How can I have the Steam overlay for Watch Dogs if I purchased for Uplay?

Okay, I've been debating on whether to get this game or not and after seeing this game get absolutely slammed on Steam I'm not so sure anymore. What do you guys think of it so far?

is anyone getting the invisible pedestrians bug? sometimes i'll see invisible peds walking the street and i can only see the clothes they have on. maybe a problem with nvidia drivers?

The only real reason I was considering it was being able to go around town and dick around with friends.

We're thinking some of it had to do with him being in Australia, and me being in the Midwest US. They don't sync wanted levels, there's immense rubber-banding of vehicles and the city itself, and the police will only chase one person at a time. LuaChobo was being chased and then I became wanted and the police immediately ignored him and went after me, only to go after him again once I evaded them.

However... I just had this bug happen to me. All I can do is reconnect. It wasn't client-side either, he saw me flying into the air.

those are probably the only two outfits i've seen aside from the stock game purchasebles that don't look like ass

So whenever I go to load a continued game it just gets stuck at like 80%. Any fix for this? EDIT: nvm it fixed itself

I actually think it'd be neat to tint the case somehow with that symbol on the back.

Has anyone else gotten a BSOD while playing? I was about to do my first convoy mission and my pc crapped out. I'm a little concerned since I didn't get a screen on reboot.

How the heck do I apply "-disablepagefilecheck"? I don't have the game on Steam.

So, apparently, I JUST ran into this weird glitch that makes the game un-beatable in an extremely annoying way: Half of the game thinks I just started from the beginning, while the other half still thinks nothing is wrong. My campaign works fine, but half of my skills stopped working, I'm stuck on a default Aiden skin, online thinks I haven't went through the introduction yet (cant play it), and all my guns were gone when the glitch happened, and my safehouse decided to restart to the first safehouse in the game, Owl Motel, and I'm about to finish Act 2. Has anyone else encountered anything else like this at all? I seriously don't want to return this game or start all over.

Holy shit this game is laggy as fuck. I can run anything at highest settings but Watch Dogs lags at low. Is this a known problem (hopefully with a solution)?

I lost my save in the BSOD, this sucks... Time to start all the missions I JUST finished.

I just had to start a new game because of it and it's really fucking aggravating.

Did you have to start completely fresh, including things via Online Modes? If so, then I really don't think I want to do that. Losing everything have an 8 hour marathon on this game makes me not want to play it again, out of fear that I'll probably just happen again down the line.

Does anyone know if there's a way to rebind the mousewheel controls? I'm on a laptop, and I don't have one to use. edit: nvm, you can use page up and down
