Do you people just look for things to complain about whenever there's news about games?
Well we've only seen a small percentile of the actual game. Lets hope they put on the tough guy shit for the trailers. [editline]12th March 2014[/editline] Anyone with their knickers in a twist about the graphics

“PC on very high setting is REALLY stunning if you ask me,” said Morin. “As for [street NPC] density it also very high of course.”
I can vouch for that, played the PC version 3 times.
He looks fat
The only difference in his face is that now he looks like a person and not a gnome.
Well, Noam Jenkins is voicing him...
say what you want about the downgrade on the graphics, but one things for sure, they dumbed down their character, they changed his face to a more generc action movie hero and changed his voice to another generic raspy one, instead of the more calmed douchy and normal guy they were aiming for, that, at least imo, was a better direction to go for, oh well.
All this does is make me realize how little actually changed and how superficial some (most) of these complaints are. Lighting from below illuminated his neck and smoothed his jawline out. His face is in a less extreme expression so skin is less stressed and wrinkly; no reason for the wrinkle map to kick in in that second shot. These are both screencaps from videos on either youtube or IGN's own player, both of which look shit. No judgement of texture quality can be extrapolated from these images, man. The only thing that's actually objectively been dumbed down is the hair coming through under his hat. They nerfed the amount of planes and the hair shader itself looks way more simplified. Also the first time we heard his voice it was in the context of talking with a friend, and the "new" voice you're bitching about is the VO for a FUCKING TRAILER.
The only thing that's actually objectively been dumbed down is the hair coming through under his hat. They nerfed the amount of planes and the hair shader itself looks way more simplified.
Probably because of PS4. The E3 2012 shot is on a PC on max settings
I hope this game can make use of multicore CPUs efficiently for lots of NPCs - I really like feeling like the idea of feeling as if I was just a guy in a crowd.
I really hope that NPCs don't just disappear after you drive around the block or something. I also want to be able to follow an NPC around and watch as they actually do shit. Sort of like in Deadly Premonition. I read a recent article where the journalist followed a random nevous-looking NPC. The NPC stopped in front of a house and hesitantly put an envelope into a mailbox, then walked off. The journalist continued following but the NPC noticed he was being stalked by the player so he ran away. Not sure what happens if you continue chasing him. Also, according to this article, you can't beat civilians down with your baton, yet you can shoot them dead. You also can't shoot from your car. And apparently, you can't see blood when shooting pedestrians. http://www.thearabgamer.com/2014/03/watch-dogs-ps4-impressions.html

are you serious, whats wrong with it? the only real difference is his eyes are a bit more defined, but thats probably just the light.
I hope this game can make use of multicore CPUs efficiently for lots of NPCs - I really like feeling like the idea of feeling as if I was just a guy in a crowd.
I'd hope that it was randomly generated too, because seeing the same model, with the same clothes on ALL the time is annoying as hell. Hitman Absolution did an okay job with dispersing the common person from being replicated.
the top has a more everyman look to it, not very attractive/defined as the one on the bottom his face is a tad more wide and less tall, as well as having kinda more dopey eyes
The top looks like a gnome/potato man, which makes sense since he's supposed to be Northern Irish. The bottom looks like he's about to cry. Is he still supposed to be Northern Irish or did they change that?

He should just never take off the mask until the end of the game, just to please the damn idiots complaining about his face.
That'd make zero sense story-wise.
That'd make zero sense story-wise.
With him constantly trying to hide his identity and all?
With him constantly trying to hide his identity and all?
what about when he's talking to people he knows? he wouldn't need to worry about his identity then and if he wore a mask all the time that would make him suspicious as hell and even more easier ot detect before he does anything illegal
Or maybe it's the lightning and expression that is making him look completely different.
You guys really look for anything to complain about... Oh no! His character design has changed a tiny bit, with most of the difference being from post-processing and lighting! Oh no, his voice is a tiny, tiny bit different under different contexts! Oh no, the graphics from X don't look the same as the graphics from Y, even though X and Y run different hardware and software! Reserve your judgement until the fucking final product is released, jesus.
I dunno about you guys, but this really doesn't seem like it's worth arguing about. I was really looking forward to the game, but the e-drama over the texture/graphical/game quality has made me second guess it a lot. It's probably just better to wait for the game to come out and see some reviews from people playing it on the PC.
I just want to know if the gameplay is actually good.
Honestly, between Division and Watch_Dogs, there is an extreme amount of hype surrounding Ubisoft and its new IPs, and they both have an extraordinary amount of promise in both of them. I just really want both to succeed and be loved.
I doubt it, but it'd be neat if Watch Dogs had any portion set in the winter. At all.
It'd be nice if with open world games like this and GTA the seasons would pass. Maybe we'll see it this generation.
just a little fyi: the person who said gmg has a coupon code for 20% off watch doggies is excluded from that code, so don't bother
I wonder how character customization is gonna work in 8 player freeroam
just a little fyi: the person who said gmg has a coupon code for 20% off watch doggies is excluded from that code, so don't bother
You can get it -20% with the code UKMAR20OFF on that website, if you really want it: http://digital.gamefly.co.uk/#!/download-watch-dogs/5006825?pf=PC#reset
Scratch that it looks like they already have a pic: [editline]12th March 2014[/editline]
You can get it -20% with the code UKMAR20OFF on that website, if you really want it
Will it be a Steam key, or an actual physical disk?
Will it be a Steam key, or an actual physical disk?
well uh, uplay key actually
steam key
It's a Uplay key, the game's not Steamworks
