At last, an open world game set in Chicago. I remember the good old days of Driver 2.

I know a guy called Aiden Pierce in real life, but his existence kind of ruins the cool factor of this guy, because the guy I know is a complete sausage.

Next you know he'll have a laughing smilie thing for a face.

[editline]9th June 2012[/editline] The devs could use some of this to make a draft of Chicago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaahKhvO_E4
Man, finally a protagonist from Northern Ireland, and they make him a domestic terrorist, now I know how the Russians feel.
how do you think I feel, I'm Irish, live in Chicago, and aside from the trench coat tend to dress like that guy and just happen to go to that intersection from the gameplay on a regular basis now
Also a great easter egg/fun thing would be if the Cubs were gonna win the world series and you do some hacking magic and make them lose to keep the universe in balance.
I will beat you with a fucking pogo stick
Honestly, I think most of the scripted stuff there was in the E3 demo could easily be dynamic in the final version. The civilians helping, the woman shot in the car, should be easy enough to implement as long as you've got good pathfinding. As for the car crash, I guess it was scripted only to provide enough cover for the gunplay. What kinda disappoint me, though, is how hacking the light automatically made it green. I'd like to be able to toggle them all red, or only one out of four.
Hope it stays, instead of being just a demo for testing around. EA better not fuck it up. Oh well.
Then that's a good sign.
ea cant fuck it up, because ubisoft is making it.
If it was EA it was already doomed, they'd push the release date and it would turn out being an unfinished piece of shit.
So proud of Ubisoft Montreal. This game is an instant pre-order as soon as it becomes available.

I wonder how many easter eggs we'll see about AC series. Desmod outfit? Someone playing AC3/Expansion on PC in some club?

You should get a jacket like his and then hang around that gallery with your phone out, see if anyone gets worried.
shit I'm gonna have to go back there and do a photoshoot now [editline]e[/editline] with a leather coat, mid-summer
If you did, you'd probably be the first person to cosplay him.
If you did, you'd probably be the first person to cosplay him.
tell ya what, I'm going about 90% towards that part of town on monday, if I get out of work around the time I did friday, it should be around the golden hour of sunset. I'll see if I can't get someone to tag along and shoot a bit. I'm kinda giddy to do this

Damn they're really being tight lipped about anything they haven't revealed at E3, it's killing me! I really want to get my hopes up but if everything is going to be fairly simplistic I'm going to be upset. Atleast I'm getting replies to each of my questions so far, this guy seems like a total bro.
I wonder if you can choose if your character puts his hands in his pocket or not. I think I remember seeing both in the video. Yeah, I'm actually thinking about this above all the other things.
That was the first thing that I thought of when he put his hands out/in the pockets :v:
I don't see why you would want an option for it, he looks badass walking down the street with his hands in his pockets. I honestly can say I haven't played any other game where I've seen the main character do it.

I just hope there's an option to switch, cause I don't want him to randomly take them out now and then.
He only took them out when fiddling with phone and running as far as I remember
He only took them out when fiddling with phone and running as far as I remember
and whenever he has a gun out too.
Remember your alibi, "I'm only pretending to be a terrorist, officer.".
sir I am just having a photoshoot I am a fashion model doing stock photography in the hopes that someone needs a guy sweating profusely in a leather jacket whilst reading text messages in front of a large lit up sign that says CHICAGO on it you know, a cubs fan checking up on the game
