I use a 3G tethered iphone which beats my 250kb/s broadband. Getting like 450kb/s which is nice, should get it done in a day and a bit.
Although having putting up with this for a few years I still don't appreciate people going "HEH JUST DOWNLOADED 50GB IN AN HOUR LOL" "YOU NEED TO MOVE THEN GET BETTER NET IT'S SIMPEL!?"

except you'll probably hit a data cap?
I did that performance test thing that was posted and my computer got a 3700
uh oh is this low
So what does everyone think about the story that we know so far? Or about Aiden himself?
I really like the idea of being out for revenge. I never really got attached to children characters (ala Mass Effect 3, horrible implementation), but I think I can get behind this one.
Aiden being an anti-hero already makes things a bit fresher.
I have an Intel i5-3570K clocked at the stock 3.40GHz, 8GB of RAM, and a 660Ti. I assume I'll be able to at least play at a solid medium without any issues.
Unless I'm completely wrong and I wasted all my money and several traded in games at Gamestop for a game I won't be able to play at least a comfortable constant 40+FPS.
All this talk about performance.
Speaking of, how should AMD Radeon hd 6870 do?

i have a feeling performance in games as a whole does not improve linearly with that performance score rating.

you'll be fine.

thankfully I have complete and unlimited data along with 2000 texts and 2000 calls for under $20 a month.
without my 3g I would not be sane

I'm sure you can run it well on high too
They didn't die from being shot at all, or would you have to continuously shoot them, or shoot them in a lethal spot to actually kill them? I'm hoping civilians can still be killed by your hand if you're actually looking to be a homicidal manic
He shot one in the head and she didn't move at all. Only the civilians he shot in the stomach or lower still moved.
Does anyone know the best route to go to get this game?
I originally had this on pre-order for Xbox One for £35 (£20 off code on Very), but it's £23 on cdkeys.
I hate uPlay with a passion but theres no way of avoiding it. I'd get it on Steam but that means paying £40 and still not avoiding uPlay

So you are willing to pay 17pounds more just to not use Uplay which you still have to use anyway...

Most likely not

Too bad you need 12558.0 points to run Watch_Dogs on low settings.
You might've fallen for the old "mb/s" "MB/s" trick ISPs use to suck more money out of you. 10 megabits per second (mb/s) is about 1.25 megabytes (MB/s) per second. Megabytes per second are easier to relate to because we use megabytes to judge file sizes. I hate that ISPs do this trickery.
No, stop perpetuating this ignorant bullshit.
streams of data are always described in bits/s.

Not always but it's the standard. As he said, megabytes per second are easier to accustom to, because when the fuck did you ever store 8 megabits of data - no fuck that, you store 1 megabyte.
Also mb/s is megabyte per second, mbit/s is megabit per second.

Thats why storage is in bytes. but any form of data transfer has its rate given in bit/s ie SATA, HDMI, Ethernet, wifi types...

sry!!!!
Why don't you all just wait how will the game be (un)optimized instead of posting "Hope I can run it on high"
Here have a boat

Also don't forget that MB is also used for Megabytes and Mb for Megabits.

And most important:
MiB = Mebibytes
Megabytes = MB
BUT
MB = Mebibytes
Don't ask me who thought that would be a good idea

I wish Ubisoft would improve the uPlay client slightly at least.
I preordered the game and season pass, yet it still says "You don't have any games now,"
Thanks guys, that's really reassuring :I
