will someone explain the mirelurk queen to me like it just walks over an armful of mines, takes next to no damage and then all my health drains away?
Do what I did: Fatman as soon as you can target it in vats, then take psychojet and go insane with the alien blaster. It died before it went through the wall :v:
You have to have an enemy in the center of the scope and they get a red dot above them.
I've done that and nothing has happened. I'll have to try it again later.
Funny thing is that I fought that thing for like 15 minutes, then I enter inside to see a rocket launcher on a table
What I like about the companions is that most of them aren't introduced as companions and you just find them naturally, then they end up following you.
It was that way in NV The only companion i remember forcing herself into you was Veronica. All the rest you had to work for it and in some cases work really hard. It was good to see that Bethesda learned some new tricks since Skyrim.
rip merge
How do recon scopes work? I've got one on my rifle and it doesn't seem to do anything at all.
Marks people you aim at for your compass, useful for stealth characters because if you're [HIDDEN] you can't normally see people on the compass, as well as the whole "red dot over their head" but it's very tiny and honestly only useful for this at very long ranges.
So I've been experimenting with ReShade, and I actually think Chromatic Aberration looks good in Fo4, it adds to the art style imo. I can't show you guys any pictures because sweetfx doesn't like showing up in pictures. edit: got a picture off nexusmods showing pretty much the same thing: [t]http://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/1230-3-1448241362.jpg[/t]
I want to kill Holt Combes because he's a lazy cheating cunt...then I'll bang Tina De Luca kay.
40 Hours in and i've only just realised that the loading screens are interactive. Neat!
is there a way to tell if your settlers [sp] are synths without killing them? I'm institute, but it seems they still affect happiness. I just murdered everyone in my favorite town and my favorite guy is a fucking synth. I have to kill the guy who has been guarding the town since the start, fuccccccck. We've been through some shit. 2 deathclaw attacks, bloatflies, raiders, gunners, you fucking name it. He's always been a fucking bro. Also, ghouls can be synths, neat. [/sp]
Ok, I found out how but [sp] 2 were synths, only 1 showed the energy thing in vats...fucking weird. I'm really tempted to not kill them, but just keep them all in one settlement for shits and giggles. [/sp]
I made a mistake [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/BNnvUg.png[/t]
There are some locations which are level dependent. Like the building where if you're below 25-30, it'll spawn T-60 (i think) and above that it'll spawn X-01
shit, if that's the location I am thinking about, I already picked up some janky set of T-60 god damnit
Wait, the surgeon in Diamond City can change your body build?
It'd actually be really easy to get NCR ranger armor by reskinning the Minutemen general uniform. Either that, or a model edit of the Silver Shroud outfit by replacing the scarf and shirt with the breastplate of the general uniform. [editline]28th November 2015[/editline] Also, the cage armor is still my favorite thing. I like the Drifter Outfit personally. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/0ob8tT.png[/t] And it doesn't clip to terribly with Combat Armor which is great. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/vtrdiw.png[/t]
So I dug up this old ass widescreen monitor and tried to run the game with it... surprisingly it works. I didn't change anything else about my sistem, just hooked up a widescreen and bam. One problem though. Combat music isn't playing at all. Ambient tracks appear to be running and stopping properly, but when the combat music's supposed to kick in nothing happens. I'm running the latest update, could that be it?
So I just started a new character. Was on the Anchorage front, one of the first to use Psycho. That didn't go through very well for him. Nora brought him some form of stability after he got back to civilian life. For anyone still wondering, completion of the detective sidequest where you find Earl is what triggers the availability of Travis' confidence quest.
Pretty good. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2569/?
With what teeth or jaw for that matter
The weird thing about ghouls is they always only lose the upper part of their heads, look closely and you can still see it's mouth intact.
Ghouls are no fucking joke in FO4, jesus. They have like eight times as much health as in NV and three times as much as FO3's. What a devious beginner's trap they are.
For anyone still wondering, completion of the detective sidequest where you find Earl is what triggers the availability of Travis' confidence quest.
I just heard a guard say the Bobrovs were looking for me and that's what started it. I hadn't done any detective quests.
holy shit it's so fucking infuriating when you're trying to build a thing and you KNOW you can build it there because it turned green for a split second but you're waddling around and falling off your fucking roof trying to find that one miniscule spot where it lets you build it
Ghouls are no fucking joke in FO4, jesus. They have like eight times as much health as in NV and three times as much as FO3's. So uh. How do you fix the bug where when you switch weapons using the shortcuts, your character sometimes takes upwards of ten seconds to actually draw it? I've been killed several times SOLELY because of this.
Using vats normally fixes it for me, since it'll force weapon draw.

Playing Christmas Jazz Music on my Spotify while playing Fallout 4 is just so suiting.
Playing Christmas Jazz Music on my Spotify while playing Fallout 4 is just so suiting.
Death Grips blaring while playing on a psycho-fueled melee only power armor run.
Apparently there's an extra day in the week in the Fallout universe? :v:
