Yeah. minigames are ass, but I hope they keep the gimmicky features down..
What gimmicks are you referring to?
I woke up panicking about forgetting to purchase a collector's edition of this until I remembered it's still May.
Fuck I was scared.
So I just preordered this game, kinda disappointed an outfit isn't included in the Gamestop preorder bonuses though.

I rated funny on the basis that this is clearly mocking how common it is for games preorders to do this.
[sp]You.. are joking right?[/sp]

[sp]Yes, yes I am[/sp]
Should've made that more clear :v:
[editline]23rd May 2013[/editline]
In all seriousness I did pre-order this and am extremely excited for it.
Let's get this thread going again.

As cool as this is, it just seems to follow the same formula as the other demos. I hope there's some more variety in the final game.
I think most of the variety will come from single-player and multiplayer rather than side missions they're demoing.

Well yeah, it's a carefully crafted demo (even if it's live performed) that aims to show off key aspects that generally remain the same. Ingame it should be much more organic.
Also, have any of these recent trailers depicted Pierce dragging around corpses? I always need that in proper stealth gameplay, but kinda try to avoid a lot of info now that I'm certain enough of the game's quality and buy it and hopefully absorb as much new stuff as possible first-hand, rather than features being "spoiled" in trailers.
That that feature's important to me so I'd like to ask.
Not sure if it's was posted before:

That multiplayer gameplay does look fun too :-D
I think it would be cool to start downloading the data, sneak into a car and act like a normal NPC just driving along the streets of Chicago.
I wonder if you can do that? probably. Then you can pull into some parking garage, get in the stairwell and wait till you hear a door slam open.
But you probably have to stay in range of the person you hacked, but then why would you run away. Iunno what the limitations of range are going to be on the MP, but I hope you can just do my little scenario above.

Profiling mechanic excludes acting like a normal NPC. Gotta stay out of sight too unless you're in a HUGE crowd or something.
Running away because the one you're hacking wants to kill you.
I'd imagine it will turn into a cat and mouse game since one needs to stay close and survive and the other needs to run away or kill.
I'd love to drive around Chicago, hacking all the street lights to it's always green.
I'd also scare away criminals about to mug someone, just to mug the person I saved. If they did something dumb like walk down an alley way, that's just begging for someone to attack you.
How come this thread always drops out of my read list? Makes me angry.
Anyway, this game is going to be great, it has a lot of potential.
I forgot to do something, but what was it...hmm, oh yes, that was it.

£57?
Fuck that.
Amazon hasn't updated the prices yet, it has a price guarantee anyway so I'll pay the lowest price, which in this case including the extra £1.69 for P&P will be £41.68.

Wait what, Aisha Tyler is going to be in this? That's pretty cool.

Now that's a clever touch!

That's some real ingenious lighting.
Considering i've lost alot of my interest in playing games and such in the past 5-10 years, I'm really fucking stoked for this game!
I've been thinking and did the original Splinter Cell: Conviction end up becoming this game? If you were following that game from the beginning you'd see the similarities. They had a ton of really good ideas but somewhere along they changed the direction of the game and redid everything
Any news?

Well this the map. Hopefully not the entire map because that's pretty small.

Watch Dogs, evidently.
Those make more sense. And I think I'll say I can probably max this out.
