karma was an almost completely meaningless mechanic and you'd always be at good karma unless you were absolutely psychotically malicious absolutely all the time. To actually maintain bad karma in Fallout 1/2 you'd have to be periodically massacring every settlement and caravan you come across in random encounters, because it handed out good karma like hot-cakes for killing gangs/raiders and mutants. In New Vegas you pretty much become the second coming of Jesus if you shoot a couple of feral ghouls.
Suffice it to say in Fallout 4 you can still betray people, massacre the innocent, gouge extortionate working fees, etc. The difference being you just don't have the karma rating anymore (which I'd still like mind you, but it's not as if we've lost a lot)

the 100+ instead of 1+ karma for killing bad guys in NV was a bug though and jsawyer adressed it
with the fix you can pretty much leave goodsprings as the worst human being alive because you will keep stealing stuff thinking you can shoot some powder gangers and become gandhi again but nope
it really balances gameplay (well, as far as karma is concerned because karma never changed much to begin with) too because for once you have a reason to not go around picking all the locks and stealing everything not bolted to the ground

Why does your character look so much like Lemmy Kilmister?
Probably late on this, but boy what a lackluster story and ending. Lackluster pretty much the entire RPG aspect of the game, really. The world is at least pretty great, the engine's much improved (still need to replace it though) and compared to Fallout 3 the gameplay is much better. Still, the weapons feel for the most part useless and even with the customization gimmick left me noticeably more dissatisfied than I was with New Vegas's arsenal selection.
It took me about two dozen hours before I realized that exploration wasn't going to net me anything actually cool beyond maybe a skill mag or a bobblehead though.
Seeing as though I've dumped 60 hours in to this playing Survival/Very Hard I'm not going to say that the game's trash or anything, but I've come away less satisified than I was with new Vegas by a large margin. The direction they went in seriously screwed the RPG aspect of the game for me, I couldn't make actually build a character beyond SPECIAL and perks that are mostly terrible, and the premade character the game provides you with isn't even fleshed out enough or the RPG elements deep enough for anything you do or say to matter. Having a preexisting character actually makes it easier for them to tailor dialogue, reactions and consequences and shit, yet they failed to do that. It's like they half-baked the entire RPG part of the game.
Hell, there was one instance in the game for me where my stats actually mattered, and that was having more than 3 intelligence for repairing stuff on a certain quest (rather than buying the parts or taking them from a chest literally five foot away). I was also immensely dissatisfied with the lack of options for completing quests.
Maybe I'm just bored of shooters by this point, but I really don't like the direction they went. Maybe Obsidian spoiled me with New Vegas, but even Fallout 3 managed to at least let you make your character an asshole and affect people beyond asking for more caps or caps up front.
Wasteland 2 here I go!

Curie's cool though, and I liked Nick. They stand head and shoulders over the kinds of NPC's you'd see in Fallout 3, and for me personally I like them as much as some of the New Vegas companions too.

I usually play as a sniper half the time, and a sneak with a silenced pistol the other half- but then i found this gun, and now using any other weapon feels like im gimping myself.

Shooting gen 1's and 2's feels like stepping on plastic toys because the explosives cripple limbs so easily, it stun-locks anything not wearing power armor and with my perks i get massive sneak attack bonuses on silenced weapons. so long as im hidden it will decapitate pretty much anything in one shot from a surprising range.

Is there any way to remove the iron sights EVE for FNV adds? They're so distracting and ugly.
Did I dream when I saw neon signs in one of the trailers or did they remove them from the base building options?
Is there any way to remove the iron sights EVE for FNV adds? They're so distracting and ugly.
You can use FNVEdit to change the weapon's models to the vanilla ones. Don't have a real tutorial for this, but in a nutshell just open EVE's .esp, go to the weapons, and copypaste the file paths for the weapon's models in the vanilla .esm to EVE's .esp. Don't bother with the world model, for some reason EVE only changes the viewmodels so you'll actually be making things look more consistent.
I wish weijeisen didn't have to be so stubborn about having optional .esps for his mods, they're all great but EVE and EWE both add so many unneccessary, awful features you can't turn off. Was real great downloading EWE to improve FO3's energy weapon effects, then finding out it secretly adds goddamned Bob-Omb grenades.

edit: actually this may not work so well
you have to change the paths for the modded versions as well, but I'm pretty sure EVE has a new mod for the laser weapons that has no vanilla equivalent

You could either destroy them yourself or set them for delete in the console, and then place your own turrets exactly where they used to exist.
