Had this happen earlier, I love these moments.
I wanted to play this, but any time I drive the car, it tries to kill itself. Even on low, when everything runs nice on high. At first I thought it was my PC, but seeing everyone else have the same problem.

And Ubisoft's borderless is a piece of shit. Every Ubisoft game I ever played with borderless/windowed it never kept the mouse in the game, meaning I'd end up opening other programs while playing, or just impossible to play with a mouse. And the game is so quiet.

There is no wonder why the ctOS mobile challenge is easy as fuck, it takes ages for mobile users to get a match. 90% of the people i've come against have just been sitting there doing nothing.
Now that I made the game playable through all of the fixes involving forced Geforce settings and such, holy shit the detail put into this game. Fuck fake reflections and physics-breaking fire hydrants, this feels like a real city and the song selection (at least the older ones like the songs from Chicago and the jazz/soul/blues) is great for the atmosphere. The "bad" screenshots look nothing like the actual game when you force 1920x1080 through the gameprofile file. And the streets are filled to the brim with cars and people doing all sorts of things.

I just finished an invasion.
I blew up a transformer before the I initialized a hack (because I fucked up, the transformer was close to my target) but it gave me the perfect car to hide in.

Invasions are weird. I tried to invade a guy and hack him but no timer appeared and I couldn't even start the hack. I followed him for ages and started acting weird as fuck and he didn't seem to understand. I pulled out a gun and wasted everybody around him and my morality is fucked now.

After you hack you gotta press x to initialize. Wherever you initialize the hack is where the centre of the search area will be as far as I've been able to tell.

Yeah, that's how it played it the first few times. I was stood right in his face with my profiler on him and nothing happened. He honestly seemed really confused and I couldn't kill him and he couldn't kill me.

It actually looks quite nice IMO. I'm not even running it at max settings (more like medium) and I say its perfectly fine. Cutscenes are usually decent. I'm also a sucker for rain in games. :v:

It just happened to me right now, I invaded a guy who was in free-roam, no timer, no hack.

So I invaded an apartment complexes privacy, as you do, and it got me into a camera in an apartment. A plumber had just finished his job and the woman who lived there was...VERY appreciative. At which point she suggested he take a look at a few other places that needed fixing, but that his "tool" wouldn't fit. To which he assured her that he was an expert at fitting his tools into "tight spaces." Welp. GOTY.

Ok, odd. Using -disablepagefilecheck made the game lag like shit when I looked at traffic and whatnot. Without it, I'm getting about 40 fps. With it I got 10.

On the complete flip side, i've seen one guy, fresh out of prison, sticking a gun in his mouth, one that sounded like someone in the other room convincing themselves to commit suicide, and one where the guy (who survived cancer) is laying on the ground and there's a message on his phone from his son saying he'll stop on by later since he hasn't heard from him in a few days.

I don't know what settings you are using, but it seems like AA is way more taxing in this game and it provides a big boost when lowered, maybe due to the view distance being pretty good (awful pop in though) and likely lots of object and building geometry proving too straining. If you haven't tried it already, try Temporal SMAA and maybe tweak shadows down, as well as using medium LOD in combination, hope it helps you at least.
