Police has issued a warrant for Vigilante Aiden Pearce, however citizens are enthusiastic about his actions, thus police have hard time finding his whereabouts. Protecting Aiden Pearce can lead towards criminal charges.
It's not perfect quote, it's close to what you can hear on a radio.
Also, sometimes when you run with a gun or fire few shots, some civilian will say "I know you, don't worry. I won't call cops but you better get out from here".

2. Yes, reputation affects you, the more negative rep the more often civilians will call 911 when they spot you. When you have positive reputation they usually just take pictures of you and/or tell you that you better move before the cops arrive.

A simple tip to ... probably boost your reputation from -100 to +100 in a very fast time.
Get into Criminal Convoy, startle them, so they chase you around.
Get on a highway or cause a big traffic accident/jam and let criminals fire at your general direction in the middle of civilian traffic stuck in the accident.
Now walk around the cars and try to find rescuable citizens inside crashed cars.
Each of such rescues gives you this big (double arrow) boost towards vigilante reputation.
If you empty that location (run out of civilians in cars), get in a car and drive to a different location.
I have been playing for more than 15 hours on PS4 yet I have only been invaded once. :suicide:

Profile NPCs and hack phones of every "Blume affiliate" then let them call Blume and finish the call, you're gonna get invaded almost immediately.

I'm using the tip I got earlier of raising reputation by rescuingcivilians from cars. That requires me to leave MY car and take down all but one of the enemies, and keep him alive as to make more civilians need rescue.
I managed to finally go from like -50 to +100 reputation though.
And then I accidentally blew up a thing in the ground causing me to kill a civilian when I was just trying to hack a guy standing on top of it.

Just bought it for about $35 from a left over $25 steam gift card I had.
I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I need a decent open world game to have fun in, I don't have any extremely grand expectations out of it so I'm sure I won't be super disappointed. If its at least as good as sleeping dogs but not hong kong I think I'll like it. Sleeping dogs didn't keep my interest for super long mostly because the setting/plot/protagonist I didn't care for at all.. the premise behind Watch Dogs and the city of chicago (which I love and have been to) are more interesting to me though.
It does make me sad that the story appears to just go into your standard crime story but at least I'm not playing as a gangster trying to make his way up in the crime world. I literally can't play any of the GTA games for long because I don't care about that premise at all. Crime fiction by itself is just super damn boring for me.

I know it's been said before, but I would totally love a Jordi dlc. There's not enough of him and to those saying play Sleeping Dogs, as someone whose beaten it before there's not any characters that are like Jordi in that.
