At this point im tempted to start over because im running out of things to do without actually doing half of the shit there was to do in the first place.

1) a mod that will make it so you have to actually talk to preston if you want a radiant quest dumped onto you

2) a mod that disable settlement attacks because fuck I don't care about babysitting settlements especially when I'm in the middle of doing something else.

though i guess 1) would almost eliminate the need for 2)

What's weird about Sanctuary Hills as a settlement is that it's never been raided by ghouls, supermutants, or raiders, but the fucks keep getting kidnapped even with 440 defense and no other resources exceeding that value.

i haven't really done much more with settlements except build a home for a few ghouls and a handfull of people, mainly its where i dump my crap, drop my weapons off, and store my couple suits of power armor, as well as maintain my current suit.

i can't wait to get high enough to find a full suit of x-01 armor, i accidentally went to one of the locations where a full suit of power armor does spawn, and theres a full t-60 there, but mine is already at t-60c

This bothers me so much. I'm a family man that was in the military, watched my wife get murdered and my child kidnapped, and the first thing I do when I go out into the wasteland is eat corpses and fuck a robot and a journalist, but suddenly when a ghoul wants me to fuck her brains out all I can do is whine about my wife.

I need to find that spot and record it. I'm writing up my review script for the game and this is going in my "You don't even have the facade of choice" chapter. Seriously, I just love how 9 out of 10 times no matter what you say in the end it means "yes".

Especially when the game pushes you into the "leader" of the group but you can't make any fucking decisions.

I can't help but get so angry at the game for treating me like an idiot. Like I just throw my hands up and say "what the fuck bethesda" I alt tab, take a break and find myself going back into it. Such a love-hate relationship.

Is there any way to increase the limit of dynamic lights? I got a mod that makes the spotlight & searchlights for settlements hella bright and cast shadows, looks SO good but after placing three down, any more I place doesn't cast shadows. :(

i'm pretty sure you have to actually talk to preston to get radiants

none of that started until i finally joined the minutemen. they didn't continue until i went to hand them in.

Nope he actually just walks up to you and says "I've heard of a settlement in trouble. I'll mark it on your map"

However, I think it only happens when you don't have any active. He'll ignore you if you have like 2 running currently. So I've just let my settlements suffer.

He literally gives me all his quests while I'm making guns or armor.

Anyone else still call the red rocket station home, even after opening a bunch of settlements?

I dunno why, but I can't bring myself to uproot everything and move, so all my junk and my power armor is there forever.
