I was just about to quit playing the game for the night and some random player invaded me, so i chased after him (he was easy to spot, because he was running in the middle of the street) and i had killed him near the train station. i thought that was fun. and also Finally Servers are back!
The game runs well, I have to say.
The 20 seconds of clear playtime followed with 5-10 seconds of stutter and a general <15 FPS is very much playable.
Then again, I compare every game's performance to that of which one was it, Episode 1 or 2 where when Alyx was being healed GMan took you in for a conversation of about 2 minutes, maybe 3.
When I first played it the scene took me 30 minutes, at least.
So, I'm okay with the slight stuttering and low FPS.

There's literally nothing I can do. Watch_Dogs overwrites itself on saves constantly instead of making a new file, so there's absolutely no way for me to go back before the glitch even happened, so I'm pretty sure I have to put back in the 12+ hours that I put into it today all over again, and HOPEFULLY, the glitch doesn't happen again, considering my Disc is perfectly clean with not one smudge or mark on it.
It's really weird hearing my name on the T.V whenever there's an advertisement for Watchdogs.
Is the game worth picking up right now? or would it be better to just wait a couple months.

to be honest I think it's super fun - although the driving is unrealistic it's so slick and feels so smooth (even though crashes are rather unsatisfying), there's plenty of side activities and even though they're a little bit repetitive, no-one is asking you to do them at the same time, all at once. i've been driving around, getting invaded, doing some missions and looking after civilians and i'm not bored yet at all, i'm 7% through at about 6-7 hours ([sp]Just met "Clara"[/sp])
I mean, if you want to get it now I don't think there's anything to stop you - the content and fun is there, although if you do buy it expecting all of the hype that came with it - wait.

Had some really weird stutters where the game was actually completely responsive (could open up the menu, change settings, etc) except for the actual gameplay. I was driving around and then this happened, as if the LOD had fucked up

All except the last one, it eventually loaded everything and continued. I was curious, so i checked the disk activity, and instead of the as-usual massive pagefile writing going on (seriously what's with that), it was trying to read the windy_city.dat.
Steam also refuses to validate the files.
Goramit minimap's fucked. Doesn't show anything else than the map. No icons of any kind.

Servers are still fucked it seems. W_D tweeted at me like an hour ago saying they have no ETA for the fixes, but they're working on it. So it seems like some lucky people get to play online, others are SOL for the time being.
The alone mini game is pretty awesome. I could do that for a while.

I noticed something about the PS4 version..
It doesn't require PS+ for multiplayer. I think this is the first retail game on the PS4 that doesn't require it for online modes.
