Yes they do, you'll have to manually copy them though, saves can be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames

So I'm considering getting this since GMG still has a 20% off coupon that expires the day after I get paid, but I'm seeing a lot of people talk about overheating and optimization issues.
Is it really that widespread, and could my computer (GTX 560ti, Intel Q9550 2.83ghz quad core, 8GB DDR2 RAM) run it on low settings semi-decently? I don't need 60 FPS but I also don't want to chug and/or burn my house down.

The easiest way to rectify this is to have steam launch it from it's own exe, but have UPlay running in the background first

I've been underwhelmed with the problems but if there is one thing that it did right is it makes me feel bad as shit for every bad thing I do. I'm the type of guy who is empathetic to literally everything, and when I accidentally shoot a civilian who is 50 and goes to sci-fi conventions and is a janitor I suddenly feel like I'm the biggest prick in the world.
This game stutters really bad for me. Reminds me of Saints Row 2 but less fun.
Is the tailing and hacking a different thing online?

I wasn't checking the battery on mine but my nexus 7 but mine gets hot if I play games on it (everything else is fine). After sitting on the login screen for about 5 mintues (uplay was down) my nexus 7 was getting quite hot so clearly something is wrong with the login screen.
If GTA 5 for PC doesn't get announced at E3 (with a decent release date), I'm probably going to get this game next week or the week after.
And all I want to do in the MP is have a gunfight with some people on a train.
