Hack CP into someone's computer and get them arrested for it
can I hack the QR code heads to show cats
there better be a cats option
There's no way I'll be running this on my PC anytime soon. Guess it's the watered-down Xbox version for me.
Marcos had heavy security, and he likely would have recognized the player on sight, since even his peons know what he looks like. His security detail also wouldn't let anyone get close enough to shoot through the windshield with a handgun, especially since a stop in traffic is considered a seriously dangerous time in PSD work. The reason a crash is better is that it completely immobilizes the vehicle, whereas a red light doesn't do shit to stop Marcos from driving away.
This game should be non-linear, just for this. Lots of people thinking they are smart and it's easy as pie, only to get hit by common sense.

Game's awesome though. The only thing that I don't like is that Ubisoft was never a mod-oriented dev, I don't think any of their games support mods, which is a shame, because this looks like GTA4 with ENB or 5, and if it supported modding...
:allears:
I somehow doubt that I will be running this on my laptop.
So hyped for this but knowing how things usually are it's going to be very dissapointing.
OK everyone, don't get over hyped about this. Yes it looks awesome and sexy and all that, but we know very little about it as of right now. Hell, we don't even know if there is a freeroam, if anything in the demo was or wasn't scripted, etc. This has the potential to be amazing yes, but don't overhype it and make it turn out like spore did with it's hype. (Although some of that was the fault of the studio and EA and whatnot, so let us also pray and hope that doesn't happen here either.)

Loved doing that in DXHR in the Hive sidequest and the Taggert mainquest. Wish the NPCs had reacted more to it tho. This game seems to be doing it right tho, a car crash actually means people are involved, not just tin cans. People are hugging and talking to each other on the streets, too. Really brings the world to life. With the level of detail they're doing (giving each person some unique traits when you target them, like how much income they got etc), it wouldn't even surprise me if the game actually maps consistent characters.
Hnnng I wanna know more about this game so I can relativize my hype. I'm kinda confident right now because it's the Assassin's Creed devs, and I got huge respect for them for how they incorporated the critique from AC1 into its sequel and how they coped with the publishing department's demands of pushing out more Ezio sequels.
Wow.
That looks really, really impressive.
I know it'll end up being cut by the finished product but I hope it's actually as dynamic as it seems. That video could have been (and probably is) highly scripted but it looks pretty fun.

This game has a really interesting mix between present and cyberpunk. Post-Cyberpunk perhaps?
Reminds me of when you finish Solitaire.

Also I just noticed that the future has self-recharging phone batteries.

Wireless charging?
This looks swell, but I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Ubisoft game, so I'm not grabbed by the hype just yet.

Future also has regen health. That should be kind of more important.

Hnnng, can't get enough of those coat physics. Just look at them.
The worst thing about this game is having to wait for it to come out, fuck it could be 2 years until it comes out. Seems like such a painful wait.
As long as we get some new gameplay footage now and then I can wait. Just going to watch this one again and again until then.
The whole day I've been trying to convince myself that it isn't scripted. But then I remember GTA IV where some car chases had busses driving around and construction supports were collapsing. Both things are scripted and not present outside of missions but they would have been absolutely expectable if we had seen those scenes in a trailer.
One of my biggest worries with this is how limited we'll be with the whole control aspect. I noticed in the trailer he just turned all the traffic lights green, I was hoping changing them all individually or only a few specific ones or keeping them all red possibly to cause a traffic jam or force certain vehicles to go the way you want them to (think the italian job 2003 version). If we can only make them all green that's pretty disappointing.
Same goes with the train, I wonder if all we can do is stop it or something where it would be much better if we could switch tracks to cause a collision, increase/decrease the speed of the train or just reverse the train for example if someone is trying to escape you can bring them right on back to you.
I don't know man, I just hope we aren't really limited with what we're able to control in the world. On a side note the gameplay demo on YouTube has over 1.2m views already, easily beating anything else they've recently uploaded including AC3.
Looks pretty. I just hope they don't go with that "Always connected" DRM, then i'll just go and pirate it.
Meh. I would be playing on my desktop, which is connected to my router with an ethernet cable. That router is connected to my cable modem, which has had a total downtime of one or two hours over the course of about three years. I understand some people have shitty connections, though the majority of people who would be interested in playing this game have solid internet connections. The concept is annoying, though in my experience it's a non-issue.
Seeing as it currently runs very well on the PC used in the demo, I have a feeling that it won't just be some awful port. I like to give my money to developers who spend the time to make great PC games, since it shows that people are interested in that sort of thing.
What most people have in mind is a more explicit version of this

I know too little and that can mean it's going to be shit as much as it means it'll be GOTY all years

Probably scripted, I'm guessing a lot of stuff is. Holding my judgement on the level of depth and control until we get more information/gameplay.
Hm, looks like cyberpunk fans finally started to get some love. It started with DX:HR, then Syndicate (which apparently isn't very good, but hey, cyberpunk!), then that CDP Red Cyberpunk RPG thingie a couple of days back, and now this. I'm excited.
The part in the trailer where the wife dies makes me really sad, I suppose that's good...but idk
Every single goddamn time I read the word cyberpunk I think of

Fucking 1990s ruined the public image of cyberpunk.
Really hoping I can dick around with people with all that outside of missions. Jamming signals, causing accidents, controlling trains and bridges, and being an ass. Especially if people react as genuinely as they did during the car accident scene in the gameplay demo.
I want this, now.
