Fallout 1 is bretty good, but the friendly AI is dumber than a sovereign citizen.
Also I really want a mod that makes [sp]Drinking Buddy[/sp] essential, I don't feel safe having him in my settlement, anything could kill the poor guy. :ohno: I know it's possible to make him essential using the console, but it isn't a permanent fix since it just resets itself every time you restart the game.
He's marked as protected, meaning only the player can actually kill him.
So how long does it take[sp]Kent[/sp]to get your armor upgrade ready after the quest?
I thought of an idea that I think would have been cool for them to do, I haven't actually beaten the main quest so I'm gonna spoiler tag this just in case they actually do do this and I just haven't gotten that far yet. [sp]Alright, so like, you get far along a certain non-institute questline, like say, the brotherhood. You board the prydwen one day for your next assignment, only to find... you're already there. Talking to the brotherhood officers, a synth duplicate of you, meant to be an infiltrator to replace you. Has your face, cosmetically has your armor (maybe not stat-wise, as that could potentially be overpowered). Cue a scuffle between you and your duplicate, where the brotherhood people can't interfere because they aren't sure which of you is actually which. See, bethesda could actually pull this off, because of the voiced protagonist. I don't know, I thought it would have been cool to have something like that.[/sp]
That would be too cool and creative.
Even after that, does she sill hate it if you are nice to people?
kinda, although the likes/dislikes thing isn't that drastic with Cait as I sometimes help people out and Cait and I are still on good terms. then again, I do ask for rewards (on some quests) and pick locks.
I've had Cait as a companion for so long, that I don't even want to travel with anyone else.
What do you mean "going back and forth in the item list"?
1. Highlight the turret you want (I was using heavy turrets) 2. If it's not the type you want (it'll say MK 1, MK 3, etc before you even place it), use the left/right arrow keys to select the previous (regular Machine Gun) or next (Laser) turret. 3. Reselect the turret you want (Heavy Machine Gun in my case), and repeat if necessary.
I regret not playing Fallout 1 sooner, or rather I regret not giving it a second chance sooner. I think I'm content with not owning Fallout 4 at the moment since I'll probably spend a lot of time just playing through 1, 2 and maybe even Tactics.
I've had >>> Cait <<<as a companion for so long, that I don't even want to travel with anyone else.
BAD TASTE ALERT! Seriously her voice is worse than being told you have 2 years left to live.
Fallout 1 is absurdly short but I love it for that, it feels like a very condensed albeit quite linear experience and it's interesting to see how the series evolved.
Piper or go home guys [editline]27th November 2015[/editline] Then again she gives you free sweets, what's cooler than that?
Fallout 4 pretty much fixed or improved every issue I had with 3 and NV. I can finally say I am addicted to Fallout. :>
IMO, 4 fixes just as many things as it breaks. I can't help but shake the feeling that it's just a great framework for a game that doesn't exist yet. Like it's probably a complete pipe-dream but Obsidian getting their hands on this is the way they did for New Vegas would be amazing. Though that's hardly an unpopular ideal, I guess :v:
Fallout 4 pretty much fixed or improved every issue I had with 3 and NV. I can finally say I am addicted to Fallout. :>
everyone rants and raves about NV but every time I try to get in to it, I end up playing for ten minutes and uninstalling it because it's just it's so bland and it takes so long to do anything. and everything is so uninteresting i cheated to level up enough to do some of the DLC quest areas and those are just as boring as anywhere else in the game. at least fo4 stays consistently entertaining throughout even though it really feels like it has maybe half the sidequests of either of the prior games. i mean when you think about it, scrubbing all of the faction quests there's almost literally nothing to really do

I just found out that [sp]shooting the fusion core while its in power armor will result in a catastrophic failure for the wearer, and the core will shoot out and explode in a mini nuke explosion. I love it[/sp]
When Piper gave me a sweet roll I knew I found the one. Plus I got speech increase.
hey so what is the best companion to have and why?

real men travel alone
God damn I hate super mutants Cleared a camp full of them, a waterplant type place, and as I was going through the corpses and looting stuff, I jumped into a tripwire as I leaped over radiated water and blew up. AAand back to a quick save before engaging them with a sniper rifle. Twice the fun I guess
He's marked as protected, meaning only the player can actually kill him.
Thank god, I shot him to test if he could die or not, good to know he's safe.
am I the only one that just have the companions so I can get the perks? they are all annoying
I have forgotten Codsworth perk but still have him. Perception bonus??
So I just had a vertibird crash into a friendly settlement and kill all 13 inhabitants. forget the institute the true terror roams the skies.
I'd like to use Codsworth but he dissaproves of my chem usage.
So I just had a vertibird crash into a friendly settlement and kill all 13 inhabitants. forget the institute the true terror roams the skies.
Did you know that falling vertibirds kill more people a year than sharks?
