Watch Dogs - Control Everything - Games

I would suggest pre-purchasing the deluxe edition from GMG over Steam. The game has uplay drm anyway, so just mount the game to steam. You get [img]http://i.imgur.com/WtWPLnQ.png[/img] When pre-purchasing the game. So I mean, 14 dollars store credit is pretty good imo. (Especially if you're looking to get another game in the future)

What's the cheapest price anyone has seen this for anywhere? So far the cheapest place I've found is CJs CD-keys for 30 euros which is a pretty damn good price already but I'm wondering if there's any cheaper place to get it.

it's no secret AC4 is pretty shit with its cpu utilisation, most ubisoft games are like this. I kind of get hurt by things like this since I have a gtx 770 but an i7 920@2.67ghz, and ubi games are never that good with multithreading. I'm really hoping WD is more optimized cpu-wise. the specs dont promise much but I still have hope. either way, I am planning on OC'ing it to about 3.5ghz soon so I should be ok.

I hope I'm not missing too much by just getting the normal edition. Shame there isn't vehicle customization.

Should I pre-order Watch Dogs on Steam? I haven't been following the news as of lately, so I don't know if there's been any negativity involving the game, or if it's worth purchasing at all.

Depends which of the many, many pre-order bonuses you want to choose from. Otherwise wait for release to know if it's worth a buy.

The digital goodies don't justify the pre-purchase. You get like an outfit and a stats boost. I'd wait for some reviews. Personally I pre-ordered the vigilante edition, since only Gamestop sells it in Germany and it was sold out for weeks. But if there's no review embargo before release and the game turns out to be not what I imagined then I won't hesitate a second to cancel it.

Yeah, the standard edition pre-order did seem a bit shite. Should I go for the Digital Deluxe Edition? Seems to have a good lot of additional content for only 10€ extra.

I had 100FPS in the beginning sequence, but decided to choose a more open area to make it fairer (also I had more time to play through the tutorial now :v:). I didn't get much more than 60FPS without VSync in that level. 65-70 at the most.

preorder bonuses are stupid anyway since typically you get them in the end anyway. I was tempted on getting this despite not being excited about another blando open world game but I'm about 100% sure by the time november hits this is going to have a gold edition that'll be in a bargain bin somewhere [editline]14th May 2014[/editline] i should say february since you know they're going to hold out DLC until christmas time
