It might be your CPU, but in case it isn't, changing from fullscreen to borderless window let me bump all my stuff up from medium to high/ultra and still keep a decent framerate.

Tried changing that around, doesn't really improve anything. If anything when I change it drops it even lower regardless of what I change it to.

Okay so positive update, used Razer Game Booster and dropped texture quality (which for some reason was defaulted to ultra). Runs much more smoothly now with settings preset at high.
Razer Game Booster really helps, honestly.
I would assume its the turning textures down from Ultra rather than Razer Game Booster but I might just be crazy

I literally only use the 1911, it's my favourite pistol in everything else and given that there's not hilariously unrealistic damage models (bar the enforcer fuckers) it's also extremely viable to use it 90% of the time. It sounds good, looks good and you always look like a total badass rolling up to a group of gangsters with that hidden behind your back.
Shame on the people ONLY using silenced weapons, takes most of the challenge out of it considering that you can just speed run a hideout and missions by just sprinting around, spamming focus mode and headshots. Shame on you, you know who you are.

grenade launcher is a joke most of the time though. i shot a guy's sports car dead on and it just blew the windows out and left the car/driver intact. then right before i got to him the game desynced and i was launched into space because the bridge went from normal to raised instantly when i was on it.

I brought them down only one notch, and without game booster, the game still fucks off into the realm of 5 frames per second when I enter a car.
I only use the silenced 1911 because all the other guns sound like shit.

It was an interesting bug...in a somber sort of way.

Also, i felt really bad today after neutralizing a gang hideout that belonged to the mobsters;
I usually mix non-lethal takedowns and silenced headshots when clearing hideouts.
Half of all the dudes in this particular docks hideout had regular jobs etc. then there was this really young guy who was currently planning his sons first birthday party.
He was one of the guys that took a silenced goblin burst to the back of his head :(

I decided early on that blume people are Kill on site for me, after I was so rudely shot at minding my own business while walking down the street.
It's hilarious how you'll slow walk past a crime probability guy or a blume site along side several other NPCs walking on the sidewalk but they're instantly like hey WOAH YOU CAN'T BE HERE.

So, uh, been loving this game until literally 5 minutes ago. Do an online invasion, hack the guy and win, my computer freezes and I had to do a hard restart (it does this every few days and i'm too lazy to fix it). Launch Watch_Dogs, continue button is greyed out. I'm gonna be pretty upset if I have to start a new game.

I use the chrome revolver a lot with online players. It's more powerful than the smgs and more accurate. Hell you can fucking snipe with the thing and it deals damage on the same level as the rifles without the retarded recoil.
For SP missions and that I use the suppressed 1911 with a kinda aggressive stealth.
Anyone playing this game with lower tier graphics cards and hardware? Say like an HD 7770? I'm wondering how the game is running.

Parks and Rec is Pawnee, Indiana, which is a fictional location. There is a real life Pawnee, Il, but it's nowhere near Chicago and isn't notable at all.
So yeah they probably named it after the show despite it being a different state because close enough

When you manage to play the game it,s a blast, but Uplay is being a shit right now.

It's pretty fun after you lower the texture quality to fix the stuttering, and plug in a gamepad. Or, you know, just play it on a console.
I would probably describe it as a mixture of GTA, Far Cry 3, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
the mobile versus would be so much fun if it actually worked without disconnecting after the first 10 seconds
