Metacritic scores are pretty dumb. Except for the user reviews- those ones are [I]really [/I]dumb.
Metacritic is a joke, it really shouldn't be used seriously because it just uses a number based score, completely ignoring anything else that affects a game review. Also, don't expect negative reviews for a big AAA launch, people are scared of being "blacklisted" for expressing opinions contrary to the big publishers.

I'm not using metacritic as a point to anything, i just found funny that the critics had no bad reviews and most of the users just had bad reviews. Like two sides of a really shitty coin.

That's cause most of those bad reviews are actually spam or joke "lmao todd howard liar 0/10 hurr it just wekrs" reviews.

They're not though, there's only a few 100 scores and they're from some obscure or regional sites, other than that it's mostly 80s. "Positive" doesn't mean 10/10.
So I just discovered yet another spot where the game fucking instacrashes. This is on the Xbox one, I can't continue the story or go to warwicks now because it just freezes and sends me to the dashboard. So I'm literally stuck doing nothing but minuteman/Bos escort missions. Not cool..

Quarter to Three had any balls to do any criticism and they are what i would call an "obscure or regional" site
Also they have the terrible tendency of dismissing bugs as "bethesda's charm", a leniency they don't have with any other game.

Did you even read that review yourself? It talks about how some animations are bad and awkward and has a decent amount of visual glitches and some crashes and talks about how the writing is far from perfect. None of the reviews really ignore the glitches and bugs, all reviews I've seen of FO4 talk a decent amount about the bugs, it's just that none of the bugs that are there are really gamebreaking or are so major that they ruin the experience in some way. It's also very possible that the playthrough that the reviewer had didn't have many bugs at all. That's a thing with Bethesda games, for some they're glitchy as hell, while others rarely run into any bugs. They can't write a review based on what kind of bugs other people encountered.
