Can you provide a link?
http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4581604 Just use that and replace the specific dlls with those in the x64 folder.
If you're the one getting invaded what happens if you just leave the invasion circle? They have to approach you to keep the hack going right?
http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4581604 Just use that and replace the specific dlls with those in the x64 folder.
I still get a d3d11.dll error thingy.
[t]http://puu.sh/95yWe/efda9aa69a.png[/t] This is getting stupid.
so whats your fav outfit and why is it rural
Fedoraman is my favorite. I can be a vigilante and tip to m'ladys at the same time
If you're the one getting invaded what happens if you just leave the invasion circle? They have to approach you to keep the hack going right?
I'm pretty sure the hack rate increases if you try and leave.
So two questions 1) With the following setup, I freeze/crash a lot in Watch Dogs. Like I can't even play. Every time I try within 15 minutes my game has crashed. Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge NVidia GTX 760 SC 16GB DDR3 Ram @ 1600 MHz 2) What's "good" for a passmark benchmark score? I scored like 3400 when I tested with my GTX 560 Ti and I just scored 3800 with my GTX 760 SC this seems like a really shit score. I wanna play watch dogs but I fucking can't can someone help? I have already tried: -Patching to the 337.88 NVidia Drivers -Playing in offline mode (Which I don't want to do anyway I want to fucking invade people)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3-C5QKIvY2zVWZLRE00NG9DbkE/edit?usp=sharing Apparently this is a thing. Also watch for something in the lower right corner in the last 5 seconds.
The only time I managed to surrender is by having only one star and having my weapon holstered. Aiden then raises his hands automatically and you wait for the cops to arrest you or do something else. I haven't tried doing it on higher wanted levels, though. Also, something really fun to do is to try to get 5 stars and escaping without killing anyone.
I don't get it... they keep shooting at me. Do I need my weapon holstered before or after the arrival of the police?

I'm done playing for the night but people should add me! "Delta_616" On Uplay.
If it weren't for the stuttering, I can run this pretty well, TXAA practically eliminated the jaggies. The game looks so nice.
I don't get it... they keep shooting at me. Do I need my weapon holstered before or after the arrival of the police?
Not sure, try having your weapon holstered before they reach your location. I've only managed to surrender just that one time.
Why is it recorded with a camera, and why is the player the youtube player but wait it's on google drive?
I don't have a video recorder installed. Its one of those things you don't realize until something happens.
I just hacked my first target. I turned to go into a parking lot when my target rams my car head on. I initiated the hack like 5 seconds before that so he hops out and starts looking for me. He never thinks to go back and check the driver of the car who rammed him at the start of the hack. I just sat there in my van the entire team watching him running around looking for me. Also. Wherever you initiate the hack is where it shows the center of the hack to be. As it gets smaller it will move closer to you but it won't center on you. So go nuts.
Guys seriously
I got 6400ish and I can run the game on medium well enough half that, not sure if it would run at all
I got 6400ish and I can run the game on medium well enough half that, not sure if it would run at all
My game runs perfectly at high settings. My problem is that after like 2 minutes of playing I crash.
Also, can someone tell me what to do in order to invade someone's game?
So after finishing this game and getting to about 88% complete in the progression, I have some extended thoughts. I will never 100% this game. The fact that completing some of the online multiplayer modes is required is stupid. I'm absolutely terrible at them. I've already done all the races, because you don't even need to win those. The decryption just relies on your team not being stupid, but if you end up in a 2v2 situation it's pretty easy to win. I'm absolutely terrible at online hacking, I've played probably 15-20 games and I've only won 2 of them. Online tailing I don't want to even attempt again. I tried once, the guy got in a boat and went across the river nearby, spawned a car and I couldn't catch up from there because my vehicle spawned like 200m away. Enough to deter me from even trying. Criminal convoys are okay, but I wish it was more obvious about whether you had to take down or eliminate, outside the original message when you start the mission. Fixer missions are annoying as shit, I don't enjoy them at all. Gang hideouts were probably my favourite, but that's mostly due to my playstyle of take down everyone. I feel they'd be pretty trivial if you just shot everyone. Taking down criminals is also somewhat enjoyable, but I wish there was more variety in the side missions overall. The only collectible objective that was fun was the privacy invasions, and that's only because you get to see little clips which are a mix of being really dark or sad, or outright hilarious. [sp]On a side note, anyone else found the Aisha Tyler invasion? Cool little cameo. There were probably more, but that's the only one that I really noticed.[/sp] The missions at the end of the Weapons Trade, Human Traffic, QR code and Missing Persons collectibles are almost completely pointless and not exciting at all. Don't bother. Now, for the story. Of course, major spoilers ahead!!! [sp]The ending was stupid, the last mission of act 4 the entire story just falls apart. While the very last mission was fun to play, it just comes out of nowhere. The game's entire premise of 'this guy killed my niece I must get revenge' is stupid in it's own right, but I was willing to overlook that because the actual narrative and writing of most of the story was really well done. But the last mission of act 4 was ridiculous. The entire thing was a misunderstanding? Killing off one of the main characters when she goes to pay respects to your niece? After the first set of credits giving the player the choice to kill or leave Maurice even though it actually has no effect on anything except for your own 'moral compass'? I just feel like they game was cut in half because Ubisoft realised they could milk this as a series considering how many people were interested based on their hype trailers. All the loose ends were tied up in the span of about 30 minutes, and the set-up for a possible sequel was more than obvious, I already have some ideas as to what the story for a possible sequel will end up being and how it will turn out.[/sp] Very entertaining game, fun to play for most of it, but the fluff content is almost useless and to me it feels the multiplayer is very one-sided - though again, I'm probably just terrible at it. Oh well, I'd say it was worth my $50 but mostly because it's just another game engine to fuck around with friends in free-roam multiplayer.
Is it just me or can you not find anyone with the mobile app?

I mean sure, he probably knew her for awhile when her real identity wasn't known to him, but was her death supposed to be sad or something, because it really wasn't.[/sp]

If you listen to the audio recordings Quinn approves a hit on her because she took payment to find Adrian on behalf of Quinn in the first place. However she never finds Adrian and doesn't give the money back.[/sp]
Is it just me or can you not find anyone with the mobile app?
I've only found one person, and it disconnected halfway through. [editline]29th May 2014[/editline] Also multiplayer is still completely broken for me, and the more I think about it the more I realize how ridiculous it would be to do a complete reformat and downgrade it would be to be able to play one component of one game. I think I'm just going to treat the game as singleplayer for now. Still frustrated beyond belief though.

As a side note, I still think it's fucking stupid when games use things like optional audio logs to explain extra parts of the story, which are in some cases pretty vital to understanding everything that happened. I'm sure people who don't listen to any of them aren't going to have a clear idea of why Clara was killed.[/sp]
Switching to W7 worked for me.
Which says that 8/8.1 is the problem? Why should we downgrade just to play the game?
Switching to W7 worked for me.
That is so damn awful though. How does a AAA game like this get through QA and out the door without them seeing such a glaring issue.
I've never had a problem with it on Win8.1. It's Ubisoft's networking. I can't connect to a specific friend unless he puts his internet on a public facing IP because uPlay keeps trying to connect him to my internal IP.

There were a number of people on here, reddit, and the uplay forums all confirming that they couldn't connect and they were all on 8.1. darkrei9n is now the second person to confirm that switching from 8 to 7 fixes it.
