... Oh, I'm pretty sure you would also mess with things inside of them, not just around.
hack the vibrators
hack the vibrators
Kill people by blowing up their vibrators [editline]23rd February 2013[/editline]
Wouldn't be the first time they've said this and then delayed the PC version only anyways.
I think I saw an article about Ubisoft trying to make up with PC gamers. So I guess it could be true this time. Or not lmao
i hope theres more outfits to help you evade the police in.
this is next generation tech.
This is too funny. It is also coming to current gen otherwise why would they release 360 and ps3 box art?
No, thats far from accurate. That WAS a randomly generated dynamic event. You have nothing to base your doubt off of, this is next generation tech.
i remember how we were saying the same thing about current gen, last gen. all current gen is is last gen with better frame rates and much better graphics. all the cool insane physics and dynamic water and all that shit, NEVER HAPPENED. [editline]22nd February 2013[/editline] Next gen doesn't even apply anymore. it's been fully proven in the past that "next gen" doesn't mean shit except reps and devs promising a whole lotta bullshit [editline]22nd February 2013[/editline] i mean seriously, ever since the dawn of 3d gaming each "next gen" starting with the ps1 and n64 has had outlandish promises made that were never even close to being met.
all the cool insane physics and dynamic water and all that shit, NEVER HAPPENED.
Which is a goddamn shame. Games have been good looking enough for years already imo, now I just want better everything else.
wow the ps4 is coming out q4 this year? i didn't think it would be so soon... buy a ps4 or upgrade my decade old computer....
My only option, really, is to buy a PS4. Upgrading my PC would cost ~£600 to be a noticeable upgrade.
I want more in depth gameplay mechanics than just cover and shoot. Oh wait we're getting that. Color me happy.
I just wonder what kind of specs you'll need to run the thing.
I just wonder what kind of specs you'll need to run the thing.
just from looking at the gameplay id ask nasa about that
just from looking at the gameplay id ask nasa about that
I mean I feel like it'll be playable on a mid-range PC for sure but I don't really know what kind of settings we're looking at.
In this video, the player steals $420 from the ATM and the car he hides behind is black. But in this video, he steals $780 and the car is red. And some of the peds' location and clothing are different as well.
Funny how they say it's PS4 gameplay when it was on the PC
Funny how they say it's PS4 gameplay when it was on the PC
well they used a ps4 controller then because there were PS buttons
I mean I feel like it'll be playable on a mid-range PC for sure but I don't really know what kind of settings we're looking at.
They said the "PS4 demo" was actually running on a PC with PS4 level hardware... so I'd say mid-range sounds accurate.
well they used a ps4 controller then because there were PS buttons
Well yeah, you could see the lad standing in the shadow, crying tears of liquid black sorrow for not getting to wave and say hi to his girlfriend, holding the controller
They said the "PS4 demo" was actually running on a PC with PS4 level hardware... so I'd say mid-range sounds accurate.
Yeah it's just that the PS4 hardware is 8GB of GDDR5 RAM shared between everything. That's insanely fast, can PC hardware even do that? I know it's not a be all end all since graphics cards can have like 2GB alone and regular RAM is fine for storing things but I don't know what that means for PC optimization vs. PS4 optimization.
i'd ask darpa instead... [editline]22nd February 2013[/editline]
Yeah it's just that the PS4 hardware is 8GB of GDDR5 RAM shared between everything. All these people claiming you'll need a space-age PC to run Watch Dogs :v: People, it's being released on consoles. As long as your PC is around midrange, you'll be able to run it. This ain't Crysis.

The PC version looks pretty gorgeous compared to most of our current-gen games.

But people can still play games at bad quality on their laptop or PC.
I think you're exaggerating the hardware behind the PS4 a bit. It's more or less a 2011 PC.
I think you're exaggerating the hardware behind the PS4 a bit. It's more or less a 2011 PC.
This. How else are they going to sell a system for around 600 bucks? I don't know if the price has been announced yet, this is just a wild guess. If you want a gaming console that can match high-tier gamer boxes of today it'd cost 1k+
My only option, really, is to buy a PS4. But if you just want to play some major upcoming AAA titles and whatever Indies happen to pop up on PSN, yeah probably. This ain't Crysis.
Depends on how good the port is, or else all console ports would run equally fluid on PC (with appropriate settings). There's several voices claiming "PS4 = PC!", but the weird RAM architecture alone leaves me with some serious doubts. But x86 will hopefully mean faster ports if nothing else.

Smells pretty scripted to me.

It's just that I'll be more inclined to buy something like Watch Dogs on PC if I can try a demo first to see how it runs, if I can't get all the bells and whistles running in it that I could with a PS4, well... all live demos are scripted they don't want the things to not work lol
all live demos are scripted they don't want the things to not work lol
Oh god imagine if New Vegas has a non-scripted gameplay reveal. 'Here we have a squad of NCR soldiers, patrolling the Moja- Oh, uh, don't mind that one just fell through the ground, or that one just killed his mate trying to shoot through him at an enemy out of sight.'
