"lets give the illusion that our game looks good by making it rain all the time so people can see our AWESOME RAIN EFFECTS but let's not bother doing anything else"
[editline]18th May 2014[/editline]
you about have to make the game look good to compensate for the staleness and the repetitiveness of the game but they didn't even do that
i'll see you guys in november when the game is twenty bux
Can't argue with a clairvoyant, guys.
I will have to agree that the game seems like it has tons more content than gta v though so that's always nice
You know what annoys the crap out of me, when people talk like they have played hours of a game that has not even been released yet. This game is repetitive and gets stale quickly. There are plot holes in this game, and others. How have you played enough of the game to say that? Go and say those things a week after release, but not before.
Why are you even coming into a thread about this game you aren't gonna buy?

Just to annoy those who like it and those who bought it.

I think we're doing a good enough job annoying each other as is
In my eyes, if the lighting and texture resolution are both shit, the graphics are shit.

ok
To anyone who got Far Cry 3 retail, did you get a steam code that went through UPlay? Since Ubisoft likes to use UPlay for their DRM, I suddenly have a concern that it might not activate directly on steam. It's not a turn off but it'll irk me a bit. I've kinda assumed I'd get one.
When I got ACIV with a new card a few months back it activated on uplay, I suspect that FC3 would as well.

As said before, it uses uplay to turn on, but you'll still be able to use the steam overlay and people will see you're playing the game
if it's anything like AC4 you won't really notice uplay at all, thankfully
I know it'll more than likely use UPlay, it'll just feel weird if it doesn't activate on Steam, I've been on Google and there are some mixed opinions, some say it won't use steam and some say it will but still use Uplay. I'll just have to wait and see, though it'll throw a wrench into my plans because I wanted to get the season pass with some Steam credit.

The Steam Store page says it uses Uplay.

Steam version goes through steam and uplay
any other versions only use uplay
Oh I missed that he was asking about activation
[editline]18th May 2014[/editline]
Gah, since it is using Uplay, I cannot use Library sharing to play it from my father's account.
Hey, with that Nvidia GPU Watch_Dogs deal, do you get a key for steam or for UPlay ?
[QUOTE=CompanionMube;44843412]Hey, with that Nvidia GPU Watch_Dogs deal, do you get a key for steam or for UPlay ?[/QUOTE]
Most likely uplay
There are no steam keys for watch dogs. Only uplay.
Doesn't really matter though. Got my code on uPlay cause I bought a new card. I'm assuming you can just hook up Watch.Dogs as a Non-Steam Game and still get the same experience as buying it on Steam.
It just irks me that I can't get the season pass with my store credit, oh well.
I can run AC4 on medium pretty playable on my old as fuck E6600 Core 2 2.4 GHz, boy I hope I can run this.
I'm confused over when I should buy this, can you guys help me out?
I'm tempted to buy the digital deluxe edition on steam before release so i can get the blume stuff as well, but on the other hand, no official reviews are coming out until release day
Should I pre-order now or after release?
So wait.
If I get the Season Pass for Watch.Dogs on uPlay, when the game releases what content do I get immediately?

Dedsec is included on steam digital deluxe edition btw
Ironically enough, I think my favorite of the outfits is the Chicago Outfit aka The Untouchables Outfit.
I feel like walking through Chicago while it's raining in that outfit would feel almost LA Noire-esque.
I don't even get why everyone hates on his default outfit so much
It's not even that outlandish, if anything it's kind of generic for a video game character.
But people are saying it's not inconspicuous but why not? I live in Chicago and if I just passed some dude wearing that in the fall I wouldn't even glance twice.
