Pretty sure it's only laggy and stuff because of the fact it's a cracked/leaked version
i have a 2500k OC @ 4.1Ghz with a radeon 7950 3Gb and i can't even get more than 50 fps with everything on low
Yeah that might be true.
Pretty sure it's only laggy and stuff because of the fact it's a cracked/leaked version
after Battlefield 3's launch i no longer consider this a valid excuse
Yea... at first I thought it was due to low FPS... but it's also in locations where I have 70+ ...
Also, the cursor in menu... holy fuck, it's on acid or what, it moves so damn fast and uncontrollably...
It's pretty obvious he is joking...
I fixed it, drop your per-rendered frames to minimum.
I hope to god they patch this on release, the shit I've been reading on this thread is inexcusable.
With the nvidia gtx 760 bundle they will probably make it even heavier on the gpu so people buy more gtx 760s, and so that they give the free copies of the game away to others so they also buy expensive hardware just to play the game
It is a win-win for all
after Battlefield 3's launch i no longer consider this a valid excuse
I'm just saying it's leaked
You have no idea if that's the release version or a test version or what. Ubisoft has had a really good track record of having really optimized titles on the PC so if this turns out to be shit on release then that's going to be a surprise
you also have no idea what went through the cracking process or whatever either. Maybe there's file changes that just fucked the game's performance up. It's not the first time that a game played like shit on a pirated version
so 780ti and a i5 4670k reporting
everything ultra @ 1080p, averages at probably 40 fps. driving is near impossible due to tons of stutters where it suddenly drops all the way down to 20fps for a second, then it returns to normal.
Sounds like the same issue Saints Row 2 had, among many issues. I cringe when I remember how awful the framerate got while driving.

Likely it is a retail copy that's been cracked, aka this is exactly what you will get on release anyways. If you think Ubisoft has a good track record of optimized PC titles, check out AC III and IV.
Well, unless it was a TV too, then its understandable, you shouldn't be using a TV for a PC.
My 32" TV is great for my computer, and it was cheaper than a 32" computer monitor was.
I've been playing it for a while, and I got my text from gamestop to pick up my preordered copy, followed by "DONT FORGET YOUR SEASON PASS!".
Fuck that.

I've never had a problem with either and I haven't ever seen any major complaints
Also I'm talking about huge release bombs like fallout 3

also boy am I glad I decided to wait until next year when the GOTY is out for twenty bucks, this game is such a snoozefest
AI reaction to car accidents went from helping to taking pictures...
pretty accurate?
Getting no fps drops. Shits good. Cars feel like saints row handling

Streaming some gameplay for a bit, just roaming around and testing out performance again

AI is a bit dense. He can't figure out how to get out of this pickle.
For those who are playing, are there any SWAT teams deployed after a certain time? Are paramedics and firefighters existent? As in, do they do something?

I've saw firetrucks. Haven't attacked cops yet been doing missions. Haven't saw Paramedics.

Black Flag was not optimized. The cove that your home base is ran like shit. If more than a couple ships got involved in a battle, it ran like shit. Parts of Havanah ran like shit. But then there were other parts that ran just fine
I don't know what the crack is like for Watch Dogs, but if it's the steam version it's probably nothing more than a couple files that more or less bypass steam, rather than do anything to the actual game itself. I've already decided not to buy this until GOTY, but the other reason is I'm very rarely ever going to buy a Triple A title on release anymore because of the Release First, Make it work second mentality they have now.
The time between the release date and when the release date is announced is proportional to the number of bugs and problems there will be

I was told by support that I will receive a key to register watch dogs on my uplay account. I dont think there's a 'steam version'
the Retail version is Uplay. Steam is just a digital option.
This game seems overhyped. Looks like a shittier GTA V with tacked on hacking mechanics. Just my thoughts though.

If it's a crack to get rid of Uplay, then it could only run better! I hate Uplay, ever since Anno 2070. It's tied into the game like a cancer, everywhere you turn and look in that game, Uplay has its fingers gripped around it. They're cool ideas, but what would have been really cool is IF IT WERE OPTIONAL
Conviction also ran like ass online. Just terrible framerate of about 15 that would freeze every 3 seconds on the dot. Cracking it to bypass Uplay solved it and it ran perfect again.
So, I hate Uplay
Uh guys, check this out: http://steamcommunity.com/app/243470/discussions/0/540742667204945342/
Seems the PC version is set to console. I don't know if this changes things, I would try it out but I deleted it to avoid spoiling myself further.

Are helicopters flyable? Because there seems to be a police helicopter chasing me.
i fixed my FPS issues.
turn out that anti-aliasing is a HUGE performance hog compared to AA from other games.
if the game runs like shit dont max out the AA
are you telling me you bought a computer with a 400 dollar graphics card and you dont even know how to find system requirements for video games?
to answer your question, yes, you should easily be able to run it
Actually me and my dad bought all the parts and put it together.
Someone should do a screenshot comparison with what we saw at E3 2012 and the release. Of course, with the tweak Pridit posted about.
