It does that on PC now as well.
yeah, i was actually looking forward to using some spare uplay points i had on my console account when i got AC4 on PC then when i was verifying i discovered i spelled my email address wrong so i couldn't use it :v:
Pretty sure it wasn't even around during AC1
Might have been ac2 then. Forcing it down your throat for no reason
Is there anywhere better than GMG to get this game? 14 dollar store credit or 12 dollar cash back for deluxe edition seems pretty good.
I'm concerned I won't be able to run this, but when I checked one of those sites like "can you run it?" it said a 9590 chipset would only just be able to run it, so now I'm really not sure how to feel.
I bought a GTX 770 before that deal was a thing. Yaaay fuck you guys.
At least I got Assassins creed IV out of my 780. I also got splinter cell blacklist but the installer for that game crashed my PC so now I can't uninstall it OR play it. :suicide:
So, is it worth while to get a 780 ti over a 780? from what I hear you get 20% ~ performance increase, but for 200 bucks? What do you guys think? I also do a ton of modeling and UE4 work (stuff that a render card woulden't help with, like a quadro or titan)

In a few years you won't be able to run games on highest settings anymore and then 20% won't make a huge difference. At the moment both can run every (reasonable optimized) game on absolutely highest settings, so the 20% don't make a huge difference either IMO. To be honest though, I bought a 770 even though I could afford a 780 TI because I don't think a 780 is worth the extra price over a 770 or 760, so maybe take my post with a grain of salt (or two).

You will see a ~20fps difference between 770 and 780ti while gaming in 1080p. If those 20fps is worth the price difference to you then get the 780ti, but to me it's not worth it.
I haven't even played any AAA titles on pc since 2010, this is gonna get interesting with performance. 16GB ram, i5 2500k & GTX 770 @ 2560x1440

It wont be overkill in a few years, when you struggle to run the latest games on max at 1080p.
Why do people say this shit. It wont be overkill in a few years, when you struggle to run the latest games on max at 1080p.
Im on a evga classified 780ti with another 20% overclock on the base 780ti classified. And sometimes I feel like I still dont have eneugh fps on 1080p. Althought this does not apply to many games. But I like to play my games hence project cars on max smooth as butter when online racing. And rome 2 with shitload AI and graphics mods this card struggles but is just eneugh. And those games where i dont need it well I guess its good to have extra frames when on a 144hz monitor.
It's extremely expensive and the difference isn't worth it.
I haven't been keeping up with this game, holy fuck what the shit is wrong with me. Hope I'll be able to run this decently.
Will this run well on my Computer?
Is it just me, or does 669 MHz for RAM speed seem a little on the slow side?
Is it just me, or does 669 MHz for RAM speed seem a little on the slow side?
Double Data Rate 2-bits can be transferred in one clock cycle so the effective rate is ~1333MHz, but the actual clock speed is 669MHz.
I don't see why the game's requirements are so much when it doesn't even look next gen at all.
I don't see why the game's requirements are so much when it doesn't even look next gen at all.
The requirements of a game aren't all based on texture quality you dingus. It has to do with physics calculations, object interactions on a massive scale, load distances, and all that. Texture quality is only a small part of what actually makes up the GPU side of processing.
Texture quality isn't the only thing that's part of something being next gen, next gen is pretty much everything you just said.
I can safely say that when someone says "x looks next gen" or "x doesn't look next gen" they will usually be talking about texture quality. The fact they are using "next gen" as a term of description indicates that pretty clearly.
I would love to see one day where next gen means actually better AI, capable of surprising you from time to time

They brag about increased sight range and LOD rendering but the game looks exactly like sleeping dogs. i really doubt these open world games require much logic in them because all of the pedestrians and vehicles are loaded in within the block you're standing in or maybe two-three blocks away at best. it's just a prettier sleeping dogs.
Yeah. Do you want a game that needs to be rendered on a farm on Pixar's offices? I mean the games mighty impressive looking for high end hardware, I never understand this pc gamer obsession of wanting some unattainable standard of "next gen" without properly defining what it is.
I'm really hoping this is just a glitch.
I haven't even played an AAA title in years (except gta v which i think is the best looking game to date), the graphics will probably blow me away whatever happens :v:
oh god june26 pls.. no..
