i'm wondering what that guy's first thoughts are gonna be when (if?) he regains consciousness
i mean, some trenchcoat-wearing dude jumped from a random bush pointing a gun at you, parkoured like Alex Mercer when you tried to make your escape, somehow blew a fuse box in your face, and then pulled that crazy leap and beat you senseless with a telescopic baton he pulled from his sleeve
can an average person's day get any crazier?
Well the police officers saw him magically summoning roadblocks to total one car, derail the other with a single well-aimed pistol shot, then completely failed to shoot him like 30 times while he halted a train and rode its roof top.
Plus there's this witness he beat up that's babbling about bush guns and Alex Mercers and telescope sticks.

That walk cycle is literally one of the best I've seen in any game so far.

swag mode engaged when he puts his hands in his pockets
Funny how the $29,700 income housekeeper gives money to the hobo war vet, and the tobacco company executive with $115,000 income doesn't even turn to look at him
Also good guy Aiden: hack CEO's bank account, withdraw money, give it to hobo.
There should be a "Robin Hood" positive reputation thing if you do that
Holy shit I'm hyped already.
Pc release is most likely in early 2014, and for PS4 it's 2013.

No, I think this'll be a simultaneous gig.
PS4 is x86 so porting's not gonna take that long.

...Mirror's Edge?
I swear, if Ubi screws up with Day-1-DLC or some BS... I reeaally want to give them all the monies for this game.
Against all odds I'm also intrigued by the multiplayer (that'll hopefully come with an opt-out anyway) after the suggestions in this thread.
Exciting stuff all around.
Day 1 DLC: iPhone looking phone skin.
Just to fuck with expectations of people, without really letting anyone down.

The parkour bits feel more like assassins creed rather than mirrors edge. I'm assuming it'll be kept to some sort of special run button like AC, rather than a billion buttons to jump over a ledge like mirrors edge.
I am hoping for lots of character customization. Different coats and shit man

They showed off gameplay on the PC last year at E3, why would we be getting PC later?

in mirrors edge you just had to jump and look at the object you wanted to climb
not a billion of buttons

A billion buttons is a bit of an exaggeration, but my main point is that while games like AC (and proly watch dogs) will have a easy nagivation button to get around stuff, while it takes multiple timed button presses to do pretty much anything beyond the basics in mirrors edge.

Because Ubisoft agreed for time exclusivity, which helps Sony move more consoles at launch.

What about timed button presses like Sleeping Dogs

Source? All other sources say Q4 release for all platforms. Ubisoft confirmed that last year.

I have no idea where they've gotten the source though, haven't thought to look for an official Ubi statement.

Yeah, you are incorrect on the timed exclusive part, but it says nothing about the PC.

maybe they're just releasing it three hours later for pc

notice that this is the Ubisoft trailer and at the end it says Fall 2013, not holiday nor winter

If we're using that argument we can link to GTA V release dates before R* changed them.
I think what he meant is he didn't know what it was
I just thought the parkour stuff had already been covered by the AC example.
Waiting time between console and PC release is gonna be terrible. Dodging spoilers, missing all the "watercooler" stories where people exchange stories based on organic gameplay... oh well. Patience is a virtue.

While there isn't much deformation on the car itself, I do like how the bollard was displaced by the impact.
Also, Watch Dogs? More like Watch All These Pretty Particle Effects.

And just the way the NPCs seem to be reacting is so realistic.
If we're using that argument we can link to GTA V release dates before R* changed them.
you'd expect that a trailer released on the day of the conference would have same dates as in the conference if both the console and the game would be launching at the same time
