I lost a hack because singleplayer trainers work in multiplayer because Ubisoft is still fucking retarded and doesn't know you can't trust networked data, and then 2 in a row because the fucking cover system sucks dicks. I'm probably fucking done with this, it's impossible to get a good hack even 50% of the times when the area you're allowed to travel before the hack is so small.
This would probably explain why I can't fucking find anybody sometimes even though there's no place to hide. [editline]3rd June 2014[/editline]
Why is no one talking about Defalt? Not going to say who he is just incase for spoilers, but I see his name not being mentioned once, and he was fucking cool.
I think you have it's just everyone calls him Deadmau5 instead.
The reason no one talks about Defalt is that he was only relevant for one mission
Jordi Chin in way more interesting than Aiden Pierce, i want a game about him
Jordi Chin in way more interesting than Aiden Pierce, i want a game about him
Wouldn't surprise me if there was a DLC released for him. After all, there's going to be a T-Bone one.
The only time I ever seem to get invaded is by having a bounty on me by hacking one of the blume affiliates, which is a give away in itself :v:
Alright, I'm done with QR Codes, Investigations, Human Trafficking, Privacy Invasions, Weapons Trades, ctOS Towers. The last of the collectibles I need are some songs and two ctOS breaches I can't figure out. I just started act 3 and I'm 60% done.
Just failed a tailing mission. Guy was chasing me on a motorcycle so I couldn't lose him, eventually had the amazing idea to just slam on my brakes, he hit the back of my car went flying off his bike and I managed to evade because of it. :v:
I don't think I've ever been tailed. Does it tell you ever or are they allowed to simply get in and get out, no notification?
Jordi Chin in way more interesting than Aiden Pierce, i want a game about him
Play Sleeping Dogs. There's no Jordi in it, but there's a lot of batshit insane suit wearing gangsters going around.
I honestly wouldn't mind a DLC focused around Defalt and more of the [sp]skiddy/scene hackers Clara mentioned[/sp]. I can see there being a good few things you could do with them, I mean you're clearly not the only one who can abuse ctOS so why not have a manhunt dlc or something? Also if you have the game with the exclusive Dedsec missions, [sp]you learn quickly that Aiden doesn't like them[/sp].
I could play decryption if FFA and team gamemodes were split into two, and vehicles got nerfed. No decryption progression when moving too fast, that would work.
Gotta admit, after putting a few hours into the game it's a lot prettier than I gave it credit for pre-release. [t]http://i.minus.com/iz3nFDU8Odjfx.jpg[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/ibmNe9ueOtuoRV.jpg[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/ibaf7VPm12yK1T.jpg[/t] Also, heh. [t]http://i.minus.com/iZ0lPfOLBMtgb.jpg[/t]
I could play decryption if FFA and team gamemodes were split into two, and vehicles got nerfed. Ok yeah sure, I got bored so I decided to try out how resolution affects performance. I went from 1080p to 720p with roughly the same FPS. Seriously, Ubisoft? And then I went joyriding, figuring since I hadn't played online hacking, it wouldn't probably make someone invade me. I was driving from Mad Mile to the district where the game starts, and the hacker had to start the hack in the middle of fucking nowhere, in the world's worst spot - only reason he got as far as he did is because I spotted a boat in the water when I was driving on the bridge, so I went out of my car and jumped into the water to get the boat. Got back on the bridge, shot a few civilians, spotted a sports car doing donuts, popped 2 Destroyers into the damn thing and it died instantly. He tried to jack an NPC's car, so I put a bullet into the car whilst he was going through the animation of stealing the car from the NPC, and then I put a bullet into his head. He didn't even have a chance because of how shitty the location was.
What does the morality system even fucking do? Good or bad ending bullshit?
What does the morality system even fucking do? Good or bad ending bullshit?
Bad morality = news broadcasts about you and citizens will automatically identify you and call the cops if they see you because of it, and you will get the cops called on you more often Good morality = get the cops called on you a lot less often and if you have high morality, you can often just walk around with a gun and no one will call the popo Doesn't affect the story at all
Basically you can't just be a criminal unless you wanna seriously have a detriment against you.
Can you actually complete the Madness digital trip. And if so is there a reward? Like the kick ass car?
Can you actually complete the Madness digital trip. And if so is there a reward? Like the kick ass car?
I'm at the point of smashing my table, 5th fucking time I failed the 30 killstreak because of an obstacle I hit, what a load of shit. They should have increased the time limits for the killstreaks, to be honest.
Clara is [sp]Lisbeth Salander.[/sp]
Can you actually complete the Madness digital trip. And if so is there a reward? Like the kick ass car?
The trip has an end. The reward is a Madness themed outfit for Pearce.
I'm at the point of smashing my table, 5th fucking time I failed the 30 killstreak because of an obstacle I hit, what a load of shit. They should have increased the time limits for the killstreaks, to be honest.
Yeah, it gets pretty tricky near the very end when it comes to killstreaks. That's the hardest part because you physically have to run over demons to get a killstreak, you can't use the blade things, or the fireblast powers to raise it either. There is a strategy required for the minigame though. If you're just driving around with no particular direction, it is very hard to keep a consistent killstreak because the constant turning will probably throw you off. The best course of action is to stick to a long stretch of road that is almost completely straight. If you're not using it already, I would recommend using this stretch of road: [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/451796939955276969/9A7A779DA74A0D86E68D5966282D75AE465F660C/[/t] It begins near the bottom of the Loop, and goes to the very top of Mad Mile. Once you reach either end, you can pretty much just turn around and go straight back to the end opposite of you. It made getting a killstreak a lot easier since you don't have to worry about turning.
Holy shit, Jordi's voice actor was Chief Tyrol in Battlestar Galactica. I never would've guessed.
The trip has an end. The reward is a Madness themed outfit for Pearce.
Do you have a pic of what it looks like?

If it had been called a notoriety system and dropped the stupid titles like vigilante/anarchist/etc it would have been a lot clearer.

I always just thought of it as a reputation scale. Those titles are really just indicative of how the public sees you though. If you're on the darker side of the meter, you're appropriately seen as an anarchist, or menace to the public - People fear you, you're constantly in the news in a negative light and people just don't see you as a good thing.
Wow, I feel really bad. Just finished a mission, which teleported me to the [sp]bunker[/sp] at the end of it. Someone invades me by spawning infront of me, and ofcourse there are no NPC's in that area. Needless to say they lost instantly.
