Yeah if you go around killing civs your reputation will suffer, people will probably run away from you, call the cops on you possibly if your rep is low enough.

on the other hand, having a positive reputation will mean people will look over some minor crimes you pull, eg. not calling the cops if you pull out a gun
I loved the rep systems in inFamous and Red Faction Guerrilla, especially all the bonuses that you get if you play smart.

There is a freeroam gamemode with up to 8(?) players and they've shown off a CTF type team mode with 4 players on each side. ill be surprised if there isnt some form of straight up deathmatch though
All though I pre-ordered this game, from live streams and videos the physics engine seems non-existent.
The way your cars plough through debris and objects makes your ride seem more like a bulldozer too, watch the 8 minute multiplayer footage how the car rips through so many things without much damage. I'm really hyped over the game but I don't want to be disappointed.

They are just using Havok, nothing extravagant like PhysX so I sort of expected basic physics detail, the water on the other hand looks pretty slick.

I'm not surprised, the GTA series are the only open world games i've played that has managed good driving and physics, everything else has been absolute shit.

Every reddit thread, [I]every fucking reddit thread[/I], has people complaining about how bad the game is and how terrible it looks. If it's not that, it's fucking "oh wow, just gta with a hacking gimmick so generic." UGH. Such a fucking circlejerk and it is so damned annoying, god damn.
That's what happens with unmoderated boards.
Well in general it just reflects the fact that the majority of the people are stuck in this mindset that because things like GTA IV set new bars for open world, and even the ones before that, that literally every open world is now just a GTA clone in their eyes. Literally this happens too often with new games when people can't just be content liking it for it's own merit or appreciating what it brings to the table without immediately comparing it to 50 other games. Any game from now until the end of time that is open world is now a GTA clone and anything that uses anything remotely similar to voxels or procedurally generated destructible environments is forever a minecraft clone etc. And to top it of literally everyone forever arguing about this on reddit, 4chan, youtube comments and news articles haven't played the game and they'll blindly defend or relentless criticise the game without even trying it, once again sums up the state of the self entitled gamer majority.
Ugh I swear like this happens several times a year and people never learn not to be arguing or forming bandwagons or boycotts against games that they haven't even tried.
Let's hope Watch.Dogs can overtake GTA IV in the most important part
PC optimization
From everything I've seen it's completely optimised and as has been shown even getting some extra graphical features, I'm fairly confident we've got nothing to worry about. Here's just hoping we'll also get some extra draw distance and better textures to boot.

I guess I should say that the NA version is tied up by the 9$/12$ thing while the EU version can, indeed, have the voucher applied.
But you're in the US though, so I'm not sure why that's listed as valid.
One of the devs confirmed on twitter that High on the PC is next gen, with ultra being exclusive to PC.
