Ambiguity isn't good. kibi is for 1024.
You got email confirmation didn't you?
Yeah but it still should show up in the library, maybe greyed out or something, not just "you don't have any games"
It's not really ambiguity anymore, everyone I know knows that megabyte means 1,024 kilobytes But that might be because I use imperial
Ever seen something like this: If you bought that thinking GB meant 1024^3 bytes, then you end up with less than you thought you would.
Kilo, Mega, Giga, Tera and so on are SI units. Kilo=10^3 Mega=10^6 Giga=10^9... you can see where I'm going with this. On computers you aren't using base 10 though. You're using base 2. So they invented more prefixes: Kibi = 2^10 Mebi = 2^20 Gibi = 2^30 Tebi = 2^40 and so on When you look at your harddrive in Windows it will show your 1 terabyte hard drive having 0.901 TB capacity. This isn't because you got ripped of, but because in this case TB stands for tebibyte.
The Xbox 360 version has been leaked. anyone with a modded 360 could pirate and play the entire game right now
I only got 1261 passmark rating... I guess I'll barely be able to play this?
I only got 1261 passmark rating... I guess I'll barely be able to play this?
I don't know what an overall score of 1300 entails to, so I couldn't say. Just post your specs instead.
What's this passmark everyone is talking about?
Devs say you need a CPU with a passmark score greater than 10000 to play the game on max settings
Will my 2600k oc'd to 5 GHZ be enough?
Mine is like 6700 or something so I'll be able to play it at high. I'll be able to crank up some ultra settings, but that'll be more trial and error.
Devs say you need a CPU with a passmark score greater than 10000 to play the game on max settings
hopefully 6378 will be able to play on decent settings
Sweet, over 10k CPU here. Were there any other recommendations other than >6GB ram and a 670 or better?
Scored a little under 5000 on the CPU with a 965BE OC'd to 4.0GHz. Guess I'll be upgrading; 8350 or a 280x? Currently running an aging 6850.
8.1k for my cpu score, I'll probably get it in a few weeks after I've got some more money.
Looks like my FX-4100 with a score of 4,000 is gonna bottleneck my 270X quite nicely. ramirez, I'd go for the 8350, sounds like you'll need it the most for this game

Looks like there's going to be possibly massive skill trees in the game, like you'd expect from a Ubisoft game Can't deny it, I fucking love that kind of stuff. Really liking what I'm seeing in the stream.
Someone really liked Sir you are being hunted.
That's one of those VR experiences, right? Because it looks really disconnected from reality. Edit: Alright, he just woke up. Awesome.
So with a decent gfx card, how do you think I'll do with a CPU Passmark of 5k?
oh my god that psychedelic VR :v:
its 9k-10k CPU score BTW somewhere in that range will give you ultra
Those loading times though on the Xbox version.
[sp]IIII'M FLYIIIIING Holy shit, this is the best fucking digital trip ever.[/sp] Suddenly some girl starts singing in Japanese and doesn't stop. Well I had to go to bed anyway.
wtf is up with that weaboo shit getting blared in the stream it hurts [editline]21st May 2014[/editline] oh good its stopped
Fuck yeah that spider is pure awesome. The leg animations are glitchy as fuck though.
