I seriously can't believe how simple of a fix that was.
Just did my first Online Hacking session. I have never been so happy to fail.
So what is the verdict? Is everyone still in agreement it's not worth $60? I was going to buy it on release but I held off because it was a lot of money and I was hearing a lot of bad things.
my 780ti, 8GB DDR3 1333 and i5 4670k no OC struggles with the game too. I'm very rarely up in 60fps, and my average FPS is 40 with dips down to 30 at times. it's insane. the 780ti is supposed to be the best consumer GPU you can get, yet this game runs like shit
I have the same CPU and a 770 and I have the exact same framerate. Something is wrong with this game.
Is one of the home invasions a guy playing Russian roulette with a prostitute?

Wait a week or 2 to be sure, because right now it's so hard to play the game I can tell you it's not worth it. When you can play, it's really fun but it's a hassle as of now.

I've accepted the fact that the graphics won't live up to the dev build they posted as a teaser at E3 anyway, so I've just set mine to preset High and TXAA 2x. Rarely drops below 60FPS now, still looks alright.
just encountered a hacker in an online decryption session who was invulnerable and spammed nadelauncher :v:
I accidentally a sportscar on a sidewalk, and now my reputation sunk from waay into the blue and down into gray. Whoops.
Add me on uplay guys, I want to play multiplayer with some of you when I wake up later.

Anyone have problems with matchmaking? 1v1 take 15 minutes to even find a game, and anything else never finds shit.

Try disabling all your adapters except for the one that is actively giving you your internet connection.

Also uplay is having some connection issues again right now from what I can tell.

What os?
Is it normal that the game CTDs every time I try to play online hacking or tailing?

Windows 8.1
Is it normal that the game CTDs every time I try to play online hacking or tailing?
Yes that is a completely intended behavior and everybody who is actually playing online is experiencing an abnormality.
Game has completely shit itself for me.
Yesterday I could play with 50-60fps on medium-high, but now the game stutters like hell, no matter where I am or what I do.
Other than the kinda shitty car handling, it's pretty fun.
Not sure if this was posted before:
oh my god im trying to get the "kill 4 enemies while in focus" action, but i can barely get three
Upgrade your focus, if that doesn't work, play some of the lower level chess puzzles! That'll unlock critical focus. Then just cause some mayhem, and kill 4 bunched up cops.

I'll try this out soonish. It's still being shitty for me, maybe it's Hamachi or Evolve fuckin' me up.
Oh wow this is just great:
Ad campaigns for games are pretty rare in my country so I was quite surprised to see these handed out in the subway (metropol is an actual free newspaper):

Then multiple news sites started reporting about the disappearance of the original metropol newspaper who is threatening with legal steps now (meanwhile no one had any idea this was about a videogame).
This went as far that the police had to issue a statement where they disprove that their spokesperson told the paper they are investigating about these signs on buildings (bonus points to Ubisoft for using the real name of the actual spokesperson and the picture of the police headquarters in Budapest).
So with the following setup, I freeze/crash a lot in Watch Dogs. Like I can't even play. Every time I try within 15 minutes my game has crashed.
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge
NVidia GTX 760 SC
16GB DDR3 Ram @ 1600 MHz
I wanna play watch dogs but I fucking can't can someone help?
I have already tried:
-Patching to the 337.88 NVidia Drivers
-Playing in offline mode (Which I don't want to do anyway I want to fucking invade people)
How many times do I have to quote myself before I get some help?
Additional Things I have tried:
-Renaming 'My Documents\Watch_Dogs' to 'Watch-Dogs' no dice
-Disabling u-play overlay
-Resetting graphics to default
If it helps anyone figure this out this only started happening when I upgraded to my GTX 760 SC. This didn't happen on my 560 Ti. Both were/are using 337.88 drivers

Have you tried completely reinstalling your graphics drivers? (ie: completely deleting them from your system and then installing them fresh?)
Did you uninstall the drivers and then reinstall them after swapping cards?
Even though they're the same drivers, it can royally fuck some shit up if you try that. But I suspect you did, as you'd probably have problems even booting into windows had you not
You can try disabling Steam and X-Fire overlays (X-Fire overlay + World of tanks = No framerate for me, so it's something to always look at as a culprit)

play windowed mode
Personally I didn't have any problems with playing the game but after watching this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idA9BEA4Hxs) it brought to light what a lackluster experience it's been, so I uninstalled immediately.

oh my god shut up.
What's annoying is when you get invaded whilst in the middle of a police chase. What do they expect me to do? I literally have to die so I can focus on the hacker.

Ubisoft support is gonna have a headache when the cheating accusations start coming in.
"Ban this guy! He's a hacker!!!"
- "Umm, that's... kinda... the point..."
Have you tried completely reinstalling your graphics drivers? (ie: completely deleting them from your system and then installing them fresh?)
I just upgraded my GPU I've already installed them from the very beginning.

Windows/NVidia did that automatically.
I have it on U-Play and I already tried disabling the U-Play overlay

That's why I toggle focus every so often to make sure someone's not invading me.
